Brilliant idea. This will save me loads of messing about moving the sprinkler. Just used your code - thank you - and ordered the 50m and reel. All the best. 👍
Nice one, appreciate that 👍🏻 I wasn't sure initially, but I actually think it's class (regardless of them sending it to me - wouldn't have made the video otherwise). The fact that it's like rain sold it to me. I've used it a fair few times over the past month.
Just bought one, thank you for the code 👍🏻 From your advice I grabbed a Hayter Hawk and love it. I’ve just bought an Allett Classic 14L cylinder mower and I see you have now just bought an Allett……great minds 🤣
I’ve used the sumi soaker for the past couple of seasons, it does work really well, so long as the isn’t much wind, and like you say, you only really need to crack the tap open to get decent coverage, also got the the German ones that the Real mowing mowing club has, also excellent and if it’s windy has a bit more punch to it. Both are great in my opinion 👍
Looks great but £110 for a sprinkler is a tad excessive given the main benefit is length and so you’d want to order the long one. Great channel though bud, enjoyed the vid as always 👍
@@NoviceGardener I'm happy for you , I love that grass verge alot and it deserves the attention it's getting now wish i had somthing like that I could see from the top bedroom window maybe one day 👍🏾
Well when you want to water somewhat frequently, you can't leave this thing on there, it will leave a mark for sure. If you want a simple solution I'd get the type of sprinkler that can sit at the border and spray in a radius.
Iv just brought one of these but with no reel as it winds just as easy. I'm doing my reno next week and brought some ground rods going to put the soaker on them so when I overseed I dint get a patch on the grass
Cheers mate. Not trying to be a salesman. I'm only showing stuff I'd pick up myself. Tried doing the video the same way I've done for reviews in the past of stuff that I've bought myself. But I'll take it on board for future stuff 👍🏻
Was close to getting one of these, but pitchcare do one at half the price. As i have a water pump so not an issue with pressure , i went for a couple of German sprinkler heads and they work a treat.
It depends on what size someone wants to go for. I was hesitant about the soaker hoses at first, but they're decent bits of it. Much prefer them to a regular sprinkler.
Weedol for lawns, I gave my lawn two applications last year and it all disappeared. It says one application per year but the first treatment didn't work so I went for two doses.
How does sumisoaker compare to garden hose and sprinkler 20 mins with my sprinkler gives me about an inch of soaking How long should I leave my sumisoaker on for same result - 1st try this morning and looks great but not sure for how long
I usually leave it on for 20/25 minutes. I've not actually tested how much water it puts down, but I'm going buy some of the rain catchers to test it. I'd use a tuna can, but you'd never catch me cracking one of them - don't do fish!
@@NoviceGardener thanks for this I use rain catchers from Amazon I left it running for about 30 mins and it had filled 1.5 cm in 3 different locations Although more accurate and saves water, it’s gonna me longer soaking times to get to magic 1 inch 2-3 times a week
Looks like bit of a faff, I'll stick to using the hose. Good review tho mate and lawns are looking great. Got load of weeds in my lawn so trying that weedol lawn thing you did and see what happens
Fair dos mate - it always depends on the type of lawn you have, and even the shape too. Weedol is great. It takes a few weeks to do it's thing, but you'll see the results in about 2 to 3 weeks. I applied it last autumn and have almost no weeds in my front lawn!
I don't see it that way. I get plenty of emails each week about promoting products and most I don't entertain. I only ever create a video on something if I think it's something I'm going to actually use. And with this, I've actually used it a fair bit.

This is great mate, your channel is growing more and more each day with all these companies sending you things, well done mate
Nice one mate 👍🏻
Think it’s crazy how far your garden has come along from the beginning, keep up the good work
Cheers mate! I feel like I've got an actual garden now 😅
Took a few years, but getting there!

Great minds think alike! 😅 Hayter and Allett, both absolutely superb
Great Combo, cannot wait to try them together 👍🏻

I'll have to have a look. I wasn't sure when I originally saw it. Thought it would be more cumbersome, but with the reel it's really handy.

It won't be for everyone and guess it will depend more on the type of space too.
I really like this , im glad your grass verge can now get some more watering expecially when we get a heatwave
Same here! It was a lost cause last year. Trying to water it was a nightmare. Glad I've got a solution finally 😅

The bottom lawn,is looking good,fescue.😊
It's doing really well at the minute. It's had a few cuts recently, another feed today too. It's getting there

You'd have to take it off between waters otherwise you'd end up with a dead strip. But would do a job depending on the lawn.

Great shout! Good luck with the reno 👍🏻
Love the channel mate, you work really hard. Not sure on the QVC element though.

Have you done a video on your sprinklers? I'll have a look at pitchcare too. Thanks!
@@weepz Nothing on the sprinklers, but you can see them in action on my latter videos.
Have thought about getting one of these. Another thing to save up for. 🤣
It's never ending with lawn care! I've got 6 mowers in the garage and after every one I say it's the last 🤣
I need some advice my lawn this year is covered in weeds dandelions . So how can I get rid of them best product to use?
Weedol for lawns, I gave my lawn two applications last year and it all disappeared. It says one application per year but the first treatment didn't work so I went for two doses.

I agree with weepz - Weedol works wonders.

looks interesting. How far from the hose does the water reach?
Between 4 and 5 metres

£100 ill stick to my hose I pulled out of the skip
You're going to start needing a bigger shed 😂
Funnily enough, one of my jobs today is to get the garage tidy. It currently looks like a car park, but for mowers!
