I'm using his technique to teach you how to make a stretchy headband.
I'm using regular worsted weight yarn and a J - 10 Size Crochet hook.

if you dont use regular acrylic yarn you will not get that much of a stretch? i love all natural fibers . I am struggling to learn this zig zag stitch. Since i dont use acrylic yarns should i just find another way to get a strretch in my knitting? i want to make a bra

I would try a sample of the yarn you plan to use and see if it will stretch enough. Don't be too hard on yourself, it took me quite a few tries to get the hang of this stitch.
