I have to watch a lot of television for my job and this channel makes better content than most production companies out there. The way you manage to seamlessly combine fun bits with the actual makeover with tips for the viewers with product placements and sponsorships is honestly inspiring

All of the separate spaces are stunning, but what really impresses me is the progression from room to room. They flow so naturally from one to the other. The living room, which is calming and comfortable, to the office, which is energized by that kicking wallpaper to the brightness and fun of the kichen, then finally ending up in the calm and restful bedroom. I normally have never liked when they paint kitchen cabinets 2 different colors. BUT I really love this. I think it's because it's not white and a color. So pretty and cozy. Can't wait now to see the bedroom and reveal.

Great makeover. So eclectic and well thought out. My only comment of something to change would be the blind in the bedroom that uses clips and a Velcro strip. These blinds are only meant to be temporary in a window until a regular blind is installed. A normal blind has a valance at the bottom with a plastic or wood tab to pull down and up with no need to use clips or a Velcro strip. Temporary blinds are cheap. A regular blind is sturdy, better made. Considering the client has been diagnosed with MS, it would be essential to incorporate these decisions and products into her Reno. No mention of the bathroom, and whether pull bars or other items to ease her use of a tub or shower-so wondering if the design team took her diagnosis into consideration.
From the books to the flow to the textures to the colors and tones...the thing that came into my mind was "Sisters are doing it for themselves". I mean, this was so feminine and so strong and independent. This entire apartment makeover made this home a bastion for positivity; a perfect marriage of politics and self-care that's not exclusionary in the least. This is your best work to date, Alexandra!

I will advise anyone who is going to cover the face of your radiator covers….use magnets instead of hinges. You will need to remove them during cold months to allow heat to flow into the room. Those hinged doors won’t have enough room to open beside the bed to allow them to stay open. Please learn from my mother’s mistakes.

Beautiful. As someone with MS, if I could suggest - maybe do a series addressing accessible or universal design redo. I walk with a cane and a couple of times a walker, and area rugs, which I love, can be a problem. I’ve learned that MS issues can crop up suddenly so I’ve tried to “future proof” my home. Love the reading book for her and her cat :)

This series was super fun to watch. I found myself really anticipating the next episode and you guys made that apartment SO GORGEOUS. Very sweet recipient, too; she and her friends have a great story. The apartment has taken such good care of them it deserved a makeover for being a good nest.

I will advise anyone who is going to cover the face of your radiator covers….use magnets instead of hinges. You will need to remove them during cold months to allow heat to flow into the room. Those hinged doors won’t have enough room to open beside the bed to allow them to stay open. Please learn from my mother’s mistakes.

Beautiful. As someone with MS, if I could suggest - maybe do a series addressing accessible or universal design redo. I walk with a cane and a couple of times a walker, and area rugs, which I love, can be a problem. I’ve learned that MS issues can crop up suddenly so I’ve tried to “future proof” my home. Love the reading book for her and her cat :)

I was crying watching this video… the series. It was so emotional, and everything is perfect. So thankful, I found AG’s channel and I’m so inspired by the makeover especially this series. I’ve been battling with mental illness for years but I’m highly functional and one of my therapeutic task is to really clean, organize and decorate our home. I loved the series format but really I love everything y’all do (I’m southern in case you didn’t guess from the y’all).
