Catching Trout With Micro Fishing Rods

A session fishing with some micro fishing rods yielded some great results on my local river. This was filmed in early September 2023 during very warm conditions.
The fly rod set up is from Penfishingrods.com and is as follows:
Goliath Pen Fishing Rod, Cortland 2 wt double tapered neon chartreuse floating fly fishing line, DS (deep spool) Pen Fly Reel.

Yes, that tiny spinning rod is only 1m long but is perfect to cast as far as I need it to. Definitely my top pick to catch fish quickly and effectively.

This would be a great piece of kit for my compact and lightweight, solo camping kit. Would be interested in seeing how it stacks up stress-wise to the cheap Chinese knock-offs

It is very similar but it is longer than the Chinese pen rods since they are only around 1m (3'3") long. That's too short to use as a fly rod but the www.penfishingrods.com rod definitely functions as one.
