I am very new to woodworking so I do wish you explained each step more along with the tools you were using! Including the stain and finish you used. It looks great!
Nice video. Why did you use wood putty (?) on the edges before you sanded them? Woud sanding not have smoothed them out or rounded them as nicely? Thanks for the video. Very helpful .
As long as you have 3/4" or more you'll be fine. You could even get away with 1/2" with shorter screws. The cabinet in the video has sides that are about 1" thick, but the core is hollow.
Beautiful cabinet. Glad you mentioned the type of wood. This was exactly what I was looking for. Well done.
Thanks so much for watching!

Thanks for watching! Sorry I don't have enough detail in this one. I'm working on videos with more teaching content.

Just to fix some of the voids and deeper texture
This was great and I enjoyed the music also:)
Thank you so much!!
It looks really good, would you mind sharing the materials you used and dimensions of the doors please?
Each door is 43.25" by 21.25". They are made from maple plywood, then stained and top coated. Thanks for watching!
What type of hinges did you use here? I’ve been searching for cubed storage diy into cabinets and this is by far the most stunning and simple
Thanks for watching! I used soft close concealed hinges, 3/4" overlay.
How thick are the sides of the cabinet itself? I want to add doors to mine but I'm not sure if they're too thin.

What thickness of plywood did you use?
3/4"
With all those tools, this is not a simple project.
