- As many of you know, recently I underwent GRS surgery that was forever positively life-changing
Here in Canada, that surgery was paid for by our health care system. The same surgery for our wonderful friend Aly is going to cost $20K in the USA. Everyone should be afforded the health care they require.

I'm working on getting my GRS, you are so lucky!!
Canada is not perfect by any means, but IMO, every country should have universal health care...and after having undergone GRS, I completely understand why it is deemed necessary and covered by our system. I wish the US was the same and at the very least, that more insurance firms would cover GRS. It's so good to see you here on YT as well as on Twitter Donna ❤️ and I wish you well on your GRS journey as well.

I'm some what lucky, I have three health cares working for me, I'm retired Army so I have Tricare for life, I'm covered by the VA, so I get treated by them, and being older than dirty, "I'm 65" I'm covered under Medicare. Once every one is on the same sheet of music I should be okay.
Kelly in the US it depends on what insurance you have and I hate to and also where you live .
