@@dthomasfromnc no I get that, I was just saying I hope your channel has earned you enough to recoup the cost so you get to game for free. You’re a great resource
Love the 1 year review DT! Glad you’re still having as much fun now as you were in day 1. I’m going on 3 weeks with my machine and my family absolutely loves it!! Absolutely worth it right now and the MP is straight up 🔥🔥 Thanks for doing all you do with the videos bro. Couldn’t agree more with the love expressed for how well the older games still are fun to play. Take care and stay safe bud. PS: dig the JP shirt bro!
We are from the same generation and not gonna lie, the 3k for the game box version of this is very worth it to me. We are from the game generation of gamers so for people like us its an easy buy. I'm gonna wait till Christmas if not sooner to likely get this. This just has so much value for me. Also wanted to say I love your positivity and the way you presented all this in the video. Awesome enthusiasm!
That game metamorphic force you stopped at in arcade classic's before backing out to the main wheel was a game me and my dad used to play at the bowling alley arcade when I was a kid!!#great times
@@MasDouc different worlds for sure. Where I lived in upstate NY for most of my life I never saw metamorphic force or violent storm at any arcade I went to. I tried both of those games for the first time 5 months ago, they are pretty crazy.
Nice vid. I remember watching the vid when you got this. Some model paint or black sharpie is nice for touch ups on those scuffs/nicks. It hurts to see the same hyperspin videos on everyone's cabinet. To me, wheel logos look "cluttered" with the platforms and games overlapping. Would be nice to see some spacing on them. With some work, anyone can get the software setup (cab is definitely a different story). Thank you 1up for making the cab portion affordable for us wood working challenged folks. While I don't have a 55" tv, my modded 1up cab does everything the megacade does. 🙂. You are right, who would have thought as kids, we would have arcades as adults. GAME ON! 👍
Well said bro. And you're right about the 1up cabs. I just ordered the Street Fighter Legacy cab and I'm selling two of my older units. As for the spacing in hyperspin, I see your point. It would be cool to see some spacing. From my knowledge, hyperspin doesn't get updated support as Big Box (another front end). Who knows what the future holds for emulation and these front ends. But there is room for improvement. Thanks for watching.
Just gonna mention a couple of tips for that drive... Dreamcast roms should be in CHD format and Gamecube should be in GCZ format. This will allow instant loading without having to uncompress everytime you play a game. PSX and PS2 should load instantly as well. Also the amount of space taken isn't much more. Also you can change your default controller you prefer using per emulator or game.... for example I have the PS2 emuator use a gamepad by default but for specific games like Tekken 4 and 5 for example... they are mapped to the joysticks.
Makes me want to build my own cabinet and system. Would be cool to use either a spinner or a small keyboard to type in the game you want or to categorize the games in themes for easier selection. Manufacture, system or years. Too bad solid state drives aren't that high capacity yet. Does the system do a backup to a spare drive just in case? Is that system on a surge protector? I'm pretty sure you know that the blue power strip is not a surge protector. power supplies don't like surges. Where I live they occur quite frequently and they are quite sneaky. My backup power supplies and surge protectors alert me when a surge has occurred. To try and add more pressure to get the bottom graphic to stick use something called a J-Roller, it's used to press melamine onto kitchen cabinet tops. You may want to use a heat gun just to heat up the glue. Don't get too close. ;) You can find that in either a Lowes or a Homedepot.
I have been looking at getting a arcade machine and came across your first video. I wasn't sure about the machine until I watched your video. My first thought was who would watch an hour long video about a gaming machine. I watched the whole video and the next one. Then I was hooked. That is the coolest machine that I have ever seen. So my wife hates you now. I want the Megacade, but I think I am going to get the Pedestal so I can move it to different places and I can get more add-ons. Thanks for posting the awesome videos!
LOL That is too funny bro. Glad you enjoy my videos. To be honest, when I first posted the Megacade review, I didn't think any one would watch an hour long video. Boy was I wrong. 780k plus views later and a lot of people really enjoy the content. So I am grateful for that. Tell your wife that it's only a one time purchase. And I'm sure you guys work hard. Why not treat yourself to a machine that you will get countless of hours of entertainment out of. Nothing like reliving your childhood all over again on a daily basis. You see how much fun I'm having with mine. This arcade machine does have a slight learning curve. But once you learn your way around, it's pretty easy. Hope you continue to enjoy the content. Take care Brad.
Thank you for getting back to us, I was figuring it would be about that price range I told him that when he graduates from Junior High School I would get that for him as his present so now he has a goal, he is Artistic and your show is the only thing that makes them sit back and relax so I thank you for bringing something that gives him an interest and let him Focus I hope that you are as inspirational to other people as you are to us!

My son just made a video for you, when he promises to be good you have no idea the influence you have on my strength and I'm sorry to bother you and text you but he made a video just for you I wanted you to see he is truly your number one fan! It's
Great, honest review DT. I don’t have the MP drive yet, but loving my machine. I’ve had a very similar experience to yours since I’ve had my machine. Thanks for the great video man!
Got my machine a few weeks ago and my main issue is that the main wheel is a mess (particularly with all the individual games) and issues with things like no previews or in the case of some of the 'hacks' that I've no idea what game they even are; 'aaobb2' is totally nondescript. The wheel here looks better, but still not good to my mind. Like, why is Super Mario Bros X on the main wheel? It's a homebrew, put it under Nintendo Homebrews. I'm going to have to look in to how hyperspin works. Do you know if you can go multiple wheels deep? i.e. Sega > all the Sega Systems > Games for that system, or is it locked to just main and subwheels? I'd put them by brand, light gun games, 4 player games, fighting games, racing games, several others, but basically individual games shouldn't be on the main wheel. I've also got issue with plenty of games not working. Don't know if I'm just picking different games than you have, but something like Star Wars Trilogy only works on the version under the Mark 3 Sega section and not the other two places the rom is. Lots of others just haven't booted up. I'm planning to go through and find all the ones that don't. Duplicate roms are a pain as well, that needs tidied. Lots of the videos are in like 240p resolution. I need to go in and delete all of those. Plenty of the artwork is low resolution as well. Can be particularly noticeable on the composite images where the resolutions of characters standing beside each other are quite varied. When a game is highlighted the art often totall obscures the wheel in a way that doesn't look good. Seems to be the same here, would have preferred consistency with the overlay either being full screen or at least having the wheel always visible. At times the wheels, particularly for movies, has an entry that is not aligned and I don't know how to fix it. Speaking of Star Wars Arcade, the Tron stick doesn't seem to work very well on it, and it's the only game I got it for really. I've tried recalibrating but not been particularty successful. Anyway, might sound like I'm particularly down on it, but I'm not, it's been fun so far; I'm just a bit apprehensive about the amount of work I'm going to have to do to make it properly functional. The MP drive seems to fix some of these issues to be a better base. How does one get a hold of it?
I feel & agree with everything that you're saying. As I've become more familiar with hyperspin, I'm with you about games being on the mail wheel. The community driven Manhattan Project specifically was aiming at correcting pretty much everything you mentioned. While this is something that EHA should do as a company, the community stepped up and we are doing it. Mind you, we aren't on the payroll. We all have lives and doing a lot of this work in our personal time. So you have a team of individuals that saw some of the same issues that you did and we're doing all we can to eliminate that. Version 1 of The Manhattan Project takes leaps and bounds over EHA's standard 10TB drive. You can get your hands on it now by simply reaching out to the owner David. We're still making changes daily and finding different things on it. But we're pushing to make it better for sure. As we continue to iron out wrinkles in Version 1, Version 2 (or V1.1 whichever they call it) will correct more issues that were found in V1. So eventually, everything you mentioned (the flaws) will be corrected. Just takes time as doing this isn't our full time job. It would be great if it was though.
Dude, ME and You are alike! I was born in 1983, but the 90s is where most my memories lie. And like You, having an Arcade was the ULTIMATE GOAL! The people @ Aracde1UP realized that!
Yo DThomas!!! The one year review was very informative and truthful. The EHA machines are not plug and play and have hundreds of emulators working on different hardware configurations per customer. The FB page is a great community and the MP Team is busy working out kinks. I am glad that I purchased a machine and I look forward to my second delivery soon! This machine is really the ultimate gaming machine for sure!!! I look forward to the learning curve video and what I have in store for myself...LOL!!! Keep churning out these FIRE vids that help people make informative decisions! Peace!!!
I'd say that these machines are plug and play but with a learning curve. Definitely not as simple as an arcade1up. But nevertheless like you said, the FB community is there for helping out others who are in need. And I'm sure you're 2nd delivery will be on point. Whether you shop EHA, another company or simply build your own...just have fun gaming ya know?
Super Mario Strikers....one of the games I created my friend. You should try our sequel Mario Strikers Charged on Wii. My two player classic EHA dedicated to the sequel. Glad you love that game man!! Great video as always!!

I'm a bit out of touch with gaming now but it kinda blows my mind to have all these games at your fingertips in one system. The last games I played were FF7, 8 and 9...so this system would have all these games and play exactly the same way, mind blown! This would be great to play Final Fight or Golden Axe with a few friends!
@@dthomasfromnc It's a little difficult at times especially when I gotta re-map some of the controllers. I have the flight stick and am having a hell of a time getting it back online after it, for some reason, stopped working. EHA should put a series of videos on UA-cam with a bunch of "how to's".
@@smcgowan2008 gotcha! Myself along with other youtubers have put out a few how to vids. But I get what you're saying. The company themselves should have vids.
Enjoy. Hopefully you don’t have any issues getting it through a door, lol. There was a little miscommunication when I ordered mine and I had to cut two inches off each side of the cabinet to get it through my door (last one of course), lol. I was not fun to be around that day.
@@TWJ1979 I know d Thomas had a video removing the control panel to get it through a standard size door. have a question, was your door standard size or smaller? it's a little concerning now my doors are standard size about 32 in wide I'm thinking with removing the control panel, and the door I should be fine. what are your thoughts? Thanks for sharing.
I was looking into getting a dreamauthetics arcade machine but found it nigh impossible to find any reviews of it especially anything recently. Between you and scantronix (and others) I have been watching and following your videos for the last year. I have repurposed my dreamauthentic savings to the megacade, thank you guys.
Glad our vids helped you make a decision. Prior to my purchase, I couldn't find any recent vids on companies I was trying to shop with. Ended up seeing @Scantron5k video and the rest is history.
What's your thoughts on 8/6 buttons vs 6/8 buttons? And about angling the p3 and p4 joysticks towards the center of the tv vs not? Do p3 and p4 have enough room to play and see comfortably? Finally, what size marquee is that and where did you get it?
8/6 or 6/8 button layout....it's all personal preference. I like'em both. As for P3/P4 being angled towards the tv...again, personal preference but I don't mind either way.yes, P3/P4 have enough room to see while gaming. I've played like that before and it felt natural. I don't know the exact measurements of the marquee, but I got it from Extreme Home Arcades.
Have you looked into the new Sinden LIght-guns? They look pretty amazing. I am still waiting on my Gamebox. It's been almost 5 months. Hopefully, I will take delivery of my machine in late February. Thank for posting the video.
If I spend 4 grand I don't think I could wait 8 months for my purchase... The guy that makes these machines would make a lot more if he could cut the time in half...
I respect your honesty bro. I'm going to be shopping around, but the thing Megacade has over everybody else is the community, which is a plus for a noob like myself. I do agree that the MP drive should come standard moving forward. Keep up the good work man..
You're welcome! I try to be as transparent as possible to help potential customers make an informed decision. Keep shopping around and go with what's best for you.
Don’t know if I want the megacade or the pedestal, the pedestal can be easily moved around in different rooms , and can easily be move to my church game room for the kids on game nights. But I also like your megacade , but I think the pedestal would be a better choice for me. Also I enjoy watching your videos on your game system, you give so much information about your Megacade and the games on it. Are there any NBA Jam games on the system?
Hi mate, been watching your videos recently and i came across your lightgun and ps2 video - do they come standard with the arcade and is there a good variety to choose from with the lightgun and ps2 ??
The light guns were an add-on to my order. And there is a wide variety of games to choose from. And is in not mistaken, you have the entire PS2 library to play. Tons of games and loads of fun.😁
I have a arcade but with the pandora hardrive but feel i am missing out on a lot from what i see yours contains - i am guessing all the games especially the PS2 just comes with the hyperspin hardrive?
Just seeing this now... First off daaamm these are long videos, but so worth it! I want one and/or want to be your friend! I have started working on my wife to get her on board. I probably have 1000 questions... But the biggest is did you look at a DIY option? The software looks great, wondering if I could get that and build my own cabinet and save $$.
LOL I made like a 30-second clip of my son watching I think one of your latest videos, you're the king and our house! Who doesn't miss anything he falls asleep right in front of the TV he won't even lay on his bed 😂

Question. When you were playing MVC on Dreamcast, you used the Xbox controller. Can you not use the sticks on the cabinet instead? Which system emulator used a controller vs stick?
You can use the joysticks and buttons if you want. I prefer the controllers as they were intended. And mostly all systems can use the controller or stick. All boils down to personal preference.
hello and congratulations for the video. Could you tell me the characteristics of the PC for your cabinet and what system is installed? Thanks in advance Nicola
Just wondering what theme you are using? Whats the name of it? Its very animated and would love to use it. Like when you are on the Light Guns Games and the animation that is running while its just idle (ua-cam.com/video/q1Yo3chFd1c/v-deo.html).
Great video. Where is the community page located? What other choices would you recommend for an all in one solution? I want to purchase one all in one system with lots of similar games.
Thanks! Community page is on Facebook. Other choices for an all in one machine...quick Google search and so many will come up. (dreamarcade.com & pacarcade.com just to list a couple). You could buy an Arcade1up, throw a retropie in there and save a whole lot of money. You could build one yourself also....providing your own wood/materials.
@@dthomasfromnci love it. Im living my childhood. Didnt want to get old version i got the new jurassic park from stern. But price is like a megacade. I cant go standard cause When it comes to re living childhood gotta go big
Appreciate the honest and thorough review! Weird question if you have a second: are the joysticks for players 3 & 4 canted at a 45 degree angle or are they "true north"? If they are canted, does it make it awkward to use at all?
You're welcome! Not a weird question at all. Players 3 and 4 aren't true north. They are slightly canted. Do they feel awkward when playing? To me they don't. I even made a video where my friends and I were playing 4 Player games (WATCH HERE ---->ua-cam.com/video/aR44nNyyheg/v-deo.html) and they didn't say anything about the controls feeling weird to them.
Cool MegaCade! I'm slowly building mine customizing an ALU (Hand Paint + New Controls + gamming PC). A quick tip: some games you have to press down + start to insert coin. It really does seem to vary based off the ROM. In One Sauce I had to press the rewind (Back button) to start the game for Haunted Castle so you EMU app could affect this also. It's annying and still a bit confusing since it varies :(
I have a whole bunch of arcade1up games, but since watching your video my son wants to say HQ Mega I don't mind buying it for him but does it already have the games in it? Do I have to put it together? Someone please let me know just would complete my collection :-)
The Megacade comes with all of the games (over 70k). It comes put together. It's a lot bigger than the arcade1up cabinets. And it cost a whole lot more. Starting at $5450 for a 4 player Megacade. There are cheaper alternatives out there. Also, there's a learning curve in getting to know your machine as you're dealing with game emulation. Watch my review and you'll see how it all comes together when shipped. ua-cam.com/video/BM0IFeSRwqg/v-deo.html
Great material can be watched and watched;) I have a 3 Question 1. What this switch near the 4way joystic 10:19 on the left is for, maybe it is a switch so that you can play games from the pad on the Arcade panel, there has been an update in Ipac for a long time that allows you to switch between xinput, dinput, direct input, dpad etc ;) 2. 12:32 You know exactly the model of these 2.1 speakers + 8:14 What's that volume button ? 9:28 I have this same problem at home in Seimitsu 32. as far as i klnow it is enough te replace the srpings but unfortunatel it will be repeated anyway thehe is no rule for it :\ 3. 11:42 What is this usb hub model with switcher on off ?
1. (10:19)That switch is for the 3 buttons next to the 4 way joystick. Allow you to utilizing those buttons to act as right click/left click. Mimics a mouse while your trackball is how you'd move the cursor. 2. You can turn it right to left for volume up and down. Also has a switch on the side for bass boost. Check the pics in the Amazon link I posted above. 4. (9:28) No big deal thus far. Still holding up good. 5. (11:42) Sabrent USB Hub Heres what I found on Amazon. www.amazon.com/dp/B00TPMEOYM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_C7E56WFX614DA4ABWE0W
What up bro long time no talk!!! Hope all is well 1 year id Huge with the Megacade 1 day....but I did start my Mobile Video Game Truck Business!!! Us Gamers Must Keep Pushing!!
Hey Thomas, been watching all of your videos because I am thinking of purchasing one myself. Quick questions, all the games are loaded right away? I don't have to add any myself? For the Wi light bar, where so you install it and how did you calibrate your wi remotes? The Xbox 360 remotes come pre synced? Or do you need to sync them? How do you sync extra ones? In this video you are going to add a PS5 and XBOX. How would you add those options for system on the UI system at the start? Or could you? Or would you just change inputs on the tv to switch to your PS5 ext. Thank you so much, keep up the videos!
Thanks for watching. Glad to hear you enjoy the content. When it comes to the games loading up, some take a little longer than others. It could be any where from three seconds to 20 seconds. Depends on the game. But most MAME and 90's console games load within seconds. No, you don't have to add any games yourself. The Wii light bar is plugged into the USB slot on the inside of the Megacade. You sync the Wiimote the same way you do on the Wii. It's pretty simple. Yes, the 360 controllers come already synced to the Megacade. Some games may require you to map the controls because they may be mapped to the joysticks and buttons. Adding the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S is just putting the consoles inside the Megacade and connecting them to the HDMI port on the TV.
Hello! How come you have external console systems inside the cabinet? Is it because those systems/games are not part of the 70K stocked games it comes with? I am curious because I got one of these, I would want to connect my Switch up. However, not sure if the joysticks/buttons would be able to connect to the Switch. I've done it on my existing arcade (modded Golden Tee cab.) Had to use the Wii GameCube controller adaptor to connect to my X-Arcade Tank Sticks to the Switch dock. Thanks!
I out those consoles in there just cause. The other 60k+ games are a lot of old school and retro titles. So I out the consoles in there so the Megacade is literally a one stop shop.
Question about the 10 terabyte hard drive, when you say you may get some different artwork on the side, what do you mean? Like if you were to play Ms Pacman would a street fighter art show up on the side or would it just be black? edit: wrote the comment too soon lol, u answered it. But is it only for newer console games?
Hey D! Absolutely love your videos. I’m going through the process of trying to decide which “extras” to get with mine. Could you list which ones you got when you custom ordered your Megacade? Like, did you get the button, LED upgrades? I know you mentioned in a video that you spent about 6500’dollars but your machine looks way more tricked out than that! Thanks man. Really appreciate you.
What up Joshua! I appreciate you watching my vids. All I got extra with my machine were the light guns & the Wii sensor bar. Looking back, I would've added a spinner.
What’s the price tag for this unit? And does the sub effect the two consoles when it comes to reading the disc? I know you said it dosent effect the hard drive or over heat but just curious. Great vid thanks for sharing.
Base price for a 4 player Megacade starts at $5450. The subwoofer doesn't bother the consoles at all. But I'm going to be replacing them with a all digital PS5 and Series X.
Fantastic review my man. Listen its too massive to take up space in my restaurant but im thinking about doing something smaller however looking for the specs of the computer and the software, is that software sold separately? Ive done a raspberry pi but i am not too technical. Rather just buy the harddrove or whatever. Lemme know and thanx
EHA doesn't sell their hard drives standalone. If you're looking for something smaller and cheaper but more powerful and has more games (better lineup of software), I'd give this a look ua-cam.com/video/JiYjJfLjoEE/v-deo.htmlsi=4MYid6wH28C71cVp
@@dthomasfromnc will do, subbed as well. Ya I'm a restaurant owner in Asia so putting in a beast like that would take up one 2 to 4 person table. And weekends get crazy so wife would not be happy with me. Currently also looking at those table top ones. Remember those pacman ones that you sit down and they are actually tables. Looking at all options but ya I already have a bunch of tvs up like sports bar style so just something small attached to the back of the tv would be fantastic. Thanx I'm watching now
@Eddylive thanks for subbing! I think the Shar-Kade will take up less space and may be more what you're looking for. Also, I know exactly what you're talking about with the Pac-Man sit down units.
@@dthomasfromnc found a couple pacman machines out here that are kinda beat up and they want a grand US for them. Wondering if I can mod a table top style like that. Also found a restaurant special style one that is amazing but they want minimum 16 tables and they want around 100k us! Ummmm. I'll try to mod thanx
What's that outro beat???? Loved the video by the way, and my other question was there a particular system that the games weren't working or just random for each system?
Do you have a learning curve video uploaded? I ordered a Megacade and nervous about the difficulty of the functions of the machine....Also the game you're thinking about it Rumble Roses
Yeah Rumble Roses is the game. As for a learning curve video, I don't have one yet. But I was planning on working on one for new machine owners because there are a lot of them as of lately.
I love the depth you go to in your review. I always wanted a Megacade but I went with a RecRoom Masters. I can see Pros and Cons to both after watching your video. Especially if you want something delivered on your doorstep that is plug and play. Your setup is similar to mine except that with the RecRoom Masters you have top pick out your tv, speakers and setup your PC or pi yourself. I can say though, that the build quality of the RecRoom masters seems better once you get inside the cabinet and I think the controllers and buttons are of higher quality. That being said, TV size isn't as big, 3rd and 4th player placement isn't aren't as good on the RecRoom. Either way, loved the review. Subscribed.
Thanks bro! I try to express that there are more players in the game than Extreme Home Arcades. It's good to shop around before making a final decision. Some companies utilize different parts than others. Some more premium. But aye, as long as you're having a great time gaming, that's all what matters in the end. Appreciate you watching.
@@dthomasfromnc I really like your channel. Your Megacade videos are always good to watch. I too went with Rec Room Masters for my Arcade Cabinet. It is much cheaper in price but of course it doesn't come with TV Screen, PC all loaded, speakers or any of that. However, I find the finish product to be of higher quality aesthetically in my opinion (molding, side panel, speaker grill, etc). I don't have any air bubble on the artwork after 8 months. Finger crossed :) I grew in the 80's and everything you talk about in your channel I can relate to. I spend countless hours after school playing games in Arcade or at a Video rental store. You look and talk a lot like a friend of mine that we used to play Street Fighter II and MK almost everyday! My very first home console was the Sega Genesis. After that, I had pretty much most popular console (snes, ps1, Dreamcast, ps2, Wii, xbox 360, ps4). I'm a PC Gamer since the mid 80's (TRS-80, Tandy 1000) because my father work in that field. Anyway, I really like your review and your game room is amazing! I would like to share a video of my little arcade cabinet as well! ua-cam.com/video/PP84_42nL-U/v-deo.html&pbjreload=101&ab_channel=TDMDchannel
Can you list the stuff you would change if you did it all over again? like you did for the pro's and cons. I'm sure you can bust out another 10 min. video on that. For an example, I think you mentioned the lights on the buttons, or what brand you would use on those.
I suppose I could...but as for the lights, I didn't know they were going to go dim when they did. So out the gate, purchasing a different brand of lights didn't even cross my mind. But knowing what I know now, there are a few things I would've done differently. Added a spinner, plexiglass to kick plate and upgraded gpu. That's about it.
Great review man! Even though I ordered my cabinet last week with ETA of Nov '21 and I'm really excited & looking forward to it (and business with David's been outstanding), I do think based on several reviews out there from this community shows that EHA def has some room for improvement. Things like going a little extra mile by using premium components in their build to enhance the customer's out of the box experience (even though the "wow" factor is pretty much guaranteed I'm sure once you receive the product). Simple things like using name brand extenders (thinking top of my head, buy Belkin's in bulk rather than $tree surge protectors, under $10 bucks + in landed cost, but better experience & feel for the customer), source PC components from OEMs or major distribution companies with clear buying forecast to reduce price while ensuring high-quality components ending up in their builds (this is where you really save on cost so extra $ can be redirected to uplifting other areas of the build). Fundamentally, EHA is a turn-key premium service company with concierge customer service and they have a good core business, hopefully, they take the common thread of feedback from all of these reviews and apply them :)
Awesome and very informative. Thanks D. How's the gameplay with games like After Burner, Star Wars, etc without the flight stick? Definitely gotta get TMNT raw thrills and that Jurassic Park. Stay safe. Blessings to you and the Mrs
After Burner without the flight stick feels a bit weird but aye....🤷🏽♂️ TMNT Raw Thrills will be so amazing bro. We will continue to be safe and you do the same bro.
Bro how did you end up with a 55 inch screen? I thought they only sold the 50 inch screens. Also I just got my Megacade yesterday, but haven't hooked the control panel back up yet. Man let me tell you that thing feels like it weighs a ton. Lol, but I can't wait to play it though. I really want to thank you for really inspiring me to purchase the Megacade and making my childhood dreams of owning a real arcade machine come true..
Congrats on your purchase. I'm glad to hear my vids help you make an informed decision. Maybe my tv is 50 inches. Not exactly sure why I stated otherwise. Happy Holidays.😁
If I had to do it all again, I'd still purchase a Megacade. Overall, I've been enjoying myself and reliving my childhood to the fullest. 😁
Probably paid for it by the UA-cam videos from ad revenue

Appreciate the one year review.

Yeah man....one year in the hole. Thanks bro!
@@dthomasfromnc my dood!
Definitely still enjoying our Megacade. Glad you're enjoying yours as well. I'm a year in and still learning things.
Oh, and thee JP shirt....thanks!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I will be posting something else really soon that I think you would REALLY enjoy. Stay tuned.
The game with the wrestling chicks is called Rumble Roses!
Uggghhhh i definitely gotta show some gameplay of that. I knew it had roses in it. Thanks!
That game metamorphic force you stopped at in arcade classic's before backing out to the main wheel was a game me and my dad used to play at the bowling alley arcade when I was a kid!!#great times
Ahhh man, great times bro.
Metamorphic Force is an incredible game, another great beat em up that came out around that time was Violent Storm, you should check it out.
Thanks for sharing your Megacade with us.🙂 We can relive our childhoods vicariously thru you and these great videos.
You're so welcome! These games definitely brings back our childhood.
Thanks
Just ordered my megacade today. A bit more expensive than I anticipated, but looks to be worth every penny. Thanks for the great review.
You're so welcome! Now the wait begins.
It’s WORTH every penny!!!
It's not, but they're still ok machines 👍

Great, honest review DT. I don’t have the MP drive yet, but loving my machine. I’ve had a very similar experience to yours since I’ve had my machine. Thanks for the great video man!
You're welcome bro! Glad you enjoyed the vid. Also good to hear you're enjoying your machine.
@@dthomasfromnc I agree with everything you both said. I will grab the MP drive but will probably wait for a few updates first.

Thanks bro! And congrats again on your Megacade. I'm also looking forward to a fun filled year of gaming.

@@dthomasfromnc Yea I figured they wouldn't be a problem but hard to imagine without playing around with it!

The Megacade comes with all of the games (over 70k). It comes put together. It's a lot bigger than the arcade1up cabinets. And it cost a whole lot more. Starting at $5450 for a 4 player Megacade. For the Dreamcast Games does it have Powerstone? And for the Arcade games does it have Ninja Turtles in Time?
Yes, it has both of those Gamecube

I have a 3 Question
1. What this switch near the 4way joystic 10:19 on the left is for, maybe it is a switch so that you can play games from the pad on the Arcade panel, there has been an update in Ipac for a long time that allows you to switch between xinput, dinput, direct input, dpad etc ;)
2. 12:32 You know exactly the model of these 2.1 speakers + 8:14 What's that volume button ?
9:28 I have this same problem at home in Seimitsu 32. as far as i klnow it is enough te replace the srpings but unfortunatel it will be repeated anyway thehe is no rule for it :\
3. 11:42 What is this usb hub model with switcher on off ?
1. (10:19)That switch is for the 3 buttons next to the 4 way joystick. Allow you to utilizing those buttons to act as right click/left click. Mimics a mouse while your trackball is how you'd move the cursor.

Adding the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S is just putting the consoles inside the Megacade and connecting them to the HDMI port on the TV.
hey i was wondering on now the system games is there anyway to map the button to the joysticks or do you have to play them on the controller only?
Yes you can map the controls in the settings. Not all game consoles (NES, SNES etc) have to be played with wireless controllers.
@@dthomasfromnc gotcha. Makes sense. Thanks!
very good video friend sorry by chance do you know if when you buy the arcade machine on the page they are sent to mexico too?
Thanks! They do ship to Mexico and worldwide.
Screw that, that was a great choice on the power strip. Hey did you get the agitators for the joysticks yet we still winners.
Naah
Phenomenal review and flow; consider me subscribed. Well DONE!
Thanks! I appreciate that.
Thanks for the update review. What was the ninja turtles game you were referring to that's not on there? Also what is your favorite mugen?
TMNT by RawThrills. Also, one of my favorite MUGEN games is Everything vs Everything.
😁 The older console games have bezel artwork aslo.
No problem! Nothing wrong with modding. There's nothing like seeing the finished work and the beauty of a product you molded. Wish you the best, bro.
sick back drop man!!!
Thanks
What's that outro beat???? Loved the video by the way, and my other question was there a particular system that the games weren't working or just random for each system?
Outro beat is Fallen Angel by JBreez
I would love this megacade to work with my Oculus Quest too!!
That'd be pretty cool
Do you have a learning curve video uploaded? I ordered a Megacade and nervous about the difficulty of the functions of the machine....Also the game you're thinking about it Rumble Roses
Yeah Rumble Roses is the game. As for a learning curve video, I don't have one yet. But I was planning on working on one for new machine owners because there are a lot of them as of lately.
@@dthomasfromnc awesome can’t wait to see it ... thank you
You're welcome
Omg I didn’t notice that joystick placement until you pointed it out! Lmfao!!! 🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Does anyone know if the megacade glass have a dark smoke tint, or a light Grey smoke tint?
Awesome sauce, your arcade is amazing.
Thank you 😊
I love the depth you go to in your review.
@@dthomasfromnc Definitely. I really appreciate the detail you go into in your videos.
@@khatru311 I try and be as authentic as possible all while being informative & entertaining.
Finger crossed :)
I grew in the 80's and everything you talk about in your channel I can relate to.

Well said. And I definitely agree with you. Nothing wrong with constructive criticism.
Thanks man! Love your stuff.
No prob...thanks 4 watching!
The web site very hard to find how we buy one machine, I ready try to see how works many time, still not able to put one on the cart and pay for.
Just reach out to the owner. The number should be on the website.
Amazing Video Bro 👌🏾🔥
Thanks bro!
Now go ahead and order your pedestal😂
I REALLY NJOY WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS!!!
Can you buy the Manhattan project 16tb drive? Or do you have to purchase the megacade AND the drive?
If you're already a EHA customer you can purchase. They aren't selling them out right.
What's the brand of your light guns?
aimtrak
@@dthomasfromnc Kriscoolmod said it has issues. Do you agree?
@@80sGAMER yes and no. For MAME games, works like a charm. Dealing with TechnoParrot games, you will have some issues with the guns not syncing.
Thanks for what you do man. Great stuff. My question, are the Mortal Kombat and Street fighter games within, true to the arcade versions totally?
You're welcome bro. And to answer your question, yes, you get the true versions of Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter games.
