- I can’t believe our Extreme Home Arcade Megacade is finally here! It’s been a long wait, but this is sooooo worth the wait. This is fully customizable and we were able to design the art that goes on the arcade. Cool huh? This video will show you how the arcade is delivered, how the truck driver delivered it, the unboxing, and our first impressions of this arcade! #arcade #arcadegames

Very Blessed to have neighbors and family… had that not been the case though, WWZD??? Hopefully a call was placed with the delivery company to explain how your merchandise was unwantedly delivered on the wrong street, and the driver didn’t care? He needs to be held accountable, for the sake of future delivery customers. Can you even imagine not having the means of help??

He actually called them after the truck driver refused to deliver it to our house. They said it was “their policy”, basically it was no help. I honestly don’t know what we would’ve done if it weren’t for our neighbors. I don’t know if this is a PNW thing? Seems like everyone else got theirs delivered just fine? Weird.

Thats exactly what we were thinking. We live in the PNW and the past 2 days was raining. By the grace of God, that day was insanely SUNNY!! Wooooh

If you’re into modern design I build some nice wall mounted arcade cabinets for Umbrella Arcades. Everything actually works out to the box. It runs Batocera, so light guns are plug and play with the build.

I'm really glad there are more videos of this. I been going back and forth on whether to get one and I'd love one but I saw the weight and worriedd on the delivery, but it does look good! Glad you had awesome neighbors. I might have to do a lot more planning before I make one of these purchases but it does look wicked cool!
Yes definitely a lot more planning! It takes like 9 months for them to create it. They have great communication and they send you finalized images of everything as well! I think I would do a LOT of communication too with the shipping companies to make sure nothing like this happens!

That is a thing of beauty and I would love to own one one day (but at $10k for all the options and configurations I would want, not sure it'll ever happen). That is a beautiful entertainment room you have there, love the bar area too!
On a side note, that really sucks about the delivery company and truck driver. I can almost guarantee they do that sort of thing *ALL THE TIME* in order to try and get homeowners to say "Look, I know it's against your policy, but if I slip you $50 cash would you mind making an exception?!?!?". As much as I'm sure you paid for that beast and as unwieldy as it is, I'm kind of surprised you guys didn't try to bribe the driver to bring it to your house but I'm really glad you didn't... that kind of extortion is just ridiculous and shouldn't be rewarded. Kudos to that AWESOME neighbors who were more than happy to help (and probably wanted to play a few games themselves)!
Any updates 6 months on regarding your impressions? Do you still think it was worth all the $$$ and delivery hassle?
I am SURE they do that all the time. I didn’t even think about bribing them because I don’t want to “reward” them for stupid behavior lol.
I just wrote bad reviews to add on to other bad reviews that already existed. TFORCE freight really truly is the worst delivery company. I sure hope megacade don’t use them at all anymore. I wonder what other freight companies are good!
We still love the megacade. It’s amazing and at this moment, my husband is tinkling around with it adding cool backgrounds to clone hero games and whatever he’s doing to the pinball games lol 😂 we have fun with it for sure!!!

About how long did it take for it to arrive after you officially ordered it?

Thank you!! The RGB lighting we got is actually from Costco 😂 and it comes with a remote. No fancy control boards haha
Have you run into any problems with the machine yet? Like glitches, buttons not working, screen freezing or certain games not working? Apparently these happen? I've had glitches happen to me and had to do some tweaking with the buttons since two of them stopped working all of a sudden. I guess the good thing about this is is I'm learning new things as I "fix" the problems.
Yeah we have, especially the screen freezing lol We haven’t fully configured for all the games to work yet so Zach is doing all that stuff this weekend! We definitely have a lot to learn!

I think tforce freight isn’t a great company at all. I’m not sure if it’s a Washington thing or what lol.
In the end though, We rather have him drop it off there, rather than him leaving with it and us having to pick it up.
Does this have Colecovision games on it? If so can you play games like Mousetrap? Mousetrap used the numbered keypad to open and close doors.

@@xolivi yeah the Colecovision had a few games that had overlay sleeves that went into the keypad. I’m guessing you can map the arcade buttons to control the numbers that would be on the Colecovision controller. Let me know if you do check out Mousetrap on your unit. It was such a fun game.
That's a cool idea with putting the monitor on the top instead of getting the LCD marquee for a million $$. What kind of monitor is that? I'm getting an arcade from the arcade guys and wouldn't mind doing something like that.

The megacade is not an Amazon package. With something that large you are dealing with a freight order and your private road could be a limited access accessorial. My guess is megacade deals with the freight company and they don't want to pay extra fees. I could be wrong(I don't have the BOL to know) but food for thought.
I know the megacade isn’t an amazon package. And no, it’s their own freight policy apparently. Our road is huge and trucks way bigger than that have been to our road/driveway with turnaround. The neighborhood one street over he stopped at was smaller area. They are just a terrible company to deal with. 2 no shows, no communication, and then that.
There’s zero excuse for the way this driver did them. Zero.

You can definitely put the tv on top as part of the machine itself. Feel free to pay an extra $1000+ for that if that’s what you’d like.
