Hey! They tend to be pretty sensitive about pH. The yellow leaves is chlorosis, typically from an iron deficiency and too high of pH. I’ve got a big tree growing at 35% and when I don’t water it enough, it droops, but that leaf chlorosis is related to pH. Target 5.5pH and use organic fertilizer. They’re a fast growing super leafy plant so their nitrogen and iron needs are high.

Very interesting experiment! I was surprised how quickly they sprouted and grew so tall.

Those first two leaves are called cotyledons.
They sustain the sprout until it can feed itself.
That´s why they are so thick.

I love that kind of content! Do you have in mind to grow real vanilla orchid? It's vanilla planifolia and it has to be polinated by hand to get the vanilla pods. It's fascinating.

What do you do with all your plants? Do they just hang out in that grow spot and you kinda chill in there and nerd out with em? I’m not teasing or anything, I do the same with my little “aquarium room”. Just curious what do you end up doing with them all especially since it seems a lot of yours are like exotic or what not.

You should actually be able to. As long as you live in a place that stays hot enough year round. Only thing is the lemons won’t be identical to the fruit you got them from. I would recommend just buying a tree so you know your fruit will be good quality.
