Kampung life, Malaysia's best kept secret. I moved back to my kampung in Perak since the pandemic started, and appreciating the slow pace and non stress living after living in KL for 20 years, folks are much more easy going and friendly, cost of living is sooo cheap which helps during this pandemic, and makes me reassess my priorities, that money is not the most important thing in life.

First of all hats off to Spencer she surely has learned a lot for almost a year there. When she mentioned bungalow 😅 totally very different type of what I have in mind. Really salute her, I’m as a local couldn’t stand living in this kind of place how spoiled I am and I think many Malaysians especially the younger generations have no idea of living with very less facilities. I wish I could be like her 😢
Ken, you who like nature, would want to stay in such a place if you were given a chance, right? It's so peaceful. Great and interesting content, loved watching. Welcome to Perlis and happy exploring. Am waiting eagerly for your vlogs to see those hidden gems in this smallest state.
Ouuuhhh nice, super love what Spencer is doing!!! Is there any information on the brand their rice is sold under? Sounds like a great initiative and loved how she explained the benefits of organic farming, bacteria composition and gut benefits. Her Malay is pretty smooth too, very impressive!
I like this so much, I rewatched it a few times at one go 🤣🙈 I think aside from health benefits of organic rice farming as mentioned in this video, if you were to do commercial farming in a location like this surrounded by nature and so close to the natural environment, you would be ruining nature and ruining the soil we are blessed with. Although like Spencer has mentioned it, organic farming is much more expensive right now, but it is not just a price we pay for health but it is also a price we pay for the responsibility to our land. Especially appreciate how they think of and try to lower prices so that organically grown rice can also be afforded by more people. Just a huge appreciation to all these special people (this farm and even miin house camp) we have seen through Ken and Jetlag Warriors' channel so far. Glad we have so many talented Malaysians so knowledgeable and working hard to create more sustainable efforts within the country 💪💯
Steve is right 😂 Ken's spicy tolerance is -5. He's picking up all those choking heat from sweet chilli sauce which our Malaysian tongues and throats are numbed to 😂😂😂

Haha when I was young we usually catch chickens with a group of my cousins and friends. We would form a circle and kurung the chickens see who can catch them, its more like a game for us. And whoever catches the chicken can have the drumstick as the prize. Ahh memories of childhood kampung life. Also remembered when rivers used to be clear and can see fishes swimming in it. Bungalow in western countries like US and Australia mean very different thing from when Malaysian say bungalow!
Bungalow is define as a detached house normally a single storey. Rich Malaysians had corrupted it as a luxurious detached house with multiple storeys
