Ken! What I watch is almost all your UA-cam videos in Malaysia, you are more enthusiastic about the atmosphere around or about local food when you are with a friend or group than you alone!👍 Take care💖
The vibe of the 3 of them is very good but they blunder along as foreigners which is amusing but frustrating. Ken alone with local hosts gets the inside scoop better so we share the insights and the chemistry with “Assam Girl” is simply tantalizing!

About 20 years ago, I visited some friends working in Perlis and they even cross over to Thai just to have lunch! And I remembered once we pass through Malaysia immigration by hand gesture only! Well those were the days
Perlis one of the most beautiful state in Malaysia 😍 Really wish to go there some other time. Thank you Ken for the video you had enlightened most amazing places in Perlis.
Haha...Thailand is just a walking distance away so one can find a lot of Thai food/ clothings/fruits/ cooking utensils in Padang Besar. I used to visit my sister in law who stays there. Before the pandemic, this town was far more bustling, it was packed like sardine. Great that you finally found your favourite football team t-shirt. RM50 for 2 t- shirts was reasonable. I loved the entire video from start to finish. Thanks for the interesting tour.
Thailand produce a lot of football jersey from many club in the world, that where Malaysian bought their football jersey. So many selections. Even Jersey for Malaysia national team and Malaysian League Clubs made by Thailand company
Just a hint: we have a common time all over Malaysia. Sabah and Sarawak share the same time as the Peninsula although being situated further East ie + 1 hour. Just like Manila or Hong Kong.
Ken, the boy actually said 'DUA PULUH LIMA' (25), but afterwards Ivana might have misheard him and she said 'TIGA PULUH LIMA' (35)... Ivana increased the price instead.... :D

2:20 The border areas next to Perlis (Setul and Thai-held Kubang Pasu en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_of_Kubang_Pasu_Darul_Qiyam), as well as Perlis itself, used to be part of Kedah till the early 19th century. Siam, as the aspirational colonial power at the time, split Kedah up into these 4 entities to prevent opposition against Siamese power. In the Anglo-siamese treaty of 1909 between Siam and the British (but with no representation from the Kedah Sultan or subordinate regents assigned to the other sub-kedah districts), Kedah-proper and Perlis were retained in Malaya, but th two other districts were left behind in Siam.
Speaking of car plates, your car is J, from Johor. The car was registered in the Southernmost state of Malaysia and is now in the Northernmost state of Malaysia!
my mum's side is from Perlis but now we live in another part of Malaysia, and yes my mum and grandma would drive all the way to Padang Besar, Perlis and go to the famous market there just to get the best ingredients to make our family's traditional food.
Hi Ken! So happy for you that you finally found your jersey.👏👏 Looks like it's been waiting for this 'mat salleh' for seven years to buy it off together with his supportive friend 😆👍👍
Guys , actually the seller said that the jersey price RM 25 for 1 item . But you guys misunderstood it for RM35 but at the end still manage to get Rm 25 for 2 pieces. Still a good deal .👍👍👍
Some of the jersey from other clubs also patterns from fews years ago. I think the pattern for Werder Bremen only from 2013/2014 season and not the latest season because of the performance in Bundesliga. If clubs perform well then jersey maker will produce that pattern.
I remembered Werder Bremen was a quite popular team shirt to be sell in our local markets (border markets) when Miroslav Klose still playing there. Nowadays it's probably rare. I am shocked that lot of shops didn't have the National Germany jersey though, they have quite big followers among the local football supporters.

We used to walked there at the Border( from Malaysia to Thailand ) when there is no Train available , we walked ? so we stop at the Boarder at the Immigration for Visa stamp. On The other side is thailand there is a Bus there going to Clock tower that is Hatyai. If Im not mistaken the transportation from Boarder to Hatyai is just 25.00 baht. From Malaysi border going to Hatyai thailand via Bus is 1 hr and 30 mins ride for 25.00 baht. Only few foreigners knows that.
The reason for the difference in time zone between Thailand and Malaysia is due to Malaysia using Borneo (Sabah & Sarawak time zone) time zone for the whole country. The time zone change was done back in the 80s. I remember vividly watching the time change on the prime national news back then. It benefits economically because Malaysia can open roughly the same time as Japan.
Great vlog Ken as always!!! 🙌🏽💪🏽. I'm glad that you have found the Werder Bremen's jersey 😃👏🏽, Must be one of a great souvenir that you can buy from Perlis 😍💛💙. Keep it up Bro! #TeamAbroad
