Imagine speding 6k USD on a receiver that doesn't have HDMI 2.1 :')

A good portion of the world doesn’t need HDMI 2.1. There’s very few projectors that are even capable and you can always ARC back to the AVR from the TV if this is something the customer has to have.
Everything movies, music and TV don’t need and won’t need 2.1 for a long time.
So how many people really have gaming PC’s or game consoles running through their systems.

This is all true, you can directly connect a console (which is the only reason you need 2.1 for now) directly to your TV and use the EARC channel. However current Dolby Vision already supports 12bit and panels will arrive within the next few years. And when that happens the resell value of this product will be terrible. the class D modules in this are also the outdated UCD models, no ncore-X or purifi. Add this all up and it's a pretty bad deal for the price they are asking for it. Better off buying something like a Marantz cinema 30. @@Dreamediaav

@@DreamediaavI had a PS5 and a 4090 equipped pc going through my Trinnov and PerListen system before I sold off my system. The lack of it on Trinnov and some of the quirks it experienced with eARC could really kill immersion at times. It’s relevant, it matters. The next generation of buyers need these features. Now then, I am excited about the SP35 which will have it.
