  • It can feel like crazy making when other people say they don’t see your child’s anxiety or OCD. It can make you feel as if you are to blame. What are you doing wrong that they struggle with OCD or anxiety around you? The truth is - this is common. Kids don’t often mask as much when they are home. They feel safe to show you their struggles. They feel safe to crumble when they are overwhelmed with OCD or anxiety. It doesn’t mean they are manipulating you. It doesn’t mean they can do it in other places, so they should be able to do it at home too. It means they have a safe place to show all their true struggles.
