in truth if you somehow convince your mind that the skill is a necessity learning and retention becomes easier. if your mind believes that without the skill it is a risk to your survival the motivation to learn the skill even goes up
Vanidy - vanity - I didn’t know the word was misspelled and googled it, where it said it was a typo. But I had already written it down with a "d" on paper. Now I’ve corrected it, and I wish you all could see it-point number 6 couldn’t have stuck with me better. I think there’s a little genius behind this video creator...Best regards from Switzerland-Swiss German is my native language. ♥
Great video, I had to laugh when you misspelled vanity after you talked about perfection, I suspect that you did it to invite comments. Keep up the good work. 🏆
I’m the Obsessive 😮 and I push til I hurt myself and I’m vanity this has stopped me from learning something new and I didn’t enjoy being in the moment 😊 This is a good description ❤” Thank you for the insight.
The irony of spelling "Vanity" wrong when explaining don't be afraid to look bad and make mistakes. I often wonder how people can go without seeing things over and over in life like Vanity magazine covers. Thanks for this video -well done! I'll be gidding rich before too long with its instruction. ;)
It’s a refreshing reminder that mastery is not about shortcuts, but about a journey of self-discipline, growth, and deep focus. This perspective has given me a new lens through which to view my own efforts. Keep up the amazing content!"
Thank you very much for this video❤. I didn't know that my problem was called perfectionism until after you told your story about it. I had the same exact problem but in just a different situation. My situation is in making a research paper for our school with me as the leader of 4 members. I didn't know that my standards were so high because I use my work quality as the standard. I actually call my work as high quality while my members' are medium quality. Based on your video, this means that I should lower my standards which will result into a quality of our research paper that I won't like. However, we will be able to finish it and be happy about it if I lowered my standards. Therefore, thank you very much because you just changed my life with this realization. If you ever get discouraged in life, always remember that your work here in UA-cam change lives. Thank you very much again❤❤.
The only but I've found is in the selection of the word "hacker" for one of the personality types. The book, as this week structured video shows, must be worth reading. Thanks for it. You've got a new subscriber
Winning IS everything. What people get wrong is that they ASSUME this means there’s a winner and a loser. Instead, it means find the win-win scenario not the win-lose scenario. If you think win-lose, you don’t understand what Coach Lombardi meant.
I think there is a fourth type of person. The one that doesn't want to learn. The one that doesn't have the patience, or desire, who doesn't begin, in the first place.
For mastery you must cast a shadow over your old self in such a way that it never existed, in such a way that you have never forgotten, in such a way you were reborn that very morning. See you at the top of the next mountain crowd 😊🧘♂️
Thanks for sharing some practical lessons if you quit halfway through, you'll never master anything. Even if you make it through halfway the course, there are even more challenges (plateau) that you need to overcome over time. Those who persisted will achieved something and able to master the skills of the trade needed. An interesting video and lessons to be learned from it, I say if you're teaching about something to others and make sure you are able to retain most of them without quitting then finished running the race together. We all started as a Dabber and then become obsessive in things in we do and finally become a hacker for the day and stay forever in the comfort zone. Homeostasis is keeping things familiar and refused to change and what we need to do to change them (3 factors to consider). Finally, the 10 challenges or factors that you need to know and do in order to achieve the things or dreams (you need to tackle and overcome the obstacles that comes along the way). Let us strife to leave a legacy behind for others to follow even if there is no public recognition for the works done.
Another simple way! Every day try to learn something only one thing. Think all the things you can learn in a year and so on. One more this takes a little longer. Try to unlearn and get rid of bad habits. One every month! You get the idea of what you can be in a few years ✌🏻👽
I'm really thankful for this video. I remember a time when I was homeless and facing many challenges in life. Then things turned around when I started earning $75,000 every two weeks. My life changed from having nothing to being able to offer something good to the world.
Just a correction to LITTLE BIT BETTER; Your video had a mistake and was left in the final edit..#9 was presented as #7 for the second time. ( 15:54 & 18:03 ) Also; #6 is spelled "Vanity" with a T, not a D ( 15:14 )

@@littlebitbetter7 Good to see the correction from these comments. I really thought that there was such a word considering my high expectation of reliability on the content of your video.
I looked it up to check myself. I think it fits in nicely with the content of the vidoe. Presenting people with an opportunity to catch mistakes makes them think…what a gift.
Oh, I know that feeling! 😂 I push myself, push. Come on, come on! It's like a resistance building up inside you. It has to finish now. And then, take a break... and return after 2 or 6 months, with new energy. Well, this video explains the loop. Thank you!
I found the breakdown of learner types interesting, but I was disappointed that there wasn't a specific approach or focus for dealing with each. - missed opportunity or did I miss the point? Also, I actually straddled two types with periods of both. Still, lots of value in helping people with motivation and persisting here. - Thanks

New to the channel but this is great information
So true how the result gets the applause, not the effort , process behind that result.
11:57 "But you also need to stop, look back, and improve with every iteration..." Spoken like an experienced project manager.
Man this is great stuff, love the way you communicate the information.👍
Honestly, your whole videos, serves me as a lesson because I really learn more with you than at school.
Thank you. Out of all the reviews Iv listened to yours are the most informative and easy to listen to.

Yep, we made a mistake there. Noticed it just before uploading the video, but decided NOT to fix. To me done (published) is better than perfect.
