I’ve come back to this video a couple times in the last few months and I think I keep doing it because it just hits somewhere inside of me of a place I know is no more. I miss this game so bad, out of all the games I played as a kid this was the one I was obsessed with. My dad’s weed dealer would make levels and he introduced me, as well as my father to this game. He actually made some awesome factory levels and other cool platformers that I swore could’ve been in the story mode. Anyways I ended up getting an old copy of lbp1 for free from him and when lbp2 was released my dad surprised me with a copy when he came home and I played that game for so long. Out of all the games I’ve played in my life this game has such a special place In my heart. Shout out to my father and his old weed dealer. If it wasn’t for him I probably wouldn’t feel the same about this game. I would also like to say thank you to glitchmaster7 of corse for all the guidance and videos you made throughout the years. Knowing about your Chanel taught me a lot of cool shit I was able to show my friends and blow their minds with random stuff. What a beautiful game, to be able to create and share that creativity with others. From expressing yourself through dressing up your sack person, to decorating a flying space ship that gets you where you need to go. I still enjoy the psp as well as the ps3 versions of the game but it’s not the same without people. Thank you glitchmaster7 for all the memories that were created because of your channel and connections that would help you make awesome content for this game. You may not see it this way but I’m sure you’ve effected a lot of peoples playing experiences because of the cool stuff you showed. You brought an extra layer to lbp before lbp3! lol. Simple solution. Don't play the crappy new levels, play LBP1 levels, or levels with the lbp1 style. get the lbp1 pod background, get the PS3 Sackboy and voila! Hopefully it won't feel as soulless.
I have the Europe LittleBigPlanet 1, I’ve had it since the day it come out in stores in the UK. I remember spending like 5-6 minutes every time I went to play the game just staring at the art inside the box. Odd but just one of them things
God I swear I could smell the case when you opened LBP1... it's such a shame I only just got back into the games after years of not playing them, now that 1 and 2 are offline. Here's hoping for a bright future though, Sackboy was a wonderful game!

Yeah it’s pretty rare DLC as well because most of it has been delisted. The only DLC that’s impossible to get, even by buying special editions of LBP 1/2 is the OG Marvel Packs from LBP 1.

Tbh, Sackboy: A Big Adventure is getting too much hate. It is such a good, intense, magical and amazing game. It inserts absurdism which is something I love (absurdism is a type of theatre where all hope is eventually lost and the protagonists fall into despair). I personally love it :)

Well, with every LBP I don't mean every Japanese and GOTY titles and stuff. But I had LBP, LBP2, LBP3, LBP Vita, LBP Karting, Run Sackboy, Run! (if you count that) and Sackboy: A New Adventure
Little big planet was my introduction to PlayStation, I remember my dad got me a PSP and with it, a copy of little big planet. I played through that game a lot as a kid, and I even messed around with the level creator. I didn’t play the game online tho. And later on, my dad got us a PS3 and little big planet 2, I played that game a lot, I even played a bit online. I played it with a friend of mine, we both loved little big planet. I later got the other games, except for the vita version because I don’t have a vita. I wish Sony would just give us a remastered collection of the trilogy, or just a new game. Little big planet doesn’t deserve to die, it is a vital part of PlayStation in my opinion. (Sonys family friendly IPs deserve more love in general) I don’t know what is going on in Sonys head nowadays, but they need to get their shtick together.

he means that when LBP2 came out, it was bundled with Prehistoric Moves. Prehistoric Moves uses the Move Controller, but Move Controller functionality was not added until Move Pack came out.

My brother had a PS3 and LBP and LBP2. I had so much fun when I realised LBP Game of the year edition worked (He had that too). But i got scared at one of the icons and stopped playing. I regretted that decision when he sold his PS3.
(Not so) Fun Fact: The LBP2:SE bonus DLC was specific to the disc, not the PS3 or PSN account. So, if you lost your SE disc, you lost the ability to access any of your levels, objects or costumes using the DLC. Guess how I found that out...
In the next weeks i will turn 17 and tbh i Could cry now. Man the Minecraft on the ps3, the lbp 1/2 - all these games from back then… i want to be a kid again- just for a few weeks..

As someone who lives in the US, I specifically remember holding a European case for the game. I didn't know it was the European case, and I don't remember where it came from but I had it at one point. I always grew up with GOTY edition though. Such good memories...
I've been wanting to check out the LBP Vita Marvel Edition since you can no longer purchase the DLC packs it advertises. Problem is I don't know if it's built in or if it uses the download codes.... probably the latter

So much memories man. Whenever I get on LBP3 now I get a feeling of emptiness which is a feeling I never got before in LBP.

Nowadays, you could use the Move functionality, even if you didn't have Move Pack, just no painting and Move Pack Logic

Sold my ps3 years ago and my entire game collection. But I will always keep my copies of LBP1&2, they're both original european releases though I've probably lost the spaceman costume forever cause I didn't know how emails worked then 😅

It's strange that I had the manuals in parts 1 and 2 of the LBP (Europe) printed in plain black and white.
I have the European regular LBP, and the European Game Of The Year Edition LBP, and i gotta say that disc for the regular US version looks better than what i have in my opinion.
I think the eu manuals might be thin because some countries releases have to have multiple languages in them. Mine being the nordic one has four!

As someone who lives in the US, I specifically remember holding a European case for the game. I didn't know it was the European case, and I don't remember where it came from but I had it at one point. I always grew up with GOTY edition though. Such good memories...

I've been wanting to check out the LBP Vita Marvel Edition since you can no longer purchase the DLC packs it advertises. Problem is I don't know if it's built in or if it uses the download codes.... probably the latter
You forgot one! There was one Game of the Year edition that was in the red box! Maybe just me though because I got mine pre-owned.
