that's a jackshaft meant to change your gear ratio for more torque or speed with different-sized gears. the bike turned out great. that exhaust pipe is ridiculous though this one on Amazon would look great on that bike. LOSTAR 1" Go Kart Exhaust With Screw On Muffler For Predator 212cc/Clone 196cc Engines. Great video thanks for sharing your build
Nice job. Looks good. I think it's one of the Baja bikes (??), maybe a Warrior? The Ghost is a pretty good engine choice. They have better than stock torque from the 252 lift cam and slide carb. If running properly it should be a 45 MPH bike if not 50. Unfortunately, you will not be able to use all of its power (and RPM) with the current gearing with the torque converter. They have an RPM limiting coil but you'll never see the 6K RPM limiter. It would have more power with a better carb. It's best to be sure the pulleys on the torque converter are aligned properly. It looks like you need another washer for the driver side. I use a straight edge on the back of the pulleys to check alignment. Not easy to get it perfect but just get it close. Better alignment means longer belt life and less power is lost to friction. Have you tried the curved intake for the carb after the engine riser was on? They are nice for tucking the carb tighter to the bike. If you get a new pipe you should try to use the muffler you have. Those are nice and will take the edge off of the header noise. My last impulse buy was for the Predator 224, and I just had to build it. Didn't even need it but I have it. haha.

thanks for the info and yeah not a fan of the exhaust considering I burnt myself pretty bad on it haha

Cool. I'm Working on a Mini jeep build. been thinking about this engine.
@@MisfitMania1971 do it, probably a better application for this engine than what I did. I’m terrified of this bike
Looks like it might be fake patina, some people try to imitate that. Make sure that the carburetor is lining up with the intake adapter.
