Have walked the North Norfolk LDP but in my opinion the Inland leg is not worth bothering about . The coast walk is the best and only stretch worth walking

If you're a prepper there's nothing to stop you knocking your favourite mixes up, vacuum sealing in portions and adding enough of the _Tip N Zip_ bags to cook them in. Subscribed and thanks for uploading!
At last someone else using tip and zip. I’ve been using for years usually with wet food tins of curry etc as a boil in the bag. Also have a look for pour and store bags exactly the same. Great video just subbed.

I made a cosy for my meals. We normally use a dehydrator but we buy a lot of stuff like that for when we go out for the day. Great ideas though another informative video. Very helpfull I never buy the mountain house meals far to expensive. Plus making your own you can put as much as you like. Breakfast I just buy the pots of porridge 3 for a pound. And put them in bags like you used. At mo

That big bag of porridge oats I showed was just under £1. The big bags of muesli and granola under £2 each. The Bolognese meat, easy 4 potions, £1 per pack and the mash 50p per pack and easy two portions per bag. It's crazy, you can buy loads of off the shelf ingredients for very little outlay and make many, many meal's at such a fraction of the price of these ready packed things. And these new zip bags I've come across are absolutely fantastic 😊 ATB Dave

Guys: just tried angle delight, cold water and milk powder. Brilliant and all in cost under a pound sterling and weighed next to nothing in dry state 😊😊

Your more than welcome happy to help. Hadrian's Wall? You'll love it, been there, done it, vid on channel. Food is not a problem on this walk apart from can be expensive as a tourist trap. Depending on how your attacking the walk, BB, Hostel, camp site, wild camp? Couple of these bags made up for breakfast, dinner, tea or trail mix for each or every other day will see you right as their so light when un constituted. good vid, you're right, the pre-made camping meals are a right rip off so just looking at the component parts and combining them yourself is a smart way to do it cheaper
Those bags you get from wilko. They are great. They have a pleat in the base to make them wider so you can stand them up while you decant whatever into them and also can be used in the microwave/boiling water to reheat. In wilko they are called "reusable pour and store bags" What could be nicer and if 2 of you are travelling. Put the potato in 1 bag , the soya in another. Add the hot water, stir, then share the contents between the pair of you. I only say this as it looks like in the video a bit of a mushed up paste. Of course taste is the same but you do eat with your eyes as well :)

Great video, I do a similar thing I cant understand when people buy these ready made meals its very expensive. The way you did it is much cheaper I also take pot noodles but put them in bags they take up less room then.

Hi again Glenn and thanks for watching. Most budget shops have them. I use them all the time they're so versatile it's amazing. They take both hot (boiling) and cold fluids, milk, water and are even microwavable. Brilliant 👍 ATB Dave
Check out Soy mince, you can get it from Amazon, three bags £11, lightweight, healthy and full of protein. Make chilli con carne with a sachet of tomato cup a soup, some dried vegatables(also from Amazon a mixed bag) and some soy mince. Lightweight and nutritious. (do have to boil for about 5 minutes)

Hi there and thanks for watching and comments much appreciated. I believe your asking if you can poor hot (boiling) water directly into the bag so as to rehydrate and heat it up? The answer is yes and their fantastic for that. You can also use cold water if you wish to 'cold soke' so as to have a meal ready for future, over night, readyness and therein avoid cooking thus saving time. This method usually involves, oats, musly or even to reconstitute milk powder and the like. These bags are designed to take boiling as well as cold water. Their also microwave compatible. Packet of ready porridge contains some sort of anti-coagulant as I tried the very same thing a few years ago by electric blending normal porridge and when I put hot water with it, it went lumpy and wouldn't mix. I tried it on the basis that the smaller the particles the quicker it would cook, big fail. Thanks for the vid and research as it is straight up my street as I am always looking for new ideas.

Would like to add, Nestle Nido Instant Full Cream Milk Powder is bloody gorgeous, real milk like I used to fight my brother for the cream off top of the pint, unfortunately is contains 17,6 % saturated fat which is great for energy but unfortunately and very sadly is not good for my heart condition, O well I can still manage to climb a hill, but seriously it some some lovely tasting milk or should I say CREAM.

Im a big fan of doing this too👍 Have you tried Nido Powdered Milk- its great as its full fat whole milk, much tastier than what you find in UK supermarkets, its often in the world food shops or online. you've given me an idea, baby food wheat rusks but ground up, I eat them for breakfast anyway so taste good but super lightweight and compact, cheers!

Packet of ready porridge contains some sort of anti-coagulant as I tried the very same thing a few years ago by electric blending normal porridge and when I put hot water with it, it went lumpy and wouldn't mix. I tried it on the basis that the smaller the particles the quicker it would cook, big fail. Thanks for the vid and research as it is straight up my street as I am always looking for new ideas.

I always use them zip n tip, or pour n store bags, I use crushed up pot noodles and pot rice's in them, cheap as chips marra.

Would like to add, Nestle Nido Instant Full Cream Milk Powder is bloody gorgeous, real milk like I used to fight my brother for the cream off top of the pint, unfortunately is contains 17,6 % saturated fat which is great for energy but unfortunately and very sadly is not good for my heart condition, O well I can still manage to climb a hill, but seriously it some some lovely tasting milk or should I say CREAM.
Those were the days you had cream on milk. Unigate had gold top milk used to love that with cream soda 👍 thanks for watching and comments ATB Dave.

Im a big fan of doing this too👍 Have you tried Nido Powdered Milk- its great as its full fat whole milk, much tastier than what you find in UK supermarkets, its often in the world food shops or online. Also check this out- freeze dried rice- highly recommended. A kilo goes a long way- just add hot water.
