The process from start to finish. Years of work in a one hour video. There is a video series that covers the whole process: • 1901 Guitar Restoration Enjoy!

Buenas Chimo.
Wonderful - I've been waiting for this the whole time....Now 1:01:13 later, I would like to say thank you for the work and the documentation. It always makes me very happy when I see people doing something with care and passion. And the music is always worth it.
Great video, true craftsmanship! What are the rod clamps called and where do buy them from? The very thin glue (superglue) ? What’s it called Thank you regards Steve
Buona domanda! Grazie mille
Thanks for sharing, there's a lot to learn from your documentation. I appreciate the obvious respect you pay to this instrument shining through each single process step.
That was a constant during the process. This kind of videos may work in UA-cam, but the payment is the lack of profound explanation of what the Casasnovas brothers acheived with their instruments, how well made they were. Yes, there is a profound respect indeed. Thanks for note it.
I am in the process of restoring 3 guitars from the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. One a Brazilian Rosewood Washburn and one with a solid oak top , bottom and sides. I really appreciate your videos for ideas. Thanks
Masterful work. The respect you showed this instrument is a beautiful thing. Question: Do you use hide glue for all of your work or on a case by case basis? Regardless, hide glue was absolutely the right choice for this instrument - it needed to be put back together the way the original builder intended. Thank you for taking the time to capture this process and share it with us!
Thanks for your kind words. Everything is hide glue, yes. Because everything was glued with hide glue in the fisrt place. When the accident happend there was only hide glue in the orginal parts, only the various fixes were made with other stuff, mainly white glue. The glue used is not the Titebond stuff, though, is mixed in placed, to get a better result.

Thanks for watching!
@@AnjudaGuitars thanks for clearing that up. I like the idea of hide glue, especially on older instruments when that's what they used originally. I've seen videos of people fixing old guitars with title bond original, because it's easier to work with. My opinion if you're working on a quality or at least building a quality instrument. Every glued joint muted the wood to some degree, and hide glue isn't a adhesive like a wood glue, so there's a more like wood to wood contact. Again thanks for the information. I've been debating on setting myself up with hide glue melting pot etc. now I definitely will.
Some very annoying and much too long video where the camera was either too focused or filmed from completely the wrong angles. a bit of music here and there and that was it. Undoubtedly a professional, but I always say shoemaker stick to your last. It's a nice video if you can't sleep in the evening. Goodnight and sleep-well👋
You deserve the respect of all who cherish the value of the craftsman/artist.
And then some. This young lady and men are a miracle to stringed instruments ❤
You deserve the Nobel price for patience endurance and determination. Beautiful work. Very rewarding to see this beauty coming to life again!
I just wanted some recognition on UA-cam, but thanks!

Madrid is indeed a very dry place. Cracks and dried guitars are very common here. Thanks for your comment!
3 years in 60 minutes and I can still notice the huge amount of work you had to invest in this great project. Congrats on the results!!!
It really was a pain in the... Thanks David!
A tasteful balance between restoration, respect for the instrument, and respect for the maker. Kudos, she still sounds beautiful.
Thanks, that was kind of a mojo during the restoration.
Agua? Agua caliente? Algún solvente?
De ante mano gracias

Amazing attention to detail throughout!! Bravissimo!! If I may ask, what is the white cloth material you used? Cotton, or perhaps hemp??
ATTENTION TO DETAIL, OUTSTANDING! WELL DONE!!!😊
Absolutely beautiful instrument and Absolutely great job on it. Also very educational. Thank you for the magnificent video
Thanks for your kind words! Hope to see you around!

Grazie amico. La perseveranza ripaga. Spero che riuscirai a raggiungere ciò che ti sei prefissato.
Great job

Fantastic video thanks for compiling it
Thanks to you for watching!
Epic man! Well done, I thought sometimes when there were no videos, you'd given up. You stuck with it and brought it back from firewood.
Believe it or nort I´ve never thought about give up, even in the hardest moments. I did need time off sometimes, tough. Thanks for beign there!
I don't get it. What was "epic"??
¡Gran trabajo!

Thanks! My pleasure.

A wonderful job.
Are you crying while fixing it? I kinda hear you sob a little bit
Not crying... maybe I was just cold, I guess. I just cried when the accident happend. That was really a mess
Amazing guitar..😍😍
BRAVO!!
This is a total " feel good" video for me...l love saving old beautys and givin them a second chance on this harsh planet
👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
Qui trabálho mano
Bravo...😊😊😊
Meticulously Done. Magnifico!😊 Sounds Beautiful!
Love your work
Bravissimo!
What kind of glue did he use on these braces, I dont think he had the time to use hirse hide glue ehile working with the go to.
It is actually hide glue. If everything is prepared, there is no problem on using hide glue with the go to. There is plenty of time.

I hate when the phone decides what you're trying to type ( mutes the guitar) and ( tite bond original).
Way more patience than I can stand but the results speak for itself. She deserves to be heard.
❤👏
Profesor
Verry nice work 🎉🎉
Thank you!
A fantastic restoration, very well done.
Wow wow wow 😮amazing what you did
Maravilloso sonido
Muchas gracias!

awesome work
45:20 thats some legit craftsmanship
Thanks! That was just the tip of the oceberg, though
And how your soul was restored during the beautiful and patient task you performed! Gods blessing be upon you!
It was indeed. Knowing that such an instrument had disintegrated under my watch was a very heavy weight that I no longer have to carry.
Better use tight bond to put it back together lol
