Look at our quadrupole-indicted former president if you want to see the consequences of not calling out a liar in public life.
in the UK parliament, you can lie with impunity. you get kicked out for calling someone a liar even when proven, says it all doesnt it?
@@kanedNunableWe have the speech and debate clause, which protects members of Congress from a host of issues. I've been trying to keep an eye out for UK news because the similarities to what we're experiencing in the US are rather informative.
Listening to James destroy Fools is a simple pleasure
The caller has a lot of time on his hands, wish he'd come over to mine and help me with my housework instead of prattling on 🤣
Smiles! May I be second in the queue?
None of it would get done. He’d try to persuade you that work carried out in the house isn’t called housework. A rigorous investigation needs to be carried out first to see if work would be involved and whether your dwelling can be termed a ‘house’.
@@Knappa22hahahahahaha
Hopefully you would have some headphones to block out that prattling you would otherwise have to endure whilst being helped with the housework.
@@Knappa22 got it in one! 🤣🤣🤣
These people have a right to vote!
This is hilarious, thank you James for the entertainment and education.
James was talking to a Tory voter...which has recognised that his Party has been deplorable - but can't quite come to terms with his Party's utter lies and corruption...!!
Imagine living next door to that caller
We do live next door. I watch you coming out of the shower most nights
i get the idea he lives in a mansion so you wouldnt see him much ;)
@aidans34 cheeky torie no pictures please
@@aidans34😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
My rose garden would be thriving after he joined the french foreign legion or something I don't know all I know is he isn't living there any more.
The mental gymnastics is strong with this one.
"You know - there's a character limit on Twitter..." 🤣😂😅
This must be why it is banned for MPs to call each other liars in parliament, even when the person being called a liar is a proven liar.
Lol was waiting for the bit where James asks on a scale of 1 to 10 how do you feel this call went for you ? Gutted now lol
Bunch of liars, no other word for it, just who’s interests are they looking after.
this is just like top quality and well timed stand up comedy.
Anyone: The sun is hot
Caller: Well not necessarily!
What this guy saying to do about politicians is the very core problem of this political system…
Absolutely
"Can you give me an example?"
proceeds to give the original example.
Over here in Florida, US, we call em Republicans, and they're fine with being called that
I suggest you look at the state of American cities under the rule of Democrats before you comment.
@@flyboy747uk ..and I suggest you look at the red states, the welfare states.. Blue states are the only reason we have a positive GDP (and why James doesn't "debate" with bs.
@@flyboy747uk I live in the heavily Democratic Boston area, and we're doing great!
Someone needs to revive Monty Python to parody this.
This kind of ludicrous pretense that vague notions of manners are more important than calling out lying is that prehistoric.
Love James's smile here , a mix of delight and glee , more power to you sir !!
He got a live one.
You could replace 'liar' with 'betrayer' as he betrayed his own words and the public he gave that assurance to.
Betrayer gives the impression of some grand scheme whereby he had to jump through hoops and intellectually deceive.
He lied.
Also see Brexit.
That's more accurate, actually. Unless there's evidence of the lie.
Which is possible, they feel so untouchable that they don't mind admitting their crimes in writing or on video these days.
My party did it and I don't want them to look bad.
You've just systematically took him to pieces ,James , absolutely brilliant 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I hate this caller more than any of the others. What a waste of life, time and energy. Even in the context where someone lies on purpose, he thinks it's bad to call them a liar because HE *perceives* it as rude. He literally cares more about the label than the negative action that leads to the label. I hope his wife cheats on him. Maybe a forensic study will help him determine if the cheating was in bad faith or not.
RSPB: "We apologise for our 'Liars' comment."
The last line of their apology? “So, the framing of that tweet, where we called out individual people, we felt was incorrect and inappropriate, and we apologise for that.”
Remember when Dennis Skinner was told off for calling half the House crooks, and he amended the statement to half the House are NOT crooks? The RSPB do.
"We're sorry we called out individuals. We meant to say the government in its entirety are liars."
When people are more worried about politeness than people lying to them to their detriment.
I think this caller is going to need a chiropractor after the contortions he got himself into!
Some people in this country are absolutely off there heads no wonder the government can get away with pretty much anything
James & people like him we need
oh please, this is why we have problems...he's upset about people being called liars, pathetic, oh also they are Liars
