I had a humeral break midway between shoulder and elbow and they put a titanium rod in and it’s been fine since. Glad you seem to be on the mend! My Gracie misses me so much if I’m not home. I have an Apple Watch for that reason… I once fell when Gracie took off from a firework and I didn’t let go of the leash fast enough. I was out there for about 4 hours before someone came.
For my skin in this video, i just used some of the Caliray color corrector under my eyes and the Saie Slip Tint concealer on a spot basis on my face and also as an eyelid primer. And some of the RMS powder. Without any foundation. Usually I tend to use cream concealers if I am going to be skipping foundation, but these two products seem to be working well for me. it will be interesting to see if the three new super-expensive liquid concealers that i just ordered (Victoria Beckham, Westman Atelier and Sarah Creal) can outdo them! ❤
So good to have you back, Lisa! Poor dear!!❤ Update on the Augustinus Bader body cream that I was using to help the cellulite on my legs. I don’t think it did anything for my cellulite! It was very nice in general, but not worth the money, in my opinion. At least not for what I got it for. I used it religiously every day until I used it it up, and I did not notice any difference at all.
Hi Lisa~ Good grief~ what an episode! Hope you're right-handed! So happy to get this update on everything ~ we can always depend on you to be so thorough on new products and most important, their ingredients. Stick religiously with the Pt and you'll do well! Happy you are back!
The Apple Watch is fabulous. We gave one to my MIL and when she falls, if she doesn’t tell it that she’s okay, it sends an ambulance. It also texts all 3 of her children, so she feels more protected. She actually fell the other day, and when we got the text, we called the one sib who lives the closest and she answered the phone by saying “already on the way.” Highly, highly recommended.
Lisa what is your favourite foundation ? as i like you have very very sensitive skin and i am sick of wasting money now, would love to know your thoughts, thanks x
Hi Cathy. I've been working on a declutter-style video where i will briefly discuss all of the foundations that i have tried and so you may be interested in that one when it comes out. Here is a list of products that i have used frequently myself and that i think are generally good in terms of being less likely to cause irritation as well as performing well in general. Skin Tints: Hourglass Veil Hydrating Skin Tint ($49) Jane Iredale HydroPure Tinted Serum ($58) Pacifica Kind Tint ($14) Neutrogena Sensitive Skin Serum ($15) Rose Inc. Skin Enhance Tinted Serum ($49) Liquid Foundations: Chantecaille Future Skin Gel ($82) Chantecaille Just Skin SPF15 ($70) Haus Labs Triclone Foundation ($45) Makeup By Mario SurrealSkin ($42) Typology Tinted Serum ($38) Youthforia Date Night Skin Tint ($48) Powder Foundation: Natasha Denona Hy-Glam Powder Foundation ($55) Cream Foundations: Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick ($52) MOB Beauty Cream Foundation ($28) Westman Atelier Foundation Stick ($68) Cream Concealers: Bobbi Brown Skin Concealer Stick ($32) Jones Road The Face Pencil ($25) Merit The Minimalist Complexion Stick ($38) Tom Ford Traceless Concealer Stick ($60) Most of the time, I just use cream concealer or cream foundation on a spot basis on my face. I also like the Natasha Denona powder foundation. For liquid foundations providing more coverage, i like the Typology and Youthforia ones. i do mix those with moisturizer (the one from The Outset) to make them into more of a skin tint though. i really like the Makeup by Mario foundation in terms of its making me look younger (and did a whole video on that), but i don't know if everyone would be able to tolerate that one. Please report back on your experiences! ❤
Regarding that glossier lip liner that you had trouble sharpening… Do you have a metal cosmetic pencil sharpener? I had to get one for the Lisa Eldridge pencils. I got one super cheap at Sally beauty supply. The one I got is metal and made in Germany. Works great and only cost a few bucks!
So sorry about your accident. I think your idea of wearing an Apple Watch is life saving. A very dear friend just had an accident while wearing an Apple Watch and the paramedics found where she was and came immediately. Her son was notified and she was taken to the hospital. I think we need one!
Yeah! So good to see you . Ouch , it sounds bad . Take care and keep videos coming ! Thx Lisa! ❤an Apple Watch is a must buy esp with the dog walking !!! Get one!!!
Its so good to see you back making video's. I broke my humerus 20 yrs ago & know all the inconveniences in alot of daily life situations. Glad your on the mend. You turned me on to Mob beauty brand which I love. I also take a collagen powder daily in my tea. Along with 10 other vitamins/supplements. Take care of yourself.
This is the first of your video I’ve seen-the title caught my eye because I’m the same type. Your list of ingredients to avoid is very helpful as I didn’t know the names of all the sunscreen booster, but I do know they make me itch. Thanks!
i am so sorry to hear about that! i admit that I have been dubious about how a real all-mineral sunscreen could have that high of an SPF and still work on mature skin, but i did order it and so will see how it works on me. ❤
So happy you're loving the Brow Pencil ❤
That is the makeup product that i use the most often of everything that I have ever owned. It's great!!! ❤
Welcome back Lisa! ❤
Thanks so much!!! ❤
Yay!! Welcome back home ❤
Thanks so much, Sue!!! ❤

Oh that does sound scary! Definitely in the winter here that could be really dangerous. I will look into getting that watch. ❤
Lisa, are you wearing foundation? If so, which foundation are you wearing? Your skin looks so youthful!
For my skin in this video, i just used some of the Caliray color corrector under my eyes and the Saie Slip Tint concealer on a spot basis on my face and also as an eyelid primer. Happy to be back! Thanks much for reporting back on your experience with that cream. Cellulite is tough to get rid of with topicals, I guess. ❤
Yay! So glad you’re back ! I missed your videos. I’m so sorry to hear about your injury and wish you a speedy recovery.
Thank you so much Eva - I am very happy to be back! ❤
