I had the gift of sitting in ceremony with Huaira in Equador years ago where she sang that same song. It brought me back deeply in heart and spirit.💜 She is such a blessing.
I have to say, please let her speak ! So many time you cut her off at really interesting moments, frustrating at times when the wisdom being shared is so valuable!
I would have loved to listen to her without so many interruptions. I feel like Aubrey kept bringing it back to his own experience instead of just letting her tell her story in her own flow. I love Aubrey and his appreciation for her but I feel like we missed a chance to get to know her in her own flow. Her carrying native american wisdom and having walked the red path needed a different container: full presence and listening.
Ah I sat with Huaira in a few ceremonies in Ecuador when I lived and worked at Gaia Sagrada and did my first vq in the same lineage…gorgeous voice and energy 🙏

Wow the opening song has brought me back to remembrance. I just did my first ayahuasca retreat in Peru a month ago and have started to feel jaded being back in the normal life and returning to being a parent. This podcast and opening song is exactly what I needed in this moment. So much gratitude for this right now.
Dear Aubrey, I hope you read this personally. I want to thank you because through you I heard the first time of Soltara about 2 years ago. It took me some time to find the courage to go and just got back from Costa Rica. All my fears came true and also big parts of my hopes for healing. This was the hardest thing I ever did and I start to sense the healing coming from this big huge "purge". I felt so safe in this place which was super important to get me through the process. Thanks brother for spreading the word ! much love from Germany
Blessings , I was reading a book that suggested a practice of Huna Philosophy. So I wish to pass along much love and admiration for your work. With great warmth 🦋💫🌱🌹
would love to see midwives on the podcast! spiritual homebirth midwives. there is so much to be said about birth, limbic imprinting, quantum midwifery etc...
Wow!! Would you be willing to share a bit of what you know about limbic imprinting and quantum midwifery? I've never heard of these terms/concepts before!
"Birth Into Being" is a great film about limbic imprinting. And Whapio Barlett has a wealth of knowledge about quantum midwifery and the holistic stages of labor. Really, this topic goes too deep for a youtube comment, but a podcast interview with these women would be incredible. Rachelle with "Innate Traditions" is also a phenomenal traditional midwife whose focus is postpartum care and it's potential transformative effects on culture and healing generational and ancestral trauma.
Aho! ¡Qué hermoso momento! Me han inspirado a hacer mi búsqueda de visión. Gracias Huaira, qué honor conocer un poquito de ti y saber que eres tan cercana siendo mi compatriota. Thank you once again, Aubrey!
... It is beautiful to see a beautiful person on the medicine path.... Terence McKenna said that ritual is a substitute for understanding... my Lakota Medicine Man friend, red hail, said that the sweat lodge was originally designed to get physically clean.
Aubrey TY for giving me this op too meet Hauira She is a special soul as is yours I found you through Blu who I love very much. Enjoying everything you guys share TY so much.❤️🙏🐦
The red path is spread around Latinoamérica , and it's really beautiful to see how a lot of people is still choosing that design of whisdom. Aubrey I really like how you host , thanks for all these interviews , I love that Matías and you have become friends .
Well, she has amazing wisdom to share, I'm just dissapointed with how much Aubrey interrupts (and shares his own stories), even subtly, unconsciously dominating in this particular interview. He's usually quite good with not doing this with his guests, and I get they are personal friends so it naturally tends toward the more conversational, but her wisdom is exceptional and worth being still and LISTENING to, receiving in the heart and body before reacting, thinking, speaking. This is deep indigenous wisdom and medicine that Aubrey needs to take in with an exceptional guest, teacher like this. In medicine circle, we would never behave in this way, and its a disservice to her lineage teachings that he is treating this as a regular discussion as opposed to medicine circle teachings, or even a humble interview. Her song sets up the sacred space. Alas, so many times I found myself wanting to hear her finish her ideas but Aubrey interrupts to interject or ask a question and the conversation veers and the idea is never finished. Please be careful about this, interviewers!! You certainly have the capacity to wait till your guest finishes their idea, a few sentences, before asking your question or for clarification - the audience may be familiar with these practices and therefore not at all as confused as you, and hungry for the medicine being shared. When we are speaking about lineage traditions, we are also speaking about the quality and WAY the information is transmitted and received - Aubrey needs to be more sensitive to non-American, non-Western, more indigenous modes of patient receiving and exchange, of deep silence. This is literally one of the most important distinctions between culturally indigenous and Westernised societies, a difference that our friend has yet to integrate. Much respect to your many excellent interviews none the less.
Personally I saw Aubrey as a shepherd in this conversation, really gently guiding and inviting and providing a structure for her wisdom to be carried within.
Interesting! I did like the general places he brought the interview later on (all that long-winded gushing in the beginning was personally tiresome to me, but ok, if you must) but he cut her off a great many times so I'm surprised when someone either doesn't notice that or isn't bothered by it.
I was super annoyed too! I was like omg, l need to listen to HER, aubrey talks all the time this time was a good time to be quiet and let talk. It was not a pleasant interview like his other ones. Totally agree. It was like he wanted to impart his own 'wisdom' almost like competing. Didnt like it at allll.
150% he really comes across as a screaming ego...look at me I have done iboga & sat in the darkness..blah blah. Yeah we get it you are great dude but this woman has a lot to share & you just yap like a typical Yankee all interview long. Yes sure we shouldnt be judgmental just can't help myself here as he is begging for it. Silence is golden didn't you learn that in the darkness.

Such a different vibration compared with the conversation(s) with Vylana. This woman doesn't put on a mask or give off false laughs. Thank you for this truly beautiful and authentic human 🙏
@@ybyb4830 I would take into account the context. I have been living in spiritual communities in asia and latin america for the past 8 years. There are so many of these people in these communities. @@r.v.k.6932 yes, absolutely. I was getting so irritated and annoyed I had to stop and could not continue after the first ten or fifteen minutes or whatever it was after her song!! He was diverting the opportunity for beautiful and very valuable perspective and information to flow out and completely steering the landscape to really disruptive and undesirable content and ideas. It was like experiencing the pollution and degradation of a majestic place we could have visited. It’s like the harmful repeat offenses of colonialism with its small and limited as well as unwanted framework and perspective!
I am so loving this conversation, but I wanted to share something that is near and dear to my heart, a little off topic. I am friends with many Jews and know that for most of them, hearing the name of God pronounced is difficult, even offensive. I am personally not offended by hearing it, but I know that you are all very respectful of people's traditions and especially what is sacred, as am I. What I was thinking as well!! Usually he's not too bad and has very interesting or intelligent things to share when he does interject, but in this case it completely affected the quality of the interview and transmission and did not provide any benefiy to the listener.
The deep betrayal is ongoing. It's not historical. Dig into settler colonialism and you'll find the answers you're seeking here, Aubrey. Much respect to you.
