If you slowly practice each swing and stand you'll see they implemented some HEMA techniques.
Especially visible with a spear in overhead stance.

@@zishuredi3908 I think the meta changed. Flailing your weapons around drains your stamina and reduces your aim.

Yeah currently I do my best to practice strikes or at least make each attempt. Obviously they don't wanna let you do that though.
My biggest recommendation is to not swing like, fast. Swing slow. You’ll find that it hits all the same.
