- This 2 Cheese Asparagus Tart recipe is best with baby asparagus when in season but can easily be made any time of the year. When using regular asparagus I like to use the thinnest stalks I can find. This Asparagus tart is incredible tasting with hints of garlic and fresh parmesan cheese and it looks so darn impressive. It makes the perfect appetizer or side dish at gatherings of family and friends. Shh, just don't tell anyone how easy it is to make. Ingredients
• 1/2 bunch of freshly picked baby asparagus, can use reg asparagus but the thinner the better (washed)
• 2 cloves of garlic, minced
• ½ cup of cream cheese, softened
• 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
• 1 tbsp heavy whipping cream
• 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed and cut in half
• ¼ tsp Salt and pepper
