Best of both worlds: Rent a loft in the first, less expensive, building, and make a friend in the more modern building so you can access the amenities. 😁
My daughter lives in a renovated factory in Indianapolis, a 20 minute walk from downtown. She pays 1350 for a huge one bedroom with a full kitchen with bar sitting and has a huge walk-in closet. Her favorite feature, the underground secure parking that she only pays $100 a month for. I'd rather live in renovated buildings like this full of light, than a closet just to be closer.
Yeah in Indianapolis, say less lmao!! I fell asleep midway through your 2nd sentence thinking how bored she is. And I love Indy - that's my Momma's hometown, but she is overpaying by Indy Standards. She could live over by the fairgrounds in a bigger place for about 300-500 less. And still be 20 minutes from NOTHING aka downtown Indianapolis lol. Best lofts I have seen ever. Units 2 & 4 are the winners for me because I would be able to stand up in the lofted spaces. Not too concerned about not having a dishwasher as I wash my dishes by hand as a single guy. And I don’t generate much in the way of dirty dishes either. Don’t need the amenities of the second building, the first building has just the right amount for me. Yeah, all around great units today.
These were all great. I'm most impressed by the sturdiness of the stairs to the lofts & the fact you could actually stand up in them. They often seem like a dangerous addition that an amateur constructed. Nice finds!
Agreed. In the old factory lofts the staircases should have been made with wrougth iron stokes as well as the 4th one should have had metal pillars under the area of the loft--it looks like the wooden ones could crumble at almost anytime! 😨😨😧
WOW! Crazy great places! I can't pick which one's my fave..love them all. But the last 2 had the most space and the kitchens were functional and pretty. 😊 Thanks guys for the great video once again ❤

I vote for Apartment #2-no, wait, #4-or both? Those windows, the exposed brick, weird quirky doors. Modern loft is very pretty and polished, but can’t win against quirk.
I actually liked them all. The 1st building had more character but the 2nd more amenities. The 2nd with the walk-in vault was definitely quirky. 1-4 were pretty basic but still nice. & so much room in each!!! Just not sure about the gas heat units. Probably put a carbon monoxide detector in each room for that reason
This another one of my favorite videos from, because love loft apartments, I like the last 3 of those apartments, lots of open spaces in different rooms, to put my music studio in or my home gym or home theater
"Was this an old warehouse or something?" "Ummm something along those lines" *discovers massive floor to ceiling safe* 🤑 Praying that sweet doggy made it home safely to its family 🙏🏼🥺💜
Oooh, you crushed it today! I think 3 and 4 were favourites though. That great long side wall I can picture with loads of books on it. Saying that, I loved 5's amenities. Great show today, Cash. Thanks.
These are the best loft apartments I've ever seen. They're really nice so they meet most renters' criteria, but they're quirky enough to be interesting! And you can't beat those prices! The last one is very pretty, the building has great amenities, and the kitchen and bathroom are higher end. But I prefer the loft and industrial spaces. James is also pretty great!
Are u from the dark side of the moon or something? These places are horrible. I would rather pay twice as much as I do to live in my house on the river in a small town than to, BE PAID to live in these shitholes.
I left NJ and live in NC we pay 1080 for a 3br 1.5 bath, in texas we had a 3br 2bath for 1750 in a full house with a backyard. I can never move back home, the prices there are insane. Move down south.
LOL! The Landlord didn't put too much money into these renovations! The first basement unit at $2850/month was only some gray and white paint, a bookcase from Ikea, a refurbished stove and fridge, and a few leftover cabinets from the other units! LOL! But ya know... I could work with it were it not for that loft space. If one cannot fully stand upright in a space then it's just aggravation, IMHO. However, it is a good space for the price. The second first floor unit at $3550/month was much better, and it's my favorite because those wood floors, exposed brick, and that safe, hooked me! (Loved the Mother-in-law jokes and it looked as if a twin bed would fit). The two bedroom (chop, chop, chop!) at $3550, month with the half window...no. That fourth unit at $3550/month is a much better option because of the diversity of space and what one could do with it. Also, I loved the isolated kitchen, those cabinets, and those wood floors! But, for $300/month more I would consider the last unit because of the amenities and balcony.
The old factory building: the last apartment was better than the first; although all 4 are still considered dated IMHO; but LOVE the 5th apartment in the new building across the street (especially with all the amenities!).

@@theoriginalbridgetconnors I doubt that. The NYC water system already has enough leaks. I don't think they are going to send treated drinking water into a private building's fire sprinkler system.
@@vincentgoupil180 I believe you are mistaken on the purpose of water tanks in buildings. Very tall buildings may need water tanks every few floors to maintain water pressure, but they are inside and you will never see them. Those wooden tanks, ubiquitous on roofs of older NYC buildings, are to supply the fire sprinklers.
i like the 3rd apartment the best. i LOVE warehouse looking apartments and they have 0 where i live. the high ceilings and exposed pipes and brick .. so industrial and sooo cool to me!
2nd Loft is very nice, spacious (1st isn't bad). Apt. 3 has a great kitchen area and bathroom. Apt 5 sold it with the multiple bookshelves; kitchen could be bigger for that price. The apt in the other building overall with the rooftop views is very nice for that price, especially with the sauna, pool and closet space.
I like them all but.... My two favorite are number 2 & 5. I like the brick in number two and number 5 is really nice really nice bathroom. Thank you for sharing😊.
#1 has tons of space, but I'd hit my head in the loft. #2 is bigger and more finished, and except for the pipe the headroom in the loft is quite adequate, which explains the higher price. #3 could be shared, making the per-person price affordable for many. #4 has the pipe-headroom problem, but it has tons of storage and a bigger, separate kitchen. #5 is the most expensive and has nice finishes, and it's in a building with many amenities, so for a two-bedroom (plus loft) you get the most for your money.
Honestly #5 is a steal!! #1 is my fav thats like my dream appt!! But for $3850 to get 2 bedrooms , nice updated and modern vibe, the nice roof patio, private balcony,.parking and all those ementies is actually amazing for that price point! Plus get you a roomate and you're living in a nice place for the cost of a shoebox in Manhattan lol ... doubt any of these places were on the market long they're not badly prices and they're very spacious and clearly they're well maintained.
the first place can sectional it off for another room. under the upstairs place. so could make it 2 beds for 1,500 each. the second place can be sectional off for another room and split the rent. or makes great area for photography studio for portraits shoot or other photography studio. the 4 place can turn into photography studio and still have bed room and other stuff you need. the upper bedroom can be use as editing place and storage area to keep gear locked up if get broken into. first place with 4 bedrooms has tons of options for use. the fifth place upstairs area would be used to hold and lockup all my expensive camera gear if downstairs area has room photography studio but upstairs for editing stuff. out side area great for photographer areas for portraits area. also this best 5 aprt you shown in long time
I love that $3550 one's windows in the living area with the brick. I would put a couch and TV of course, but also a small table for a breakfast nook in the sun and of course a spot for a cat if they allow it.
Hey Jordan, my wife and I are wondering about moving to NY from San Francisco and maybe you have suggestions on where we should look to live? I'm a techie and she's a new graduate so very flexible budgets, ofc the cheaper options are better for now :)
I LOVE loft apartments so any of them would suit me. Each one was better than the previous one but I'm partial to #4 which felt like it had the most character. But where's the bathroom??? In general I think the quirkiness of the older converted building was nicer despite the amenities of the modern building.
Hi Cash and to your friend, wow this is a gorgeous and spacious NYC loft. I hope someone will rent this gorgeous loft. I would enjoy living in a simple loft apartment, if it is convenient to shops and a safe area in NYC. Stay well and safe 👍😀I like the second loft apartment 👍actually now I prefer apt no 3 I like the closet doors. 👍
With all the time I’ve watching this channel and the countless buildings, the amenity I would most love is a steam room. Though I’m pretty sure the other tenants wouldn’t enjoy seeing me sitting around in just a towel!
Ah man.... What would be cool for the one where you need to get to door with ladder. Build a ladder against the wall which folds out. You could build it so you could hang blankets or comforters on them when not using. So many ideas
CBS News Sunday Morning! Congratulations on your appearance yesterday, Cash! (5/22/23). As for that unit with the safe, first thing I would do is jam the latch. Don’t need any visitors going missing 😅
To get access to authentic New York lofts with great amenities and at those prices , they will be gone within a few days. I would take #4 in a heartbeat, although #2 is pretty sweet as well. Real wood floors, diaphanous spaces, a useable kitchen and interesting features left in the place to give real character, all in an up and coming neighborhood, yeah, they will be gone fast.
Geez, my house payment is like $500 with taxes & insurance and my house is 3000 sq feet!!! Plus I have a yard! I can’t imagine living in a 600 sq ft apt for $2k-3k per month! That’s so depressing!
Loved number four and number five. Each time you showed one, I said oh this one is nice and then the next one came and I said oh no I like this better so finally by the end of the video I finally made a decision. Four or five... That's it for me😂❤
I like the third apartment. In the fourth apartment I would make the first part upstairs a working place. The second part a bedroom and the last part storage/closet.

I LOVE loft apartments so any of them would suit me. Each one was better than the previous one but I'm partial to #4 which felt like it had the most character. But where's the bathroom??? In general I think the quirkiness of the older converted building was nicer despite the amenities of the modern building.
The 3rd apartment is my favorite so far!!
Why is nobody renting those?! They are spacious and cheap. -Wow. Can't really beat a character filled loft.
They are NOT cheap lol and REAL New Yorkers know that lmaooo
Hi Cash and to your friend, wow this is a gorgeous and spacious NYC loft. I hope someone will rent this gorgeous loft. I would enjoy living in a simple loft apartment, if it is convenient to shops and a safe area in NYC. Stay well and safe 👍😀I like the second loft apartment 👍actually now I prefer apt no 3 I like the closet doors. 👍
Why rent an apt where a normal person cannot even stand up or u need a ladder to access part of the space?
It’s an apartment attic lol I wouldn’t be mad
Last apartment is by far the best one for the price!
Absolutely Love Awll 3 Of These !!!! ...
Smh .. My Anxiety Is So Peaked Now to Go Home ...
Love You Cash Jordon !!
Awesome job cash see you tomorrow morning.
With all the time I’ve watching this channel and the countless buildings, the amenity I would most love is a steam room.
Though I’m pretty sure the other tenants wouldn’t enjoy seeing me sitting around in just a towel!
Jordan Cash is in "CBS Sunday Morning". 😂👏👏👏
Dang! Cash Jordan! Bro You be crushing it! More Power to you!
I like them all but my favorite one was #3. Great price on all of them
2,4,5 are the best. I love the idea of a lofted area
Man todays apts were absolute winners. Can see all of them getting swept up in a month. Great video!
Criminals will somehow manage to get into those ground-floor mesh windows.
Wow what a steal. Great light, great space, great kitchen great price
Geez, my house payment is like $500 with taxes & insurance and my house is 3000 sq feet!!! Plus I have a yard! I can’t imagine living in a 600 sq ft apt for $2k-3k per month! That’s so depressing!
The one bedroom is amazing you're gonna be able to work from home and have space for fun friends etc
This place is very worth it. Really hugh😊
These were some really solid options. 😊
Loved number four and number five. Each time you showed one, I said oh this one is nice and then the next one came and I said oh no I like this better so finally by the end of the video I finally made a decision. Four or five... That's it for me😂❤
You had me with “The Pool.”
I like the third apartment. In the fourth apartment I would make the first part upstairs a working place. The second part a bedroom and the last part storage/closet.
