It is suppose to switch to warm to prevent over cooking. What water ratio to rice did you use? Did all water evaporate? Check cord condition and check if switch not stuck. Sometimes it may be a relay communication problem. Remove cord and put back in power source or change outlets. Try it again to see if same thing happens . Let me know and I will get back to you later ☺️✨
@@UnboxingWithSilverhead I use a rice cooker that says 8 cups uncook rice and I put the 8 cups and use like 2 and half cup of liquid, but I think I put lot of rice and less liquid
@@tiaguerra4479 that may be just what happened. I put equal parts water to rice. If I put 5 cups rice I put 5 cups water as an example. I just went online to Hamilton Beach site. I didn’t see nothing for that problem. They did say to make sure the pot is positioned so as to touch the heating element. You see my pot can come out of my cooker. If pot is warped it won’t heat properly. Let me know if that issue if you resolved that issue. Just hoping the correct water to rice ratio solve that issue🙏🏿.
