All excellent tips on hitting solid iron shots Troy! I am using all of your suggestions in my set up, takeaway, backswing, and downswing. On the downswing I am concentrating on a straight left wrist and a bent back right wrist at impact. I am also concentrating on keeping my right elbow in close to my body during the swing. Always enjoy your videos Troy! Keep up the good work!!!

Hello Troy, you discussed toward the end of the lesson a lateral shift forward of the upper and lower body to help with de-lofting the club. How is this different than ‘sliding’, which I understand is bad? Thanks for the video. Cheers!

Hey John, sliding is when the lower half moves independently forcing the upper body to hang back at impact. A good lateral shift is getting the upper and lower body shifting over and stacked over the lead side.
      Does that make sense?
      Cheers

@@Hittingitsolid Yes It does make sense. I think you even demonstrated the independent moving at the beginning of the video but I don’t think you called it sliding or anything. Thanks!

Can you spend more time showing us the exact club head path, 12 inches before the ball is struck and 12" after the ball is struck. Lots of instruction of backswing and downswing.. but nothing in slow mo... just before impact and just after impact. Use your swing path yellow line to slow mo the actual club head. Lots of us are still confused about the actual angle just before impact. Please spend LOTs of time in the area.

No problem, I'll see what I can do. Cheers
