Great content as always Ben. Facebook Ad Leads quality for Real Estate has been bad, what do you think the reason might be?
@@bosmakproperties2554 A lot of competition is one reason. The other is because the offer is often the same. Diversifying and making a more exciting lead in makes a big difference. Also, asking how soon someone is looking to buy or sell goes a long way as well.
Awesome as ALWAYS, Ben, thank you kindly.
But where do the emails go?
Do they go straight into an autoresponder?
Can we pay you a one time fee just to set up our fb adds
Excellent, as always! Can you talk more about what you do later on with your campaign? Like the optimization process, how do you know if the cost-per-lead is good, and maybe some tricks and hacks on how to increase the campaign's performance?
Thank you for a very detailed tutorial. Really easy to follow and understand how the new/old lead gen works!
Guy u just rock, u got a brand new suscriber, thanks. U are direct, u show real life examples and don't talk for ages like others out there. U bring so much value, thanks alot ❤
Ben...very helpful...you're the best youtube guy I've found with regards to just giving this info straight out..as professional as possible and quick to the point as it can be done. Very helpful thank you!
Thank you very much :)
Thank you so much! It was incredibly helpful and greatly assisted me. The content was very up-to-date
Ben, your videos are an absolute blessing! I started a Media Analyst position at an ad agency 6 months ago, and your videos have carried me all the way through. You're amazing!
Awesome - happy to help
I'm a professional digital marketer and all social media experts. How can I help you??
Thank you for this video! Super helpful! Straight to the point and really clear and easy steps to follow!
You are very welcome :)
Thank you so much, Ben! You are helping me a lot man. Your channel is so so important to me personally.
Happy to hear that :)
Thanks for your insight, can't wait to check out the rest of your channel.
Awesome, thank you!
Thank you Ben! Just ran my first Instant Form campaign and great results. Love that you walk us through the set up process
Well done!
Just a quick question- I’m a newbie at this so excuse me if there’s an obvious solution- my ad will be for people to take a quiz via an online form and has a squeeze page that collects the lead data. Can I still use the instant form, given that you said Facebook prefers this than to take someone to your website. And also reduces the cost per click.
U instant form, way better. Cause loading to ur website takes a bit time : online, less friction=advantage.@@laterlivingbetter
Thanks a million, Ben!! Your work is soooo valuable!!!
Happy to help :)
Thanks Ben for this amazing video! I'm definitely going to try this out!
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Super informative video, looking forward to trying this out. Thank you Ben :)
Happy to help :)
Fantastic video Ben, it would also be worthy to note that having a strong email back-end for these leads is important so as to make use of them.
Thanks a lot :)
finally someone who has an amazing microphone! And super helpful
Glad to hear it :)
A detailed and effective tutorial on one of the main objectives of digital marketing. Well done.
Glad you enjoyed it :)
How can I help you?
Ben, you said 9:09 'Facebook does it so well, if you ask for landing page views that's exactly what you'd get, I know upto some extent how they do it'. Please expand on how Facebook and Instagram matches audience to objectives SO WELL. That will really help us all!
The simple answer is data - they have billions of actions logged and that allows their AI to predict what people are going to do with a lot of accuracy.
This was highly helpful, I learned a lot.. Thankyou!
Thanks :)
Thank you Mr Ben
You have been helping thousands of souls on this platform may God bless and reward you ❤️
Thank you very much - happy to help

Glad it was helpful!
Wealth of information. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful :)
Hi, I've been watching your videos for a while now so I just wanted to say a huge thanks. You've been helping me help my team with our marketing strategy.
I have a couple of questions if you could answer them that'd be great !
- is the pixel saved at the ad account lvl or campaign lvl ? because we are testing 2 different offers for our company and don't want to have a mix of 2 different audiences confusing the algorythm. I hope that makes sense !
Anyway, keep up the good work sir, many of us appreciate it !
Thanks,
Thanks a lot.
Pixels typically learn at the account level - but there is also campaign level learning.
Excelent video, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
U are the best
hi ben - thanks for the video! what happens when we get leads- i.e. what format does it come in? I need to set up a "welcome series flow" for all these new leads with the Lead Gen freebie so am wondering the best way to do that.
Omg this was very informative!! Thank you so much !!!
I’m just strangling with entering my Facebook page. It won’t show anything in the search box when I enter it…
Thanks a lot - have you got it added to your business manager?
easy to understand, thanks Ben.
Glad you think so :)
@Ben Heath Can you respond to the other post besides the thank you post? There are some good questions on here.
Thank you!
You're welcome :)
Thank you Ben great job as always.. Newbe question : Can I have two ad sets under the same campain one a lead and one that goes a website ? I want to have one budget and spend that gets dividied between then? Cheers!
Hi Ben.
Thank you very much for making many wonderful videos like this.
What will you recommend for a wedding photography business? A Facebook lead campaign or conversion campaign?
Lead campaign will help for sure
Content is great, thank you for that. Maybe speaking a little (15-20%) slower can help non-native speakers to understand better without rewinding constantly. But we can slow down videos anyway :)
Thanks for the tips :)
Hey, Ben! Thanks for the video.
I am creating a new Facebook Fan page and Instagram account for a new digital product I want to sell. My idea is working with a lead magnet first, even before starting the sales BUT, even before, I was wondering about having some engagement campaigns in order to get some likes and followers (as cold public).
Once I have this, I could have some hot public strategies, like: lead campaigns with custom public and open public, purchase campaigns for leads and custom public who engaged with my social accounts, etc.
What do you think? In the end, the who structure is simple: lead magnet for leads and digital product offer
Great videos. Love the content!! However, I am always distracted by your skin tone changing through out the video haha
Thanks a lot - I use some natural light in my recording so as that changes so does my appearance sometimes
20:26 Hey Ben, do you use an automated txt message response for your clients once the lead comes in?
This is great! How would you get the leads? A csv file; on the campaign manager?
Can you make video showing sample integration with custom form + events .
Hi Ben, I am at a loss with tracking custom conversions. I really want to track custom pages on my business website to retarget ads back to people who have engaged with a specific page. I understand standard event tracking but someone suggested creating a google tag manager and boy, that is another world. Is this the only way to track people's behaviours on my website and use the data for retargeting?
thanks for this. But why is Facebook not displaying my form right, it's just difficult to get my form set up, all these fields are absent, scrolling is hard etc!
Goodday Mr Ben.. In a situation you are done setting up your instant form. In the settings, I noticed that you reset your ad from 'restricted' to 'open' so people can share it to others and fill their form.. From your experiences, is that a good thing to set?
How do I integrate my email followup with the Facebook form? This is driving me nuts 😑
How will the ad budget runs if at Campaigns level the daily budget is set at $30, while at Ad Sets the daily budget is set at $25?
Great video mate. Just a question. I'm currently running a single ad which, according to Facebook, is converting above average (in the performance metrics section). My conversion rate is around 0.4% yet it some blogs state that average conversion rates for my industry hover at around 2.5%.
So I don't know if my ads are performing well or not.
Anyway, thanks for the tips, I've already made a few changes to my campaign and hope it will yield even better results.
Thanks Eric. I would say your ads are performing well if they are delivering highly profitable conversions for you.
Hello Ben! Amazing video ❤ I was wondering what if instead of instant lead forms I just select calls, is this going to affect the lead campaign results negatively?
Thanks a lot. You can certainly give it a go. I wouldn’t expect the results to be as good as an instant form. You’ll likely pay more per lead.
Hi, can u make a video on how to create a privacy policy for Facebook leads ads without a website
Any way to make a question that is short answer a required field? So that if it is not filled out they will not be able to submit the instant form. Thanks in advance Ben!
Hi Ben, How to extract leads from this type of campaign?
is solar ads included in the spcial ad catogorie
Thanks for this video Ben! Question; when people fill out the form where does their information go? I hope my business email. Just wondering 🤔
You can find it via Publishing Tools on your Facebook Page.
Hey ben ... quite a regular follower of your videos. Just wanted to ask if this form strategy would be suitable for an e-commerce store ? What should the format be of lead generation in that case ?
Glad to hear it. We don't typically use it for ecommerce businesses. If we do, we'd usually give a discount code in exchange for a sign up or something like that.
@@BenHeath but we need to form format anyway these days ?
Is it possible to collide each post if we duplicate the leads campaign, Ben?
Hey Ben, fantastic video as always!
Just wondering how something like this could apply to a Mexican restaurant? We’re running an FB Lead campaign now for private hire at their venue but struggling to produce leads. The set up is dynamic creative (10 images, 4 copies and 3 headlines) on a £5/day spend with a radius of 10km from the centre of Birmingham. There’s also open targeting completely, as food typically applies to almost everyone.
Would you say we should be targeting more specifically as Mexican food might not be for everyone?
We’ve also got a lead objective but the optimisation and delivery is only allowing us to use conversions, not leads. Any ideas on this?
Thank you!
Thanks a lot :)
Given the budget, I would test a more specific audience. An LAL would be the best option most likely if you have decent sources.
@@BenHeath thanks Ben!
Ben have you figured out how to stop getting people from out of area to fill out the forms or send messeages....i have not been able to figure out how to make where no one out side the area doesnt see the ads to be hoenst it kills my campaigns.
It seems like this way of promoting creates a lot more handson sales work calling everyone back trying to pursuede etc.
Thank you for this. One thing though, in the ad set level I don’t see the option for “website”. For specific reasons I don’t want to use Facebook lead forms so what can I do?😮
Did you use the lead generation objective? If you have the old menu then you need to select conversions instead.
Brilliant video. Can we remarket to users who have opened the form but not submitted? If yes, how can we set up a campaign for this?
Thanks a lot :)
You can indeed. I’d check out my latest retargeting tutorial for info on that
Hello Ben, thank you for your video. I have a question. Before new objectives facebook structure i use conversion goal campaign with a whatsapp button on my landing page as the conversion goal (contact event). After the new structure what campaign i should use? Having a conversion on whatsapp button on the landing page? Interaction? Contact? etc? What type of campaign to reach the same goal of before?
Thanks :)
I would go with leads and then optimise for that button click action.
Hi Ben,
I've been reaching out to my leads that I got from the forms and they say "I never filled out a form and I never heard of your company"
What would you recommend for me to do to fix that?
Hi Ben, how to set up with GetResponse or Aweber?
What setting maximizing conversion leads as the objective, is there a way to manually share with Facebook a list of leads that didn't convert in offline events?
Also, is there a way to share with Meta whether or not prospects are opening emails on my email list?
i used facebook group I created as my destination. I want to update it to a landing page but can't figure out where to edit. Suggestions please.
Sir are you sheared any facebook engagment ads? if yes please share link
Hi ben grveat video! I have a question about generating leads for a very niche market. For context im targeting firefighters that have been exposed to a chemical causing them to have cancer. About 1 million + have been exposed and about 200k have developed symptoms due to it. Whats the best way to target research this niche market?
Would you recommend this for collecting leads for sending people to a free training for a course?
Certainly worth a test :)
Unfortunately I don’t have the description field under intro also the “questions” field did NOT open! I wasn’t able to save draft as well. I’m using laptop. Can anyone help out? Thanks
How can I help you?
Thank you for your great video
can i run ads for my client from my ads account but using their fb page?
Really great and informative video, but how can I access and download the data from the instant forms to, for example, build a mailing list?
You will find all that stuff in Leads Center :)
Hi Ben, would you recommend using Advantage Campaign Budget at the campaign level if running one ad set with Dynamic Creative and 3 or 4 ad variations?
I've actually got a new video coming out about an updated recommended campaign structure soon. I do think you want to change the structure if you are using Dynamic Creative.
@BenHeath When do you expect to release it?
Please how do I add Google form to Facebook lead generation ads set?
Is there a way to disable comments on a facebook campaign?..You spend on campaign and all it takes is one clown to put up bad comment ..i know you can delete but it may be up for a day before noticed if you were busy..Brilliant video many thanks for..
There isn't I'm afraid - best you can do is delete as you say.
have you found putting an intro vs not intro gives better quality leads? Im gussing the answer is yes as if you provide an intro and one or two questions im sure the quality gets better since you are forcing them to read a bit before clicking or pressing buttons...
I would say it does yes, but doesn't make a big difference.
is this best used to cold audiences? I was thinking this wouldnt make sense if using conversions to a cold audience then retargeting with lead forms for people who watched a video for example
No we would usually do this with both. You don't want to retarget people that have become leads already. But there are other warm audiences worth retargeting.
Hey Ben, what’s the minimum budget per Ad? Not for an adset. If we want to run ads for a local business within 50 miles of a radius. Does $5/ad work?
I was wondering, same question. I know the post is older. Did you find a amount that works?
@@nicolem1859 I’d say $30-$50/day for home service businesses.
If you're average customer value is less than $100-$500 you can run at $20-$30/day (for a campaign with 2-3 adsets & each adset will have 2 ads)
Thanks for the really helpful video but one question is,
Where do all these leads actually go?? Can they automatically go to my email list??
You need to use a Zapier zap or similar product to add to your list
Any recommendation for driving higher quality leads through Facebook ads? I’m generating great cost per result using a conversions campaign optimizing for leads, but the lead quality is fairly low.
there is a new feature (not available for everyone yet) where you can set lead qualification during creating the lead ad form. Ben has another video about it on his channel im not sure wich one was that but worth to search for it
Thanks for the input. I’m aware of that new feature. Unfortunately, we’re not running ads to native lead gen forms because the type of content being offered requires prospects to visit a site. I’m looking for recommendations specifically for conversion campaigns.
Generally it's best to ask a screener question about how soon they are ready to take action or get something done. Adding in additional questions like this also helps.
Hi Ben, thanks for your video! I am creating the same leads campaign (via mini game) for my company, however, I am trying to send this mini game for my email list. How can I find this ad link to add my mail list? Thank you
Look into Zapier, a Zap might exist
Is there a setting in the FB Lead From that prevents the prospect to put in the wrong number , email or even leave it blank and submit the form ?
You can create a Google Form where they need to log in to their Google account to sign up, it can ensure that the email provided is verified.
Is it ok to run a lead generation campaign ( like the one you mentioned above ) along side with a DOF campaign advertising the same service ? In the lead generation campaign i am using some of the same interests i used in the DOF campagn.
Yes you can test that sort of thing :)
Hello great video, I did all the same facebook approve all my campaign, adset and ads, but doesnt spent any money... SO no data.
Have you got billing all set up?
@@BenHeath yes i have, I contact the support team. They say will take a look but it will be fixed in next days...
The biggest reason is because i had blocked my ads manages account and now they re activate.
Once an email has been captured via the Instant Form, can we have it auto-import into Shopify?
Check if you can use Zapier or a similar service
may I know what mic you use? it sounds good
It's a Rode Lavalier one I think.
the lead quality sucks from lead forms, how are you dialing in the quality of leads? We get people on the phone that have 0 intent of ever doing anything, some of them say they never filled the form out, and others just never answer the calls/texts. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
The key here is how quickly you call them. We recently tripled a client's conversion rate by calling any new lead that came in within 5 minutes. No one says they can't remember when you call them right away.
Hi Ben,
Do I use the in app form if I am trying to collect an email?
Yes you can do :)
Hello Ben!...Question: My website shoots out a coupon offer as soon as someone signs up/lead for my newsletter. Can this still happen when using lead gen through FB?
This is possible if you add in the coupon offer in once someone has completed the form.
@@StuartMacadam Great! Can you point me to where I can learn to do this?
@@joewashingtonoilpainter For something like yours, it's best to use a platform like Zapier to do this so you can connect FB and your email platform provider. I might be doing a video on this very soon, so if you follow my channel, I'll keep you posted.
Which is better to start with Facebook vs Instagram vs Google ads for beginners and/or small businesses?
I think Facebook ads is easier but the better platform depends on what you sell. Either way I'd test both.
@@BenHeath Good to know, thanks!
where do the form leads go to when they signup? can they load into your autoresponder?
They go into Leads Center which can be accessed via the Meta Business Suite.
You can integrate your CRM, depending on which one you use and have the leads automatically added there.
I am just wondering... Do you really use facebook lead form for your clients? Or do you use landing pages to optimiese the lead quality. Thanks for the video!
Why not use both? The only way to truly know is having a campaign for on Facebook leads and landing page leads. I would highly recommend a state of the art marketing agency that has proven high converting landing page experience though.
Yep we do :)
Stuart you are spot on.
Hello Ben! I have a question: How do you collect mails from lead generation campaign?
You can connect your CRM and they'll be imported directly :)
@@BenHeath Thanks 🙏
@@BenHeath would you connect to your CRM from facebook? maybe you can do a video about this.
@@BenHeath yes please - a video about connecting your CRM would be really useful!
bro sometimes it is very difficult for me to understand your accent haha
do you have any PDF related to your ads strategies which i can read?
So are you only being charged for per person that summits or fill out a form? Or is Facebook charging you not matter what even if no one fills out a form
Obviously! Facebook charges you for impressions, not for clicks or conversions.
what about the automatic response? I want to create a lead campaign and send my e-book to people who leave their emails for me.
Yes you can connect a CRM and set up that sort of thing up :)
Do you need a facebook pixel for instantforms?
No you don’t - that’s a good question
How do you stop FB ads from say charging you .70 cents per click and then suddenly jump to $2.30 per click? Eats up a lot of budget unless I watch it like a hawk.
I have a privacy policy on my dropshipping website, can I use this? Not sure how else to get past this part 😢
Yes that should be fine - you want to adjust it somewhat but otherwise all good
Hi Ben, My Facebook Account got restricted permanently I have seriously scaled my business but in between this happened and Facebook isn't helping me out and I don't know how can I keep running the ads on that Ads Manager by adding someone, but I am not able to do that as well.
Best to start from scratch and create a new business manager, ad account and pixel. The second best option is to find your local Meta Business Agency partner and see if they can help.
How can I help you? I'm a professional Digital marketer.
