My go to example is curry, Europeans, Africans and Asians all swear they have the most authentic curry recipes or are impressed to see others eat curry. Food was the first intranet/internet. Fried chicken was introduced to Koreans by black American soldiers, but African slaves were introduced to fried chicken by the Scottish.

I used to live in Chinatown Seattle and occasionally go to a Ssam bar to have a cup of magkoli and ate there a few times. Also fun fact had a South Korean sort of rival in boarding school in California but late at night we would set our problems aside and eat ramen which one of my faves instantly became Samyang brand when I tried it. A lot of Asians in those dorms, and in Chinatown Seattle. I need to make a dish that has those little anchovies either this or like SE Asian Nasi Lemak or something

& Cass I was thinking about it today is easily one of the best of the standard international lager lineup no cap. The lager where I’m from doesn’t even come close. I think the only other quite simple lager that come close to it are like Taiwan Beer and Samoan Valima. Slavic lagers are also very good.
