He was renowned but man, he looked like a sweaty homeless dude they grabbed from behind a dumpster outside the venue!

I used to listen to Billy every morning in my Walkman after my mom dropped me off for 10th grade. I got dropped off early as all hell so I had a lot of time. I looked forward to those mornings more than school 🙂

Through the mid 2010's I was in high school and I actually loved listening to Billy Squier. Played him a lot in the class rooms, classmates thought I was just a strange man for not liking the Top 40. Who says "You can't enjoy old school Rock & Roll in Generation Z"? We need Billy Squier more than ever in this day in age

Saw him open for freddie mercury and queen Irvine meadows 1981 from the orchestra pit. The days of awesome rock shows are over sadly.

Only saw him live once, he opened for Journey (Escape Tour) here in Ottawa, the band "Toronto" before him. Good show. Until then I had no idea how good he was on guitar.
Never saw him live....cherish it. Saw lot's of awesome bands in the 80-90's... just not Billy

Hi, in the album version at the very end of the song, the guitar makes a sound like you’re going up and down the scales. It’s right before the drum solo that ends the song. Is that done with a slide? Sounds so cool
