Solution to Popping Switch Sound of M-wave Mini Universe!!

Just put a resistor between the pcb input to ground and pcb output to ground, I used 2.2k resistors, regular 1/4w is Just enough, but you can try bigger values, 27k also worked for me.
Also looking for a solution for the small delay/gap when the pedal is engaged.

My unit hasn't arrived yet but if I experience this problem I plan to run it through a basic single-line loop switch pedal. Loop switchers redirect the signal chain and can be used to remove and reinsert pedals when engaged or disengaged. From there I can keep it on at all times and engage it with the loop switcher, avoiding the need to depress the Mini Universe's foot switch.

I added 1M ohm resistors then replaced it with 2.2 k ohm resistors as shown but i noticed a drop in volume when the pedal was used compered to bypass mode. The effects pedal was used in front of the amp. Having tried it again through the effect loop it sounded better, by the way both resistor values removed the popping sound.

Sweet spot i have found was 22k.

Would the difference in resistor value 1M ohm to 2.2 k ohm effect volume when the effects pedal is on.

@@paulyates5092 it didnt affect the overall volume but the tonality just a bit for me. The lower the resistor is, the more treble Will be filtered. By the way, there is a workaround for both switch pop and delayed engage issues, i started a topic on diystompboxes.com and someone found a solution for that.

No bro, not yet. There's one guy named @isaquelima822 here in UA-cam, he actually found this solution and he also said he'll check this delay problem, I told him about the LED hack I do in this video. Hope its somehow solved as well.

Can you explain to me what the delay is like? I have this pedal but I didn't know that this pedal has a delay problem.
