Thanks for this! I saw your other video and you had the resistors soldered to the middle point but it looks like here they’re actually open? Also, the issue with the decay cutting off is annoying - did you figure out how to fully preserve the decay trail in addition to the reverb? It was actually hard for me to really tell that the reverb trail was being preserved when you turned the switch off…

No prob's! Actually, there's no workaround to keep the trailing when the pedal is off, BUT there's a solution for this popping and delay. I'm a member of a DIY pedal forum and asked the very same question there and a good lad from UK seem to found a solution, check the below link. Apart from keeping the trail when pedal is off, all the remaining problems are solved this way, and pedal becomes sorf of a "true" bypass, the effect does not reset itself on dis- & reengage.

@@captain6198 Thank you! I'm going to give it a try. So is it not necessary to connect the other end of those resistors to anything?

so actually connecting ground pin and center pin you make it buffered from true bypass. that's cool! it would be very useful to add a toggle switch to connect those pins so you can choose from true bypass and buffered, 'cause long reverbs could be a problem on buffered switch like that. I could need to turn it off to end tails but It would not with buffered switch lol

In either way, there's no trailing going on when the pedal is switched off :(

Do you think the delay on the mini universe pedal is disturbing for playing guitar on stage? And is there a way to eliminate the delay by making connections between the pins as shown in your video?

To me, it is a bit annoying yes, and yes, theres a Workaround for that also, that needs a basic tinkering
