Road runner was always one of my favorites. This thing is amazing. Especially considering the amount of time he took to build it. Makes me feel bad for having my junk in the garage for 5 years
I’m not a huge late model Mopar fan, but certainly dig the vintage 60’s and 70’s stuff. Especially ‘70 ‘Cuda. This Road Runner is Boss! Nice build that I’d love to own. Thanks Dennis.
As a born & bred Pontiac guy & appreciator of ALL muscle cars, I gotta' say with all honesty... THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL & BAD-ASS Road Runner!!!! The owner//builder is rightfully proud. 🙂 Regards, Ben
Excellent job, hats off to this guy, the 70 roadrunner has always been my favorite body style of the roadrunner. That's a lifetime keeper, thanks for sharing this hotrod and the story behind the restoration. Jp from Indiana
What an amazing car! Something I can never even dream of owning, but it is definitely bad ass! I’ve owned a 2015 hellcat one of the first off the assembly line, and then later on a hellcat redeye, which was really bad ass!
Yeah, I'd be proud too! What awesome talent this guy has. Flawless work and breathtaking results. So nice to see a 4-speed too! Truly one of a kind MoPar!
Met Wayne at Emerald Coast Cruizin last year. He was super cool and I think I asked him about 100 questions about the car. Cool guy and a really cool car.
I had a 70 RR. The Orange with the black strip. Enjoyed my time in it. Back in 1974. Guy I bought it from ran it at the strip. It had racing slicks on the back. I later changed them to N50x15s. My dad put a racing clutch in it. It had the pistol grip. It was big and fast. My dad would ask me to use it all the time. I’m sure he went around racing…why’ll telling me not to race.
Super incredible job sir you should be proud!! What radiator is that running. My 69 charger has a 440 and I need to make a cooling improvement on it but I seem to have the oddest hose arrangement with both inlet and outlets on the right hand side. Not sure why can't find that configuration put there
LilRed-Emax20, I recommend you contact Griffin Radiators. They are the BEST. Be certain to explain the issue of both inlet & outlet on the same side of the radiator. If you have an issue with keeping your 440 running cool: You may need to use an electric fan. I recommend SPAL Brushless Fans. It's necessary to consider your thermostat temperature range & the pressure range of your radiator cap; as well as their quality. You'd be surprised by the big improvements these small parts make to the cooling system of an engine. If you live in an area where temps are hot, I'd use a water restrictor...not a thermostat. Especially during warm//hot weather. The quality of your water pump needs serious consideration as well. Avoid water pumps sold by AutoZone, O'Reilly, etc. Their parts are OK for moms' grocery getter...BUT...not OK for your high-performance 440; '69 Charger. That car is BADASS. Kudos to the owner for doing 99% of the work himself. As Dennis Collins would say...'OUTSTANDING!'

That is real sweet my man, you did a fantastic job 🏁🍺🎊💯👏
Beautiful work! Now that's how you update a muscle car. Clean, tasteful mods and didn't ruin the car. Owner does his own work, as it should be!
Really nice work from a fellow 70 Roadrunner owner.
Soooooooo IMPRESSIVE! Wow😮
Clean. Everything about it, tastefully done. 👍🏻
Awesome ride Dude
Awesome car. Extremely impressive work. Gotta love that southern accent too

Very clean job😊I want one 😊
Incredibly well done!
My Mom would say..."Wayne your a Gem"...and that would be an understatement........
Mopar madness and a very well built classic.
I had a 70 RR. The Orange with the black strip.
Enjoyed my time in it.
Back in 1974.

Boy it's quiet too. Not obnoxiously loud running open headers. Just loud enough to hear it while you drive and still hear the whine too.
That is amazing.
Absolutely gorgeous.
Love this car,my favorite.
It's a keeper!!!!👍👍
Awesome job, very talented man
