Mnisi can get overzealous and deviate from spot-on questions that strangle the witness. For example, Mangena finishes his work, Seroe finalizes his review, and Seroe states that's the final step. The next question would be why he would send it for further opinion when an affidavit was already written, casting further doubt on Mangena.

0:18 There's an underlying issue that Judge Ratha is brewing if you listen to how he corrected Adv. Mnisi, just the other day, he asked Lt.Col. Mangena about the magnitude of the Laboratory.
If you remember the first day Dave Pieterse came to court, Mangena and Brig. Gininda were also there, Ratha asked if Pieterse will use the State's Laboratory, Pieterse said he will conduct the Ballistic Tests in his Private Laboratory, and knowing Ratha, he didn't like that fact.
Therefore,I think Judge Ratha will want to discredit Pieterse's Tests due to the magnitude of his Laboratory because Ratha trust the State's Laboratory than Dave's Private Laboratory.
