- Deputy President Paul Mashatile collapsed on the podium while addressing Nwamitwa Day in Tzaneen in Limpopo and was rushed to a local hospital.
Limpopo Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba says it could have been due to dehydration.
She says the deputy president does not have any underlying medical conditions.
