Exactly... they are WAY too close together. "Blade coning" alone will cause this system to fail catastrophically... and with you in it. Take a look at any Russian coaxial helicopter. The blades are separated by FEET... not inches!!!
@@artscrafts6616 The "air" is not the problem. The two rotor discs are far too close to avoid contact as the rotors flex during all the various control inputs. One abrupt input would immediately crash the blades, and your but right along with it...

@@artscrafts6616 If, for whatever reason, both blades were spinning in the same direction... parallel (one on top of the other), or skewed, it could cause some aerodynamic irregularities, but counter rotation takes most, if not all of that out. The bottom blade in a CR rotor wash may actually become more efficient during hover, requiring less pitch for the same lift... but that again depends on the top to bottom separation. The farther apart, the less the effect. Of course, the closer they are, the chances of a collision during independent blade movements becomes the critical aspect I would not want to test. Then, there is "Translational Lift", which makes the entire blade disc more efficient at about 25 KTS (the entire rotor disc then becomes a "wing" of similar area). Of course, if you want to climb fast, allow the nose to rise some, and just add power (pull pitch = Collective). You will rocket upward! Although, I would assume that TL could act slightly different with a CR rotor system. The small CR rotor "XRON" I've flown seemed lazy during TL, but I never flew it very fast (the differential tip "drag plates" made for sloppy Tail Rotor/Yaw control compared to conventional tail rotors on MD500's or JetRanger's)...
it is really great to see people which has amazing plans but no basic knowledge about principe of colective and cyclic controlling of helicopters :) nevermind.. better than sit at sofa and watch tv... !
Redesign or stay earthbound. No swash,no grease on counter rotation gears,common bolts no safety wire,single steel chain drive when standard avio. Is geared belt
...chlape, to, co děláš, je naprosto nefunkční a kdyby se náhodou i vznesla, tak neřiditelná a nebezpečná mašina...nastuduj si nejdříve něco o rotorové hlavě...musí mít alespoň mávací čep (jako vírník), když už máš naklápěcí hřídel a musí mít kolektivní řízení (zvýšení tahu přidáním plynu samo o sobě nestačí)...

I dont think it will fly man it doesnt have a swash plate and the rotor blade design is for gyro not for helicopter to make a lift.
