Sehwag is single handedly responsible for inspiring generations to play their natural game... Warner, Roy, Sharma, Agarwal, Shaw, Stirling are heirs of Sehwag💕💕💞
Viru is an extraordinary player
Indian lion
The man who forced me to love test cricket, contributed a lot to national team in every format got retired silently. And BCCI couldn't even provide him a proper send off. Shame.
Agree from you bro....
Same with yuvraj
Ab Dhoni k sath v aisa hi krne wale h ye BCCI
Same with gambhir sehwag yuvraj harbhajan simply they rejected whole of 2011 champion players except few
Shame.
@@nrz_rzk Bhai dhoni retire hone ka decision toh le.
Phir hi to send off denge wo to ja hi Nahi Raha hay
What a way to tell a Cricket Story..
Ian Chappell one of the best 'CRICKET STORY TELLER'
Almost the average of 50 in test's
100's-23
200's-6
300's-2
Absolute legend of the game
And a strike rate of 84.5
@@aratrikghosh2717 odi SR in test match
@@fanboy8026 haha very true that's viru for you his test strike rate was more than some of the players odi strike rate of that era
He has a 295 right?
Do mention strike rate. 84+
When Ian Chappell says he loves a player so much, that is a huge compliment indeed.
Sehwag, Dravid, Tendulkar, Laxman, Ganguly. That was some batting line up. Don't think India will have that kind of line up ever again.
Agree
Had they had a ishant or a shami with zak agarkar we wud have been top class
Yuvraj & Dhoni
give me one batsman who can jump out for a six on 295
Brendon McCullum lol, and the same score on Boxing Day.
yes until mcculum did it
Lara jumped out for a 6 at 374 to tie and eventually break the Hayden record.
+Jay Flora NO. McCullum has scored only a single triple ton till date and that was not scored in a day. he took 500 odd balls to get there
the only indian to be out stumped on 99
Sehwag actually changed the whole test cricket. He is a revolutionary cricketer.
I wish I had a dollar for every player that has been credited by someone somewhere with 'having changed test cricket' ....
Yes
In my favorite XI Sehwag would be my first choice as opener. Then Matthew Hayden.
sehwag was one of the two reason why i watched cricket
Other was the Sachin
hehe...same here :D
+Mohit Kumar Saini wish he was given a farewell .. as I look back we were all fortunate to watch him tear apart great bowling attacks around the world.
Same !!!!!
India had Sehwag and Australia had Hayden, both tore up bowling attacks around the world, they are certainly my 2 favourite openers and possibly the 2 greatest of all time.
sehwag changed the cricket approach always loved to watch while he is batting
+Suresh Addanki Yeap .. long before the T20 craze picked up ...
Dude it was sanath jayasuriya who changed the game.. thank him for no more boring starts to innings, T 20 , more results based games.. sehwag, gilly etc were then played up the order because they realised how devastating they can be
esucil true. It was the 96 WC winning Sri lankans with Jayasuriya and Kaluwitharana opening that changed cricket and paved the way for T20.
Before sehwag their was Gilchrist and before him there was SIR VIV
@@sirlordhenrymortimer6620 Gilchrist was contemporary.. Sehwag was a on opener..most aggressive one at that..
Sehwag scored 2 triple centuries (Steyn,Ntini, Morkel) & In Multan(Shoib aktar,Sami, Saqulain) . He made triple centuries in 4 session.
Shewag only knows offense is better than defense
Like Brendon McCullum.
@@mikespearwood3914 yeah. But B Mac did that in white ball cricket only. Not in tests.
@@invincibleanon3712 he has a 300 against India and the fastest test century of all time.
@PP - 09AS 704228 Jean Augustine SS That is just a bold face lie. His average was 38.64.
@SyphorX Did I say Mccullum was better. No. I was just saying what that guy said was a lie.
Sehwag is one and only lion. Cricket is very boring without him
I love listening to Ian Chappell's views on cricket. Thanks for the upload.
Sehwag's 202 at Galle is the wonderful knock! He single handedly neutralized the Lankan bowlers especially A Mendis!
First time ever i saw Ian chappel smiling ..
Freddie GG Courtesy of VIRENDER SEHWAG 😎😎🇮🇳🤘
Sehwag is real entertainer. He scores and entertains Cricket viewers in Ground and on TV.
He is an amazing player with amazing ability and talent. There is an interview or Ashwin where he says - his secret to getting shehwag out was to bowl bad balls to him. Because the better you bowl to him, he takes it as a challenge and the harder he hits you 😂. No joke.. That's the courage Ian is talking about here.
Sehwag is a Legendary Batsman I have ever seen in cricket.
Sehwag is a Legend
The most dangerous destructive player in all forms of cricket
Strike Rate in
Tests - 85, Odi-100, t20-150
Compare with devilliers, Gayle Warner
Tests-53, Odi-100, t20-140
He averaged 50 in tests 8500 runs striking at 85
2 triples, 6 doubles
Ian well knew the worth of Sehwag, Test cricket failed to produce such a attacking opening batsman since his adieu. Mccullm played a few bu not as equal as Viru bhai. ❤️
Sehwag is one of the best opening batsman cricket have ever played...he is the best...I have seen what a wanderful entertainer..super super player...he only plays one way..go and bashshed bowlers
Hats off to Hon'ble Ian Chappell & Greg Chappell for their immense contributions to Int'l cricket 🏏 🏏 ... Honestly speaking, India opener Viru Sehwag is class apart (..and also so is VVS Laxman ) 🏏 🏏 👏 👏 👍 👍
India ko next Sachin mil Gaya next Rahul Dravid mil Gaya next vvs mil Gaya next Dada like captain mil Gaya but India ko Sehwag Mila kya nhi aaj bhi 12opner try kiye hai4saalo me
Noone has an attitude like sehwag. He s amazing
Sehwag surely one of murderous Hitter of the cricket Ball...I fail to understand that when someone is describing hitting They always have a chuckle on their face. Why is that???Is it funny?i think its courageous
will cricket produce another Shewag? Answer is a firm NO
sehwag the boss
When chappelli tells war stories, you just drop everything else and listen...
I'm always a massive Sehwag fan since I was a kid
such a good storyteller he is !
T20 was formed after watching Sehwag play 😂
Thanks to my old alarm watch lol I was able to this live , poor stuart mcgail he was like who is this guy lol
I don't like test cricket, but when viru paji used to play, I fell in love with test cricket and I still watch his old clips on UA-cam.❤️❤️
shewag always believes offence ie attack is the best form of defence
What is the difference between 199 and 200...only psychological...we all are mental patients...
My childhood hero..
One word for Entertainment world...."A little thing of beauty is joy forever-John Keats"____I am not fan of cricket but I am a big fan of beauty which can blow our mind such a way forever. If I can say about Cricket world, then can state that, the only player who made us joy by showing beauty with every single moment as long as the man been on the ground. Sir Virender Sehwag. If we review our cricket world from the beginning to the end, there got enormous iconic player who played decades after decades and made them greatest such as an example, Sir Don Bradman, Sir Viv Ricahards, Sir Brian Lara, Sir Sachin Tendulker etc and more. Yet you should observe the Cricket is about 3 format of game. Nobody could show the beauty of aggressive in every single moment by hitting every single ball with the most tremendous style that ever born in cricket history. Though we can compare his style with Sir Sachin Tendulker but Sir Sachin always played with smooth beauty style all over the ground like magical way that is full of beauty package. That's why he is legend. Yet, the material point is, the way Sir Sachin played & Sir Virender Sehwag played the same way but the difference is Sir SACHIN played with smooth tremendously and Sir VIRENDER SEHWAG played same like that style with hammer shot perfectly in every single ball, no matter what types of format it is, TEST, ODI, or T20. Sir Virender Sehwag did change the modern cricket world by his plenty of fearful batting style. That is very to rare to see & learn the lesson of Cricket book. Respect and enormous love for Sir Virender Sehwag.
Viru ❤
Sehwag is sehwag just chapri in good way😂
And Ben duckett inspired sehwag
Sehwag is best and dhoni bad man
Most destructive opening batsman in the world we Lucky we gotten sehwag in our team india .. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
No fikar
No fear
Nothing
Bat flowed in his style always been
love watching sehwag play
Sehwag was just an arse kicker. So much fun to watch
Sehwag and Gordon Greenidge my all time favourite openers.
perhaps the only batsman in test history who might be regarded as an 'ALL TIME GREAT' despite having very moderate record in 3 of the 8 nations in which he played.Reasons... his other specialities...str: of 82.23 combined with 49.34 average for an opener & several beastly mammoth inns .
Again, if he was properly managed, he could have got even that country wise record up to the mark.He started with a bang in SAF & ENG only to fall apart subsequently due to mismanagement.
I don't why Bcci don't proper standoff to players if you look at yuvraj pathan harbhajan zaheer and many more do sachin tendulkar only made contribution to cricket if it is like this this then india should not play 11 ina team they should only play one is it a joke or what I feel very bad for others
I love Virender and I love Ian Chappell
Credit should be given to Sourav Ganguly who backed him to be opener and sewag was after Vivian Richards the most destructive batsman
1:10 real words... 🙏🙏🙏
No one can match sehwag
I can remember many matches I switched the channel after Sehwag getting out ❤️ specially in Test matches.
Miss u Viru ❤️
Sehwag and WG are the only two truly attacking openers I can think of. As usual, Chappelli is right... what an asset to have someone like that in your team.
I love how Ian talks about Sewag, its not just about the innings in question, its about the Batsman he was as a whole
Sehwag my Hero
He only struggled against macgrath and swinging ball in England late in his career.Great batsman.
King of opening. Forever
This is the first time I've ever heard Chapelli talking about someone in a positive light, rather than his usual criticism and having a go at everyone
watch him talk about VVS Laxman's 281 from the same episode... Amazing....
Fraser Gibson you haven't heard much of Chappelli then! He dishes out praise when it's due. The people he criticises usually deserve it from what I've seen.
@@mikespearwood3914 ya, but he criticize very harshly a few times
this man has serious issues with sachin !!! hahahaha but any way lot of respect for one of the greatest cricket captain and leader of all times !!
Sehwag bating super hero
Who gives a twopenny damn what Chappell .I. thinks
Ian Chappell is a solid raconteur
Well mr.chappel he did it in chennai, 300 in a day
He scored 284 in a day in Mumbai not 300 in chennai. stats.espncricinfo.com/wi/content/records/284225.html
No he didn't. He went from 52 to 309, i.e, 257
Viru THE GREAT
World number one power full batsman shewag 🔥
Thanks for accurate subtitles it helps a lot 🤣🤣
Viru is irreplaceable
fearless champion batsman......
Sachin's safe attitude has been his only weakness in his career
pappukumar420 in 1990's Sachin was a very aggressive player who didn't care about his wicket especially in odis
ABe chutad chup hoga tu? Sab mc ek type k player hote h kya bkl?
Sachin later on became very obsessed with records. Just compare his strike rate when he starts his innings and once he gets to 80 odd. It keeps on declining.
Sehwag super
Tendulkars total intnl 100s: 100
Ind won : 53
Lost : 25
Draw/ tie : 22
The ultimate match winner for team India.
It means 47 we not win,, not a match winner..
@@biggbrother955 For goodness sake, the ones you didn't win were hardly Tendulkar's fault.
90's kids started watching cricket for Sachin, but they started playing after seeing Sehwag...
Probably the best Indian test opener ever!!
Fully agreed sir.
I wish Sachin hadn't came in 😂😂
what is the name of the music that is played in the end ?
Hit man
I am an Indian! I consider myself quite literate about cricket!but my honest admiration (don't consider, me being INDIAN)but this innings of sehwag was the best openers innings I have ever seen in my lifetime, specially on foreign soil, and also wish had simon katich not bowled he would have scored around 220to 230 on that day! And I still regret how we lost that match
Martin Crowe
GOAT among see ball hit ball batsmen in tests.Sehwag.
donno why me memory went straight to the cricket world cup 2011 semi final, mohali
Sehwag changed whole test cricket scenario in world cricket..
Yes...next ball... opportunity to score
Ian chappel, never praised botham and sachin ,bcz he had personal hatred towards both..
He will even praise pujara, or rahane
He changed test crciket . We dint find such batsman now
This guy is the foolest who played cricket
I watched test cricket because of Sehwag & Dravid
Shewag may or may not be among one of the greats But cricket world will never see another dynamic dashing entertaining cricketer in the near future that too in the opening slot.
Best analysis. I can hear him all day 🙂. He's an excellent story teller.
Is it greig chappel and Ian chappel are brothers
Ian chappel is so articulate n so very correct !
Ian the racist biased non legend
I think Sehwag is the best entertainer ever.
All time aggressive opening
A gem of world cricket.
see the ball hit the ball player.
