With a few upgrades they aren’t slow at all I’ve been over 30th on mine, I ride my fat bikes all year long and all over the country on single track and free mountain type stuff welcome to the great joy of fat bikes
Yes!!! I found out they aren't "slow* a few more rides into it lol. I love it! Just got back from a ride just now.
It's amazing to see how smooth the bike rides without front/rear suspension.
Nice bike Todd. Congrats! Yeah would def put a dropper on it. Cant imagine riding without one lol.
Must be nice to have all these types of bikes. I have one bike and do it all with it. Green, Blue, Black, and paved trails Haha!
Definitely doing a dropper sooner rather than later (I even have one on my gravel bike, haha). I just love bikes, man. Easier to justify than a typical mid-life crisis Corvette 🤣
I have a Minnesota 2.0 and am loving riding this bike, year-round now since we have snow on the ground
Yesss! Just got some snow here today and earlier this week. Goal is to do a fat bike ride this Sunday (and film it) 🤘
Sick bike Bro Congrats!!
Haha, thanks man!
I 💖new bike day! Congratulations, and thanks for the video bro!! It's a thumbs up from me! What do you down to keep down the wind noise when filming?
Thanks man!! It's so much fun. Oh, and I use a simple foam windscreen over my GoPro (can pick up on Amazon. Acts as a little foam case for it too. I turn the wind noise suppressor off in the GoPro settings, and then turn on treble boost in post in order to hear more of the gravel and trail "crunch."
@@BIIIKES Thanks for the windscreen tip!!
Congrats on the new whip Todd! I love my fatty and ride it all year round. With the right upgrades you can turn it into a speed demon trust me. Some of my fasts times were set on my Carver.
Thanks Sage, and good to know!! Bike is a lot of fun. Tubeless, new tires and a dropper are definitely on the short list! I've already put Shimano MT400 brakes on since filming this 😋 Hopefully we can see a fat bike video from you soon? 🤙
@@BIIIKES She makes a few cameos from time to time ;) Let's hook up for a fatty ride someday.
Dude, that would be amazing. I wouldn't want to hog your entire blooper reel though 😉
@@BIIIKES lol!!! Trust me, you can't possibly screw up more than me.
I bought a Framed Minnesota this winter and I love it. Biking only on snow so far, so running around 5 psi. What do you use for tire pressure on your non-snowy rides? I think the stock tires are rated up to 20 PSI, but it seems a lot of fat riders still go 10-15 on dry conditions/pavement. Would like to know what you do.
Hey Joe!! Thanks for checking out the video. I'm running about 8.5 in the back, and 7ish in the front. Just rode some bumpy MTB trails today and it really helped absorb the bumps. Actually set some PRs over my $3k+ mountain bike! 🤣
I have a fat bike. And; when we had some snow in Birmingham England, I could still ride to work on it. It rides over snow so easily. And yet; the bin men couldn't drive to where I live to collect the garbage.
Haha that's amazing! I'm loving my fat bike as well!
Sad news. The House Outdoor Gear company recently announced that they are closing down . The parent company "Camping World" is responsible for shutting "The House" down. All items, including the remaining stock of Framed bikes, are being liquidated. I got this news from my local paper, the Minneapolis Star & Tribune. I live in Shakopee , MN, and just purchased a 20" Framed MN fat bike last December 2022. 😪 My advice is to buy as many of the replaceable derailleur hangers as possible because I have read stories of them bending after extreme use.
Just picked up 4. Do you know if Framed is still going to be around?
@BIIIKES! That will be up to "Camping World/ Active Gear Corp." to decide to continue the brand. Their corporate name is Active Gear Corp. The Star & Tribune article did state that Active Gear Corp will be laying off up to 90 employees and will be restructuring the company. So, Framed bikes may come back as an Internet only company, much like Priority Bicycle is.
@@marce152 Thanks man. I really appreciate the info.
Remember .........Fat Bikes are like fat chicks. They are fun to ride till your friends see you on them.
Hahahaha. You aren't right 🤣
That's funny 🤣
@@richardcaro3368 and true. I can tell you from personal experience.
