Colombia's downfall is the drugging, robberies, and the pesky hawking beggars at every turn. I like the infrastructure, restaurants, and nightlife better in Colombia. DR is a solid choice, for safety, convenience, beaches and more relaxed pace.

Colombia is NOT for AMATEURS. DR is for amateurs or 1st time travelers. You must do your homework before going to Colombia, people, places, language and things to do. ✊🏿✌🏾💯

Living in DR 15 years. But, it's not better than Colombia. Dude said "You can definitely find good, traditional and loyal women in Santo Domingo. Yeah, if you take the first women that jumps in your lap. Loyalty, good luck with that if she's a stunner

I went to Santo Domingo a few years back and had an immigration officer screwing with me because I didn't speak spanish. I had all documents handy including hotel reservations, but he resented that I was American and looked like him and didn't speak spanish. Don't ever arrive at those airports late at night as they are not friendly as the day shift.

DR is much safer. Colombia is too many people getting drugged, robbed, and dying there. As far as domincan women and colombian women is no comparison. Just the danger that happens. So DR is better

Yea, Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 is definitely better to live than than Colombia 🇨🇴, although both of them have their pros and cons.

Don’t go to Colombia if you are a novice traveler, go to DR. Colombia is for a seasoned traveler that knows how to move. You hear some many stories because the weekend warrior tried to play a professional game and got caught lacking.
