Look great, i prefer the monkey able to walk little bit faster.
Thank you for playing! ❤
Hmm... Monke.
Women are a distraction! I'm glad that giant disembodied hand took her away from me. I want to be Monke!
Very Good!!👍
I didn't manage to patch the ROM with the two patches
Starks machine?😮
once i saw a native american guy raging so badly at the arcade version of this game. he was kicking the cabinet after repeatedly dying yelling, shit! godd@mmit!
I hope if thy can replace toki by sprite of arcade look great the monkey sprite of arcade more better
This was a weird one all right. By trying to "Mario-ise" the game like this, they probably made it a better actual game, but they lost most of the arcade charm and visual appeal of the original. The wretched bits of genuinely new content, like "boomer", highlight how much more skilled the artists of the original game were.
Anyway, changing the colours isn't enough to restore what it has lost from the arcade original, but sure doesn't hurt either.
First 😂
much different than the original arcade and Amiga great conversion. Despite more parallax and such I consider this MD version inferior to the original
Did you ever play a Streets of Rage 3 hack featuring Hannah Dundee from Cadillacs and Dinosaurs? I love Hannah. Although Blaze Fielding is good too.
A great game, just what this world of nowadays needs.
I just think the developers should keep the arcade intro sequence. Here, you see the giant hand carrying the lady only by a split second.
I don't have the original side by side to compare, but I can immediately tell this is definitely nicer on the eyes. I kinda recall that the original was just ugly enough that it never really interested me, but seeing it like this, it actually looks like it could be decent. I guess that goes to show how much difference having good colours can make. At least for me personally anyway, aesthetics are and always have been very important. I don't care about graphical feats so much, as they pretty much always don't hold up after time, but just lovely timeless visuals that are actually pleasing to look at. I'm still not even gonna bother playing the game personally, as there's many other games I'd much rather play these days, but all these colour hacks [and improvement patches] a few decades down the line are cool to see and a welcome little bonus.
I've been using the "arcade colors" hack as my go-to way of playing the game for some time now and absolutely love it. I wasn't so sure about the "double jump" one when it came out, though, but seeing it in action here makes me want to try it out.
Loved. Playing the arcade growing up
