I know his best friend.
He called me and told me that Matt developed breathing problems.
They became worse as they rushed him to the hospital.
Unfortunately he died as they arrived.
I knew Matt also
He was from Rockford, Illinois.

Words can not express how much hell it is to not know where one came from. Imo everyone is entitled to know who their parents are. I am so happy that Matthew has is answers. I went through that myself but know that I am 99% sure of who my birth father is. Well either him or his brother. I am blessed to have a wonderful relationship with my genetically half siblings. But the first 18 years, I had not the slightest clue. God bless Matthew. God bless those who are uncertain. Have a great day y'all.

So happy to see this pop up! I worked through some of this with Matthew a few years ago. He's lived somewhere between Hell & Purgatory for SO long. I'm thrilled he has closure and a whole new chapter of discovery to embark on now! As soon as that pic popped up, I felt sure it's the guy on the right. And Kim ... what an angel!! I have lost more of it recently since my husband passed away after 41years, a TBI and a broken neck. What would I not do to have him back 😕. All the $$ in the world can't!! My 💔 is broken.

No one should be deprived the right to their heritage. It's sad when their family doesn't want to know you even when you don't have ulterior motives. Their loss, you seem like such a nice guy.
Although I was raised by AMAZING parents, finding information about my bio family is BIG to me. I have spoken to my birth mother on the phone only once (25+ yrs ago) but have never met. My birth father's family is MUCH more receptive. Meeting them face to face and recognizing myself in someone brings closure somehow. I also found out through Ancestry dna in Oct. that I have another half sibling. A sister who I can't wait to meet!
@@tammihunter5913 I was lied to until I was 16 by my parents. My dad had a son before that my sister and I were not told about. He and his wife were so forgiving of my dad, and so welcoming to me and my sister Susan! So now my brother and I are close, and I love him, his wife, and his kids very much. I really wish you the best.
Interesting that he found out who his father isn't and who his father could be just prior to his death, but it would have been nice to see who he would have become with the peace of understanding his lineage. Honestly, this seems a bit tragic, but may he rest in peace with our heavenly father.

I used to work with him and he was actually really proud of telling everyone he was Charles Manson son and if you where new at the job he would make sure to tell you that Charles Manson was his father he also made a bit of profit once the National enquirer came in for a 39 minutes interview shed he made $3000 on the spot and he did a whole bunch of them with in the years , Matthew was a really really nice person fun to work with!

A person can't help who their parents are, but I'm glad for Matthew's sake that he's not in any way related to that monster. It's a shame because thinking it was a possibility, held him back.
God Bless and RIP Matthew. At least he was blessed with knowing the truth he looked for before the Lord called him. He said in the last iinterview he and his friend, Kim, did with the final DNA results, he had closure. That was very important to him. He also got a lot of very interesting information about his heritage. He had a rough life on earth. He will have a glorious eternal afterlife.
May Matthew rest in peace. This video is different to watch now. At first it was just a sort of closure but now…it means a lot. I’m so glad he got his answers.

Mathew needs to be checked for pulmonary hypertension.A hernia can put pressure on the lungs and lead to pulmonary hypertension.I have just been diagnosed myself with it.

I've liked Matthew from the first video that I saw about him and I'm so happy to hear that he has finally been able to find closure in his life.

He got his info to heal and unfortunately passed away yesterday during surgery. He was a great guy, unlike Phil Kusabs from New Zealand!!! We all know how _that_ turned out. LOL
@@SoghomonTehlerian1915do you know the story behind him passing? You mentioned passed away during surgery. Please share if you could. Matt and I were childhood friends and very sad to hear he passed. At least he was able to confirm things before he left this life.

Matthew got a hernia and it had become really out of control, because of misdiagnosis.
He eventually had surgery and was recovering well, but had unfortunately developed other problems from the large hernia. One of these problems was his breathing became difficult. He had gone to multiple doctors, but the medication they gave him each time he felt was making it worse, so he was nervous about going back.
On Tuesday he texted his best friend Shanna because he was struggling to breathe, she raced over there, but by the time she got there, sadly Matthew had already passed away.
Sending so much love to you and his other friends and loved ones.

I don't care if he's related to Charlie or not. It's been proven he isn't. Yes, there is an uncanny resemblance, but it ends there. I think Matthew is a very interesting, articulate, well-spoken & talented man. I have no doubt that sitting down with him & having a conversation about life would be a great experience. "First cousin" on Ancestry DNA could be anything, half siblings, aunts and uncles.. Its a close relative but not specific

Seems like a really nice guy. Whether it’s relevant or not he sure has a striking resemblance. Regardless, he’s a way more interesting intelligent and likable person than CM (understatement of course!,)ever was and I wish him all the best! We’re all mutts when it comes to our identities anyway lol.

Man! Genetics are curious little things aren’t they?!? I’m so glad this gentleman (Maffew) found his family. I love how music has traveled through his DNA.
My Grandmother played the cello. This was back in the ‘30’s and ‘40’s, where it was most likely very controversial. My Mom plays the acoustic guitar, and never allowed me to play an instrument. I can kind of play the piano by ear, but I also sang in the choir at school, in church, and in a specialized group in high school. All 4 of my children play *something*. My two oldest are accomplished violinists, my 3rd daughter plays the guitar (electric and acoustic), and my son (who is also on the spectrum) plays the guitar (acoustic, electric, and bass), the keyboard, and produces his own music. He’s 16!
When music is in your DNA, it’s in your blood. I love this so much!
A lot of people in the World have look alikes or twins that arent related or linked by DNA but are the same height, hair color , eye color physical features etc.
Exactly, it happens..yet some people will still ignore the DNA results because he resembles CM.

You always do an amazing job with your videos. In my personal opinion, he does look a lot like Charles Mansion. I could careless if he is or not his son. I find Mathhew's story very interesting. He has every right to find out who his father is. I'm glad he was able to do so.

A very touching interview with Matthew. I wonder if the reason his paternal relatives don't want to share Matthew's dad's DNA is because they think he may make a claim on the dad's estate when he passes? In cases like this, money is usually the reason for the denial.
It's weird- he still looks much more like Manson than either of the two actual potential fathers- all the features. Even his voice is a lot the same. Of the two brothers, he has features more like the youngest one, except for his nose which is very different and more like the older one. I'm glad that he knows.

I also found out through ancestry DNA that my great grandma was from one of the OG Mormon settler families. We knew she ran away from Utah when she was 15 but she never talked about it much. It was funny to do the test and see an overwhelming number of DNA matches from Utah.
same here. that said..paper trails are not proof. add to that, there is a new shake up in DNA testing. it's not 100% definitive either. as it stands, anything 10 generations back, DNA dilutes so much,it's a royal mess. the only truth is...we are are all related even if DNA tests and paper trails are not 100% proof. STRANGE BUT TRUE STUFF 😊

I’ve never seen anyone fight so hard for years wanting to be related to Manson. Most people would run the other way. At least he knows the truth finally.
She makes this sound much harder than it is. Ancestry tells you ALL of the relatives in their system and HOW closely they are related to you. I have uncovered that my paternal grandfather had an illegitimate son, 15 years before my father was born.

When I did DNA through an IBM/National Geographic study, I was told that I would have to get a male from my father’s side to determine my paternal genealogy. I met Matthew maybe six years ago probably longer I saw him sitting at a bus stop I Ventura at around 11 o’clock at night and I actually stopped to chat with him because he look just like Charles Manson to me and then of course we got into that conversation. The one thing I remember is that he was cool AF!
