As someone who resides in West Virginia and knows the history of this family. Mark is the only UA-camr I like to see with them. None of the other ones go there with any intention of doing anything but gaining views. Mark is genuinely just a good guy. And at this point in his career he has made it. The views don’t matter anymore he legitimately has love for this family. Most UA-camrs would have jumped at the drama and used it for views. Mark stepped away during that time. Which further proves to me he has nothing but good intentions! I don’t care what anyone has to say. I know a legitimate good person when I see one.

Yes, he continues to actively build his portfolio with SWU interviews, but ppl forget that he could walk away from all of it and he'd be fine. So dropping the Whittakers to avoid the deep stress and drama that comes from online controversy and deep trolling, wouldn't be a big deal. He was ready to do it. I just think he cooled off, BJ got her shit together, and ppl were able to realize that idiots "spilling the tea" isn't always based upon a real scandal.

I work in the emergency room in a trauma one hospital I've seen hundreds of meth heads I have to say BJ didn't look high and it doesn't look like she has been high the night before so maybe she is doing well, but it won't last unless she gets long term inpatient treatment. I hate to see Mark get screwed over again.
BJ and the other dude were acting weird like they were on some sneaky stuff so I think they are still somehow getting money for their drug habits by staying over there. I can't quite put my finger on it but something ain't right with those two
It was very nice of him. But when Mark told him he missed them and Larry said he (or they) missed him too, mark came back with you missed the money. Larry looked hurt and said come on. As if to say that comment was mean. And it was . Then mark immediately says, “I’m going to sit in this chair. I may have to throw away my clothes afterwards but I’m going to do it. “. If mark came to make peace with this family, why is he making such rude remarks? It makes me lose a lot of respect for him. And makes me think he’s only doing it because he lost followers when he stopped interviewing this family. I really felt they had screwed mark over and I took his side when this first happened but now I think he’s only there for the Whittaker fans to come back to his channel.How pathetic. One thing I notice about the Whittaker’s, they always take good care of their pets. Despite whatever situation they are in, you never see their dogs skinny or sick. Always happy, just like they are. Makes my heart happy. God bless this family
Heh ya That's how people here are. They used to come in, get maybe 4 huge bags of dogfood, one loaf of bread. Tp paper towels. One pack bologna. 4 or 5 bags of dog treats. 3 dog bones.
One dog was hit by car. They didn't even get it to a vet. Mark had to get it done. They had plenty of money to do so. Timmy is in a video kicking one of the dogs.

They within their own personality (because let’s remember their still human beings) develop or learn “their” own way of communicating. Mark has such a genuine connection with this family, it's absolutely heartwarming. So respectful, but curious. I get the sense he genuinely enjoys spending time with them. Love the fascination he has with them, that the viewers can all share in with him.

She was using Betty's phone to contact him and Betty didn't tell him it wasn't true and while this stuff was happening another UA-camr had came out to see them and started saying that marks go fund me was being kept for himself since they didn't have a new house. Nobody spoke up for Mark to mention how much money he was consistently giving them, basically preventing it from building up to be enough for a new house. Mark has given them his own personal money outside of the gofundme funds. That's as abridged as I can make it

I am from the same area this lovely family is from. I will say, drugs is a huge problem there. Over the last 20 years or so, this place has gone to shit. It changes people. And it hurts families and relationships. I am sober now for almost 9 years. Best 9 years of my life. I pray BJ and her kids do better and keep it up. It's extremely hard when drugs are all around you. I love the Whittakers and pray for them. Mark, when you said you were going to sit down but may have to throw away your clothes, that is so rude. I would like to see BJ enter an inpatient drug treatment facility. I know it’s her choice and I know it probably costs a fortune but I feel this is her best option. She may want to do better but it won’t happen as long as that monkey is on her back.
Ive been watching the Whitaker's ever since SWU started filming them. And I have grown to care about them all. Ray always brings a smile to my face. Hes always so excited to see Mark. ❤ So glad Betty is ok and survived her heart attack.

Mark I am so glad that things worked out with the Whitakers. I have missed their videos. I was born and raised in Parkersburg, W.Va. I never new anybody like them and was never exposed to drugs of any kind. I left there right after my High School graduation and moved to Arizona where I have lived ever since. Thank you Mark.
I saw this family on some other channel a long time ago and thought (at the time) how messed up they were. Mark does a great job of getting to know them…would never have thought how much of Ray and Timmy’s great personalities would come through like it has.
The fact that he still does anything for them is amazing because they've drug him through the mud a few times but he's got too big of a heart to stop being himself.
My dad’s family is similar like this… very poor… in VA. The housing situation was similar. My dad ran away when he was 14 or 15 years old… he had to in order to survive. It truly humbled me and my life. I love my family… both sides (mom & Dad). I lost my dad a couple of years ago. It is one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through. I’m glad my dad is at rest now . But I sure miss him

I grew up like your dad but in Louisiana. Married my English teacher at 16 and ran to Dallas. Gad my first daughter at 17 got divorced and joined the marines at 19. It was tough but I’m now married 14 years to my second wife and now have four beautiful daughters. I can assure you he was a good, hardworking fella! Sorry for your loss!

She was using Betty's phone to contact him and Betty didn't tell him it wasn't true and while this stuff was happening another UA-camr had came out to see them and started saying that marks go fund me was being kept for himself since they didn't have a new house. Nobody spoke up for Mark to mention how much money he was consistently giving them, basically preventing it from building up to be enough for a new house. I am from the same area this lovely family is from. I will say, drugs is a huge problem there. Over the last 20 years or so, this place has gone to shit. It changes people. And it hurts families and relationships. I am sober now for almost 9 years. Best 9 years of my life. I pray BJ and her kids do better and keep it up. It's extremely hard when drugs are all around you. I love the Whittakers and pray for them.

My dad’s family is similar like this… very poor… in VA. The housing situation was similar. My dad ran away when he was 14 or 15 years old… he had to in order to survive. It truly humbled me and my life. I love my family… both sides (mom & Dad). I lost my dad a couple of years ago. It is one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through. I’m glad my dad is at rest now . But I sure miss him
