Im glad you cleaned that mesh looking thingy ... ( oil pick up screen) .. this will save your engine too ... if she runs rough check the timing and syncro as twin carbs ... probably done this but perhaps check jets in your carbs they might need tweeking ... you will get there just keep ticking that to do list off and soon you will be killing the mud trails ... nice going
Hi Rather, happy you got your tires, you were loosing power to all your switches, most likely you have a break in the positive or negative wire, It may look like the wires are ok because of the outer coating but it can be broken inside, ounce you moved the wires around it made contact again so check/replace those wires so you don't have problems down the road
It looks way better, I would've went with something like some holeshots but I have a place to ride where it doesn't matter how much dirt gets ripped up and I wouldn't ride it on pavement. Glad to see it getting close to finished, I hope it preforms as good as it looks.
Mad max feel to the frantFront suspension looks awesome dude whatever those guys were saying they didn't know they were talking about it looks even better now and I love watching your videos
A little soapy water will make the tires go on way easier. Also if you have one cylinder not running right i wouldn't be riding it. I mentioned before but i would check to make sure the pilot jets are clean or carbs may need synchronized.
The rough idle of #2 could be not enough ventilation in the tank for gravity feed. That tank was build for a 1 carb engine. Take the cap off and see if that fixes it. If it still idles crappy, then it carb adjustment time.
I really don't think you need to mess with the gearing. You said yourself, the 2nd cylinder either doesn't run, or runs like CRAP. Get both cylinders firing to their potential and you should have PLENTY of power. Keep up the good work. Looks good and coming along nicely :)
Those tires look pretty good , my Sears FF/20 has 26 x12x12 and they are huge , they would look like pro Street meats on that kart ... Lol , but your doing a great job , keep up the good work .
I would definitely see about reusing a wiring harness, premade for a motorcycle, and modify it slightly to work for you, and you can add turn signals too.
You can't have the fan connected to the switch. The fan pulls too many amps for even the best switch. (I learned this from experience) put in a relay. Also, as long as you have that loose spaghetti mess of wires, you WILL have electrical issues. Shorten your wires, run only what you need, and solder all connections and use shrink tubing. Run all wires in plastic looms. Do this, and you will have trouble free use.
Hey man I like your videos. I do the exact same stuff you do. Lol. One little thing that might in the future wen airing up the tire. Is ratchet straps around the tire. It makes setting the beat a little easier but i definitely like the way you did the first one. Unfortunately I don't have an air compressor of that capacity. Lol.
Good call on the gearing. I would much rather have it geared too low and be able to at least stop on a hill vs too high and be doing 20mph at idle. Good work bro!!!
You still need to make a little A frame to go in front of the rear wheels to keep from getting small trees in front of the rear wheels in tight fast trails. Or get ready for repairs and a quick stop and a bent axle.
I've never seen Tyres go on a rim that fast and then bead just like that...Dame i have professional electronic one and a tyre balancer, you're way is just as fast. but you didn't balance them. That will cause problems in the future if you going to play ruff and fast, But only mainly will cause problems for the front ones. Nice video keep it up!
Your engine trouble sounds like either the rings or the valve seats/valves are clapped out. A little dish soap on the bead will help the tires seat a lot easier and washes off over time. A little lube goes a long way.
Quick question: is your airbox supported, or is it simply hanging off the carbs? If it's not supported, find a way of doing it, otherwise the weight of the airbox hanging off the carbs would split your shiny new intake manifolds!
The reason one of your headlights is not as bright as the other is because either when connecting or running the wire for the light you either have a loose, or not a full connection somewhere in the harness, otherwise you have a weak ground on the light itself
You are not correct ive worked a tire shop 5 plus years did things with the right tools and had some stubborn tires and stretching you have to use this method even with a cheetah.
What "happened" was that you probably had a bad connection or a wire that was/is broken internally and making an intermittent connection. Soapy water makes it much easier to install the tires. You are struggling too hard, unnecessarily. LOL! Take the rim/tire outside, DO NOT STAND OVER IT, add a bit more ether or whatever you have that's flammable, then light it and pop that tire onto the rim. P.S. Beware of tires falling from the sky if you use a bit too much flammable stuff.
It looks like you've done an awesome job on the buggy...however...you really need to fix that rats nest of wiring. It's a fire hazard. If you used the harness from the bike there should be a proper fuse box. There is nothing worse than being out on fun ride and the f'n thing quits because of a wiring problem. Also...lube man lube, tires would go together by hand with some dish soap and water mix
That gearing may be a bit too much - every ONE tooth you change on the front is the equal to FOUR on the rear.... so when you loose 2 up front, it's the same as adding 8 to the back, and THEN you went and bought a sprocket thats 7 more in the back??????? 15 more teeth to the back is going to make "This thing" into a rock crawler, too slow non-usable gearing for like 1st & 2nd gear and your top speed is going to be cut in half in 5th or 6th......... Thats way too big of a change, it was prolly fine the way it was, the bikes rear tire was HUGE in total circumference compared to those "New" larger rear tires still - you just need to learn to wing-it up and dump the clutch and ride that buggy like it should be ridden!!! once you learn how to ride with a clutch and manual trans properly and quit being so timid, you'll hate that new gearing..................
Im glad you cleaned that mesh looking thingy ... Definitely not too big, they look pretty fitting. Possibly even a little bigger, but I realize you aren't made of money. Looking great!

🖒👍2 thumbs up to the bigger tires. Maybe the next step is 4 wheeler or atv tires possibly????
ken baker, sand rail tires for sand dunes would be cool also
but i smell wires burning now. lol
The videos you make inspire me to create things like this. I love watching the videos
a wire probably grounded out on the tubing. might wanna use some heatshrink and/or electrical tape on all joining connections. Great project bro!

ben hawke true, a vaccum will make it run choppy as the carbs struggle to get fuel. Have a great day bro
ben hawke dang man I never thought of that
Can you sent to me your number l wont to make car l wont your help
Yeah, those tires look friggin great. Keep em!

You should get like a plastic box and put all the wires that u crammed into that little space so it would look nicer
Add grounds , ground the battery- to the frame. Ground frame to the engine. Lots of grounds
Thank you for sharing the video NICE CAR
Bro don't let the haters get to you watch ur first build to what you have came to now bro your doing awesome 😎
Those tires look pretty good , my Sears FF/20 has 26 x12x12 and they are huge , they would look like pro Street meats on that kart ... Lol , but your doing a great job , keep up the good work .
The rear tires look perfect. Not too big at all. Okay, maybe a little skinny but overall they look great
do the damn thang! Can't wait to see more.
Those pool noodle floaties would be nice addition to the metal tubes you used to make chassis
I would definitely see about reusing a wiring harness, premade for a motorcycle, and modify it slightly to work for you, and you can add turn signals too.
Simply amazing love your videos and thank you
I love the awkward moments when you stop talking and just look at the camera :D

Also, use a little dish soap mixed with a little water on the beads, makes putting tires on easier
Love the tire heaters.

use soapy water when fitting tires, reduces bead damage, makes the bead seal better and makes it easier when fitting.
Good call on the gearing. I would much rather have it geared too low and be able to at least stop on a hill vs too high and be doing 20mph at idle. Good work bro!!!
nice! lol I would put the old rear tires on the front. it will work even better
i love his workspace so much
those tires are awesome! love your vids man im so jealous of that go kart
You still need to make a little A frame to go in front of the rear wheels to keep from getting small trees in front of the rear wheels in tight fast trails. Or get ready for repairs and a quick stop and a bent axle.
Tires look awesome

soapy water will help alot puting the tires on the rim😉
Perfect size for what your going to need out in the woods
Get something on the tires when you put them on the wheel. Wd40 soapy water something and you won't need to beat the wheel.
Looking realy good!
They look great!
Get the same tires for the front to, to improve clearance height, for better off roading. You will be able to clear rougher trails.
Your engine trouble sounds like either the rings or the valve seats/valves are clapped out. A little dish soap on the bead will help the tires seat a lot easier and washes off over time. A little lube goes a long way.
You need to build a box to put the wiring in. You also had a short touching the frame somewhere get box to put wiring and put wire in wire loom.
Add a waterproof fuse panel and some strong wire shielding. There's a lot of power in that battery
Quick question: is your airbox supported, or is it simply hanging off the carbs? If it's not supported, find a way of doing it, otherwise the weight of the airbox hanging off the carbs would split your shiny new intake manifolds!
Wouldn't split them, would just pop out of the carb boots.
Study up on kingpin inclination, caster, camber and bump steer. Look at front steering of racing karts, sprint cars and off road racers.
A lot of screw ups mean a lot is being learned
And man this kid is learning a lot
Looks awesome man!
Keep up the Great work!!!!!!!!!!!
I've got to say, you're a much more patient person than I am
you are doing good bro so keep it up.
One headlight brighter check your ground or power supply make sure you have a good connection.
need the carburetors synced, but YAY making progress!!!
Awesome work...
That looks soooo much better
NO THEY ARE PERFECT I SWEAR ITS SO COOL
The tie rod should match the angle of the lower arms to keep steering ergonomics properly.
Soapy water helps getting the rubber on the rims
Looks sick
Were the tires that u had a the back bigger than the ones at the front? If yes, put the old tires from the rear to the front
One light brighter than the other check ground.
You should put sand rail tires on it and go to the dunes in in Arizona or somewhere sandy that would be cool, but sand rail tires are really expensive
a little murphy oil soap on the tire beads would make it easier to mount the tires.
Are you addicted to the lawnmower tire design??
Probably addicted to NOT spending $300+ for friggin go kart tires.. i know I am.
needle valve left carb probably has residue on it or the seat is wallered or the needle is bent ..check the valve
The reason one of your headlights is not as bright as the other is because either when connecting or running the wire for the light you either have a loose, or not a full connection somewhere in the harness, otherwise you have a weak ground on the light itself
Try a little soapy water when mounting your tires.
The carbs need synced... thats what your left cylinder is failing. The sync works off vacuum
Now if you drop the sprocket size, you will need to put in the two speed axle transmission.
Really really nice👍
You need a big tire... Oh... Ok, you did It...
It is the solenoid that went bad that y nothing works just take a peace of metal and put it between the two bulbs that go to the solenoid
Water and soap makes it a lot easier to put on tires.
You see ..... never give up
If you try using starting fluid to bead a tire the valve stem has to be in it
Justin Jones your supposed to take em out or you can blow your shit up
You are not correct ive worked a tire shop 5 plus years did things with the right tools and had some stubborn tires and stretching you have to use this method even with a cheetah.
It runs great
Lol the old 6v bulb and 12v bulb trick.
It will be fine send it with regearing it first and then decide.
maybe its a bad master switch and when you took it apart you bumped it the right way and now it works
Hi Chris how did you do the top of the motorcycle forks. witch video show how you did them or can you just please tell me how you did them thanks.
Well your getting there,Slowing but surly
I have a Suzuki of my own and whenever it gets hot it does the same thing as yours does. So it could be a Suzuki thing
Those big rear tires it'll give you more traction?
What "happened" was that you probably had a bad connection or a wire that was/is broken internally and making an intermittent connection. Soapy water makes it much easier to install the tires. You are struggling too hard, unnecessarily.
LOL! Take the rim/tire outside, DO NOT STAND OVER IT, add a bit more ether or whatever you have that's flammable, then light it and pop that tire onto the rim. P.S. Beware of tires falling from the sky if you use a bit too much flammable stuff.
Let's go first like I love the chanel keep it up
You need to put a motorcycle speedometer on it
What if your 1300lbs buggy ends up nose first in a ditch- isn’t a reverse kind of a necessity?
you should try to put independent suspension
You should put a light bar on top
Shorten the front swing arms by like 1.5-2 inches
Its look good on it
Spoke to soon didnt hear about sprocket things gonna be slow but you'll probably need it to get up stuff
The caster angle of your front suspension looks like it needs some consideration.
Also...lube man lube, tires would go together by hand with some dish soap and water mix
how much would it cost ruffly to do just frame and tires
you could have a brake in one or more wires thats causing it not to work
Sweet and nice like candy
The tires are WAY over inflated. You don't have a full contact patch. Bring them down to 15 psi.
Turn the fan on after it runs or battery will go dead faster.
Eclidean the bike may have had larger tires, but it weighed a lot less than the cart, thats why the gearing doesnt work like it did on the bike
OK, but FIFTEEN TEETH of a change???
Eclidean your right lmao dont trip bro
torque > top speed not saying your wrong, but I would be fine with sacrificing top speed for enough torque so the thing can climb some hills
I agree, gearing it down would make it more rideable in the woods. More fun to get it sideways too.
There was probably a exposed wire that was touching the frame
