^ This. A lot of beating anything challenging in a game is practice, practice, practice. I die a lot. I died a lot on this boss. This is just the end result. If you're able to beat Hollow Knight or clear the final pantheon or several other challenges in the game that's still an impressive accomplishment to be proud of.
I was nearing 300 hours when Godmaster released from old nail runs and pre-Godmaster challenges. I worked on Hall of Gods when Godmaster released and did pantheons to unlock bosses, going back to clear pantheons when I beat the end boss on radiant. I forget if I did radiant Absolute Radiance first or completed pantheon of Hallownest but it was about the same time. I did get destroyed by Sly, Pure Vessel, and Absolute Radiance when I first fought them.
Wow 300 hours . I started playing last year so i already had godmaster dlc and got rekt by oro and mato the 1st time as well as Pure vessel . Somehow i got past Sly on the first try by clutching it .
Although this looks super hard, it's pretty good tbh. Like how the pale prince leaves both light and void trail, the rain shower with the pale prince floating (needs balancing tho). Of all crazy variant bosses, this is my favourite.
Hilda has good animation. The story could be improved though. It's all very simple and straight forward. I think DuckTales has better animation, and Star Vs the Forces of Evil has a better story. Hilda is like a cute and dumbed down version of Adventure Time mixed with Gravity Falls.

@@ivankoshan5104 it just means you have to save up on soul, I think that's pretty clever and forces a lot of people out of their comfort zones, I'm on pantheon of hallownest and I've only just started using my soul attacks more often, if there was a boss that forced me to do just that than I would have a better idea on how to properly use them

Thank you and congrats on beating Pale Prince on Tuesday! This mod kept drawing me back in for more attempts from how fun it was. As much as I fell for it throughout attempts, I still really like the fake out lunge.
The base fight is difficult, this mod is more show than actually difficulty since a good number of the moddified attacks can still be avoided using the method for the original fight. Also there are a few new attacks that are easier to dodge. Really only 2 attacks make this fight harder

He also gains a trail here His 3 slash combo has a trail and shoots three blades going in his direction His dash has two variation, a normal one with a trail and a "fake out" type where he dashes and does it again in quick succession Jumps in a parabola with a trail He spits void, there are 2 variations, one acts the the original Hollow Knights infection spit attack, the other is like a big sheet of void His void tendrils shoot void as well He levitates in the air, summoning trailing blades in a grid like way

I have a really cool challenge using a glitch I just discovered by mistake; go to absrad bossfight, and a bit before absrad shows up in person start charging dreamnail up to teleport, then it will make you teleport out of the fight into the hall of gods when the shaking starts, which will make your screen endlessly shake until you exit and come back or start absrad bossfight again. using this glitch fight any boss and they will become so much tougher
Alright then, fight the Primal Aspid on Radiant Difficulty. Also, this looked extremely hard, amazing job with this, as the outcome looks awesome, you are of godly power level. This is what people can achieve if you practice enough huh? Another also, that dark spray attack is very hard to see!
And I thought I was good for beating Absolute Radiance. Sheesh. I can't even process what's happening until it's already passed, and you manage to only get hit three times! Unbelievable.
having this in the actual game would be so cool, both for the gameplay and the lore. Like having an alternate reality were the pure vessle instead of being used to contain the infection became the pale prince
We know HK probably had to make it through Path of Pain in order to meet the Pale King's qualifications. I think it would be really cool if someone designed a modded Pure Vessel that kited through the Path of Pain as you fought it, so you had to navigate Path of Pain and fight at the same time. Also, it might take advantage of some of the obstacles to dodge attack and such. Ofc, it also sounds incredibly difficult to make and I don't have even close to the skills necessary to make it, but it would be awesome if someone did.
For me the hardest holow Knight Boss fight was the pure vessel , It was even harder then the NGK . Just loking at this makes me want to cry because i Just realised i sukc at this game . Congrats Men yure a legend .

Coming up on 170 hours and I have the first two pantheons beats with all bindings. 3 bindings away from 5 lifeblood masks per resting room. I’ve beat all bosses on radiant save 2 currently. And I can guarantee this guy would kick my ass for a few hours before I started to get the hang of it.
You know, this fight is 80% better then most "Boss but harder" mods, because unlike those, this one uses a unique take for each attack, instead of just "Hurr durr boss but faster"
ok I like how Pure Prince uses his shadow abilities as well also his death was too quick, like, it's kind of crazy You know.. I know it's a game. But the graphics are so cinematic that I don't know anymore this game and fanbase is so cool
For games like these I don't know why I can be a stickler for perfection but when I see the actual fight and taking some damage adds more drama it feels like I'm watching anime fight scene☺
It took me like 2 days to beat him the first time and another day for the 2nd + 3rd and here you are making all of my life achievements insignificant. Seriously tho, cool fight, cool boss, cool CrankyTemplar.
Just beating Pure Vessel is quite the feat. I remember getting destroyed the first time I reached Pure Vessel and after practicing the fight in the Hall of Gods until I could win on radiant was one of the most enjoyable parts of Godmaster. Good luck with your future boss fights!

Actually this boss does 2 dm on default, and 4 dm at attune, so he's actually doing at the lowest difficulty..
Atuned is the lowest difficulty , ascended is double damage and radiant is 1shot .

It always amazes me how the bosses use the same attacks over and over again in hollow knight and yet i still want to throw my controller at the TV

go to absrad bossfight, and a bit before absrad shows up in person start charging dreamnail up to teleport, then it will make you teleport out of the fight into the hall of gods when the shaking starts, which will make your screen endlessly shake until you exit and come back or start absrad bossfight again.
using this glitch fight any boss and they will become so much tougher

We know HK probably had to make it through Path of Pain in order to meet the Pale King's qualifications. I think it would be really cool if someone designed a modded Pure Vessel that kited through the Path of Pain as you fought it, so you had to navigate Path of Pain and fight at the same time. Also, it might take advantage of some of the obstacles to dodge attack and such.
Ofc, it also sounds incredibly difficult to make and I don't have even close to the skills necessary to make it, but it would be awesome if someone did.
For me the hardest holow Knight Boss fight was the pure vessel , It was even harder then the NGK . Just loking at this makes me want to cry because i Just realised i sukc at this game . Congrats Men yure a legend .

Coming up on 170 hours and I have the first two pantheons beats with all bindings. 3 bindings away from 5 lifeblood masks per resting room. I’ve beat all bosses on radiant save 2 currently. And I can guarantee this guy would kick my ass for a few hours before I started to get the hang of it.

You know, this fight is 80% better then most "Boss but harder" mods, because unlike those, this one uses a unique take for each attack, instead of just "Hurr durr boss but faster"

Just beating Pure Vessel is quite the feat. I remember getting destroyed the first time I reached Pure Vessel and after practicing the fight in the Hall of Gods until I could win on radiant was one of the most enjoyable parts of Godmaster. Good luck with your future boss fights!
