What I love about this mod the most, is that all of these bosses feel like they should have already been there. They all have lore, you come across all of them in some way, and they all have a significant role in the hollownest. This is absolutely amazing! Even the music is brilliant and matched each of them. These modders need to be part of Team Cherry. Someone needs to write them a big ass check for bringing this masterpiece.
While the makers are clearly talented, that is like saying an author should have to pay fanfic writers if the fanfic they write is good. That is silly.

I love how you can get a glimpse of some of the characters history and lore from their boss fights if you look deep enough: -Isma is a fighter that tries to control an area as much as possible which is a great compliment to Ogrim since he focuses his might on grounded attacks. -Ze’mer incorporates some moves similar to The Mantis Lords and Traitor Lord likely because she has experience with Mantis culture and fighting styles because her girlfriend was Traitor Lord’s daughter. -Dryya is quick and agile and often comes in at an angle; which is the best way to fight off mantises which we know she died doing to protect the White Lady -Hegemol is brash and powerful; which one him many battles. Though he is quite slow and predictable making him a target for the maggots who killed him and stole his armor to defend themselves. -Tiso’s constant assortment of what I like to call “random bullsh*t go!” is likely how he got so far in the Coliseum of Fools as such tactics would thrive in such a frantic environment (except in close quarters with a Brooding Mawlek) I might just be reading too much into the designs of their attacks and the lore of each character; but I like to think that level of detail was put in, and if it was the creator of the mod did a fantastic job-in both making entertaining bosses-and in communicating a story with every boss fight.

I don’t believe Hegemol was killed at all to be honest. I think his fate was left up to interpretation and his death is only a leading theory, not a fact.
I was skeptical when the fight was spoiled a few months ago, didn't sound balanced but was very happy to be wrong, in my opinion it's probably the second best fight in the mod behind mystic.
Man, it is remarkable that people put this much skill and effort into free mods instead of making their own game. They clearly have the skills to do it. This is as much a testament to their character as to how cool HK's world is to keep the community this attached to it.

I think they used the Hollow Knight model and animations as a base for designing her fight. (The same way the False Knight was the base for Hegemol, although that makes a lot more sense.)
Isma's boss fight may make someone think that she is responsible for the plant life in green path(for people who don't know much about the lore) or maybe not since all know that this is fan made.

I tried to dream nail for Dryya but it didn’t work for me? I have the mod on and I managed to do Hegemol and Mysterious Ze’mer but when I do Dryya, it’ll load in for a half second and then kick me back out to the main map locked into the laying down / teleported position until I move again.
I saw someone with the same issue, and it had something to do with modded maps? I’m not sure, but they said that they uninstalled those maps and the glitch is fixed
Isma reminds me of a boss from Mega Man Z 4. The plant mechanoid girl, i don't remember her name, but she did a similar trick with the plants to add more hazards
I noticed that all the great knights have a move or more like the pure vessel's except for Hemgol whose boss fight is a modified version of false knight/fallen champion boss fight which is to me a bit disappointing.

It's actually probably most OP against against vanilla bosses like lost kin and PV which stagger very quickly, and because of its effect on spells (it reduces boss s windows as a whole, meaning spells like shriek and shade soul will hit more times than they should).
For PC bosses I would say it's really really good against hegemol, pretty good against ogrisma, and mediocre against the rest of the bosses due to short damage windows anyways

No, since Isma's tear (fruit) gives you her immunity to acids which happens by repelling the acids around you.
I think there are some kind of beetles immune to acid, but i'm not sure. Though, it would be a nice detail that both beetles fight you together.
I don't understand why Ze'mer did not challenge the Absolute Radiance directly. She could have saved the kingdom easily.
Could be that she cannot wield the dream blade for some reason and thus literally cannot save the kingdom no matter how strong she is

I'm not sure why that happens but that is a noted bug. You might try the Pale Court discord to see what the status of it is.
