Your videos are great! I sat down with my 78 year old granny, who has never seen the Internet, and you taught her and I a new pattern! It was an experience that I will always hold dear in my heart.
OMGosh, i finally did it! Thank you so much for your video, your patience and all your help. I am now on row 6, doing it all by myself and correctly too because i can tell now if i'm doing it right or wrong, lol. Previously i'd keep on while being puzzled and every ripple pattern i tried was a failure and i knew it would be except for one which gave me a very slight wave. Just before your video i tried yet another pattern and it too simply didn't make any sense to me so i gave up once again thinking the pattern was wrong. Thanks so much for explaining as you did as we went. That meant the world to me; i understood everything you said and did and your pace was perfect. I'm 76 and i've been crocheting for awhile and amazed at myself for doing a ripple right finally!
Thank you for posting this video on You Tube. I am making adult and baby throws by using this pattern. This video has given me how to approach this stitch appropriately. When I make a granny ripple scarf or throw, I prefer to use a multicolor yarn.
Hi Yolanda from Ireland I know this is an older video, but I wanted you to know it's the best explanation of the granny ripple I've found, I always go. Back to this, I have watched you for years love all you do, thanks so much, stay well and safe xxx
I was searching for crochet granny Ripple easy to make so i came out to your video. thank you for your tutorial, easy to follow and very detailed. I made an afghan for my client since she had a lot of yarns and cannot do it by herself. And so she was very happy for it.
I would like to thank you for this wonderful tutorial of how to crochet the Granny Ripple stitch. You are an amazing teacher and human being for taking your time and energy to teach beginners like me how to do this stitch. I've been wanting to crochet a Granny Ripple blanket for each (3) of my grandchildren Thank you again for taking the time to make this wonderful tutorial. God Bless you and your family, today and always!! :)
Thanks so much for finishing out your rows and showing how to make the turn...thanks for all the explaining...that helps also..now ready to create my own blankets..keep up the great work...
Awesome, so glad to have someone online to show people how to crochet beginner style. I've been crocheting for years but I can see how frustrating it would be for beginners to follow most to the instructions given by other UA-camrs. Thanks
You are by far my absolute favorite UA-cam Crocheter. Thank you for another great tutorial. I love your videos and have crocheted many items from them. I love you!!
I just wanted to say thank you so much for your videos. You are by far my most favorite crochet "teacher". As a child I was taught to crochet but only given one pattern to learn. Now that I'm older I love learning new patterns and challenging myself. I just finished making this blanket for my friend's grandson and I have to say it came out great! Thanks again!
Thank you very much for the tutorial, never thought that it was very easy. Now my blanket is in progress. I use silky cotton yarn which is tropical climate friendly Thanks again and stay safe.. ❤Love from Indonesia.
I looked up many of this blanket pattern, and I came back to you. I'm following you as you go along. I'm so excited in making this blkt., I just can't wait to get it finished. Thank you, thank you for your great tutorials. The other grannys are so boring. This pattern is great. Hugs...
Thank you Yolanda I really enjoy this tutorial will be making a cover blanket for my Mom who is a Nascar Jimmy Johnson fan with all the colors of his race car this is going to be not only a fun project but also a labor of love for my Mom for her Christmas present. Thanks again and God bless you also.
I don't know if I have improve on my crochet understanding or you have improve so much as a crochet teacher!!! I didn't have a problem making the blanket, it was perfect!! Thank you!!!
I love your pattern and your instructions. I looked at a number of these stitches and found yours most satisfactory; especially the closeness of stitch. And; I don’t like weaving in ends. So I’m doing this blanket in rows of 4. It’s a toddler size (50 x 50) and looks good that way. Thnx!
Hi Yolanda, don’t know if you’ll see my comment as this video was posted 4 years ago. I want to thank you for this design and for explaining it so well!🌷. I will start an Afghan as soon as I finish a baby blanket I’m making from one of your beautiful patterns. 🌸
Like several others, I would like to see and print out the written directions for this awesome Ripple Granny blanket -- it takes so long to watch the video. I have to say that you put together an excellent video with excellent teaching. Thank you!
Hi Yolanda I know this is an older video, but, I wanted you to know I always refer back to your tutorial on this pattern, it's the easiest to follow, thanks so much, stay well blessings from Ireland 🌸🌸
thank you Yolanda...as i am currently crocheting a blouse im doind by sight...not following a tutorial, its granny stitch. so i googled the chevron pattern and came across your video here which is conveniently granny chevron.... im all giggly inside with excitement.

Excellent tutorial. Thank you so much. You were very clear and I understood everything you were saying. I would have liked to see the full afghan though. I just love those colors together.
Best video I've found on the granny ripple pattern! I love that you explain in detail and do close ups of the usual mistakes I would have made! Saved me a lot of time and made me realize what I was missing by trying to read a pattern! Thanks Yolanda! Love your videos. I have subscribed on my iPad but guess I have to do it again on my MAC AIR. No problem!!
I love the detail that you provide. I often have a hard time knowing exactly which stitch to skip, or counting stitches and your videos really help with that.
I really want to make this, and since it's so stinken hot to get to my yarn right now...I'm just gonna go buy more. Shh....thank you, for sharing, amiga!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. Your instructions and the visual are clear and easy to follow. I have started a blanket and although it's not as neat as yours I'm really happy with it!! Thank you!
Thank you so much for making it so easy to learn and enjoy crocheting. I have never crocheted but, have recently started since my Mom is an avid crocheter but, she was absolutely impressed with your tutorials that are so easy to follow. Keep them coming!!
Your video was wonderful. You give very clear instructions. This is going to be my next project. Hopefully get some done by Christmas for gifts. Thanks alot.
I've really wanted to try this pattern for a long time because I keep seeing such lovely images of it. You were the first channel I came to and sure enough, here's a pattern! You're amazing :) Thank you for sharing.

Thank you so much for this Video, I have been crocheting a long time but never did anything except granny squares and double crochet afghans but about 2 years ago I started trying new things. When I saw this pattern on Pinterest I knew I wanted to make it BUT the way that crocheter did it I would have wound up with a triangle afghan HAHAHA and since I'm making a king sized afghan for a gift I knew that wouldn't work ^_^ your tutorial was well made and so easy to follow. i will subscribe and look to you the next time i need help :) Thank you ^_^
Thank you sooooooooooo much for making this video!!! I am making a granny ripple blanket for a customer to purchase and ive had to remake this blanket about three times and your video helped me get the end correct so they didn't look funny

Yolanda, I love your tutorial on this pattern! I have done this with a different pattern but it did not leave a nice edge like yours. It had a border which no matter what I did rippled. I have used your tutorials before and they are always very well explained. Thank you!
This is a great tutorial on the Granny Ripple! One thing I've learned (recently) was to use the Russian Join or Magic Knot for joining different colors yarn, or new skein. Love it! Makes it so neat and easy enough to do as you go. Nancy S.
Im happy to find someone who holds their hook like I do. everyone else holds it like a stick. I cant do that. Holding it like a pen seems so much easier to me.
Linda explicación 😊Gracias 👍 los 5 puntos de separación se sigue haciendo en todas las vueltas del derecho y en revés lo mismo explicado. Gracias y lindo Arte ❤
