My 1976 FET (FIELD EFFECT TRANSISTOR) G110 is the most versatile amp you can get your hands on. And I'm a tube guy! Talk about clean to a very desirable biting break up with pick dynamics...no wonder the Rolling Stones dug this amp! The bass in this closed back, front ported cab is very punchy. It gets loud! Sweet, tamable Reverb, and Tremolo that sounds as good with my Wurlitzer 120 piano and Farfisa F.A.S.T.-4 COMBO ORGAN as it does my 61' Gibson Les Paul Jr.with P90's. Next to my brother's 71' Fender Princeton it sounds just as professional, has great character, and keeps up with the Princeton's duel 6v6's. His 74' Les Pauls humbuckers sound amazing through the G110. It's also a good pedal amp. DON'T KNOW IF THE G-212 CAN MATCH THAT TALL ORDER. NOBODY HAS DEMOED ONE VERY WELL. There is however a good G-110 demo on UA-cam. No Reverb or Tremolo. Great demo worth a look. 😊
I have the same in 412 config. I long discarded the amp and use the sealed enclosure with a tube amp. It's equipped with the same Celestion type as Vintage Marshall 1982 cabinets. Yes, the type of speakers that are sold 400-500 each on Reverb. The quality enclosure and top notch speakers make this a very neat cabinet
Hi there! Nice video! I would like to send a private message, but I really couldn't do it with this new user interface here... :/ Well, here is my story. I own this very amp, but, unfortunately, mine is pretty roughly modified... :( Previous owner used it for bass, changed the speaker with 15-inch one, and somehow messed up its dimensions :'( So I would really appreciated if you could send the right dimensions for this beautiful amp, so I could turn it back to it's original state. Thanx!
I have used one of these for 20 years. It weighs more than a small rhinoceros

This is a true statement. I picked up a g110 randomly and it is the best amp I own. And I’m a gear NERD!!!
I've had the G 4-12 since 1979 & its the most versatile amp ever. Reverb dials in exact Mick Taylor sound on Can't you hear me Knocking.
