I have the 100 pack...I personally numbered and named mine because 1. I'm extra 2. I wanted them organized so I wouldn't go crazy figuring out which shade I want

@@marinellsalvador2187 I'm just printing them out on sticker paper, swatching a small square of it and naming them. But you could easily just use copy paper and scotch tape and it will basically be the same thing. Alot of time and effort but so satisfying for me atm. (ik this is and old post sorry)
I labeled mine too and I only have the 20 pack because it was driving me crazy! I personally had some blank labels left over from a previous job, and I would put them in my electric typewriter and then cut them into strips. Boom. Labels :)
I didn’t even know these existed!! This makes my planner/third grade teacher heart happy. 💜
I love this review! My youngest grandson loves to draw and doodle and grandma never has the right shade of some color. 100 colors would definitely help!! I’m happy with my highlighters and click art pens for my planner.
Oh and I love the “I’m not going to play now Lu Lu” as you reach down and launch the toy for kitty to retrieve 🤣
Lulu is so polite! When Princess wants to play she tells me very loudly. And sometimes she drags her "kill" (wand toys, usually) down the hall in the middle of the night, singing the song of her people.

Thank you for the video comparison, Cindy. Really, really appreciate how you went into details and covered everything that I wanted to know. Been hemming and hawing over whether to get Mildliners or Tombows or Crayola Supertips to add some color (and to highlight text) in my journal. My frugal side wanted me to get the Crayolas but I'm in the grips of "FOMO" at the moment about Tombows/Mildliners. (YES I do go back to rewatch your FOMO videos, by the way!) To be honest right now the FOMO for me is for the Hobonichi.... constantly seeing people show the stuff they've gotten, and seeing a lot of the Hobonichi things/books/accessories getting sold out in my local online shop has me twitching to buy too. But it's insanity, because it costs so much and also I do journaling (as in, pages of lengthy writing and reflection) so I don't need a planner-type thing -- certainly not a dated one! I need to stop watching other people's hauls!
PS I agree with Yesenia, would LOVE a Tombow & Supertips comparison!!!
I’ve found that the tip on the Super Tips wears down pretty quickly and I don’t have a heavy hand really at all. This is especially true if you do faux calligraphy with them.
Truth 😀 but they’re only $0.15 cents each if you buy the 100 set, so I can live with them wearing down quickly. Pretty versatile markers for the price too
Do you think they would wear down quickly if just used as a highlighter?

I find the Mildliners overrated, even more now that I’ve seen the comparison with the Supertips. I expected Mildliners to actually be mild colors and in reality they look like markers to me. Would love to see a markers thunder dome!
I don't like mildliners that much (underrated opinion) maybe for aesthetics?
This was such a great and informative video to watch! Right on time for my bullet journal and supplies haul. I had my eye on the full set of Zebra midliners too but decided it wasn't worth the price just for highlighting. I did purchase this set though and am so excited to use as a dupe for the midliners. This video was so helpful. Thanks so much!
I ADORE the SuperTips! This was a much affordable way for me to get colours similar to mildliner or stabilo but without the higher cost. My main gripe with SuperTips is... PLS PUT COLOUR NAMES ON THE MARKER. The caps are not the most accurate representation of the colour so if I place on back into the pile, good luck on finding it again easily lol. Names would make that so much better.

Last year I spent about 2 days searching and matching and labelling them to go with my Prismacolor pencils. It was a huge project, but SO worth it!

The price has gone insane with the mildliners in the last few years though and I’m so happy to see this comparison. Will definitely not making the unnecessary purchase 😁
I love supertips -- 1. they are cheap, 2. I can get them in Canada, 3. they have a million colours, 4. I don't worry if my 3 year old gets one, 5. they fit in a regular pencil case

At the time that I was looking for these, I couldn't find the 100 count anywhere except online and then they were sold out? I dunno, I was struggling lol. But then I decided that the 50 count was probably all I really needed and I'm happy with them. Maybe one day I'll spring for the 100 but for now I'm good. I labeled mine in sharpie but it rubbed off (heh heh) easily so I used clear tape to cover the numbers lol.. looks meh but at least I can reference my swatch page and know the exact color I want and grab the correct marker.
If I could go back in time and save all my money and do one thing differently, I would not buy ANY of the trendy shiz and just buy the big box of supertips, a set of pigma microns, and maybe some new Sharpie S Gel blacks and call it a day.

Yes to the tombow/supertip comparison. What I did with mine was number them all with masking tape and then swatch them with their numbers in a notebook that I can use for reference if I want to. I'm definitely interested in the highlighter thunder dome even though I've found my happy place with the Uni Propus Windows (the ones with the smaller plastic nib not the felt tip). Always enjoy your videos!
What are the Uni Propus Windows?
I did the same thing with a label maker. It was a lot of work, but I’ve had mine for three years, so it was worth it.
@@533134 Highlighters by Uniball. I had to order them online because they're not sold in stores from what I can see. I've had them since July and they're my favorite. I stopped using my Mildliners ages ago in favor of the dual tip Crayola take note highlighters. But these are also dual tipped but have one ink color (the Crayola's had two ink colors so if you ran out of one side the other was still good but you'd still need a new one because... yeah). I absolutely love them.

I recently got the 50 pack on sale at Michael's, and it ended up only being $7.99 by the time I got to apply my coupon. I'm pretty happy with them! I do have a pastel Tombow dual brush set and a Zebra mildliners pack from Amazon, which are also super pastel. So I've been reaching for my supertips more often than I thought I would for bright, vibrant colors.
I've actually been inspired this week to do a rainbow gradient in my Recollections vertical planner because of your last couple of videos. There's been no ghosting, the colors are saturated, and I'm able to play with font sizing and fauxligraphy with them

I am absolutely the type of person to get overwhelmed by too many color choices. I greatly prefer the 20 pack, even though the sky blue marker is in the 50 pack.... and there are some colors from the 100 set that I'd like to have.... but in the end too many markers is just a bit overwhelming to me. I hope you did do a video n Tombow vs Crayola Supertips because I use both. I will look for it .
I bought the 100 set just to get all the greys! I've had some of them for years. I also bought a 10 pack of the fat black ones as I agree the super tips black is NOT black.
Glad you did this... I’m loving using them both, but the super tips usually win out because they are cheaper!

I would love a super tip/tom bow comparison. I recently picked up the super tips because of their price. The Tombows are just too rich for my budget right now but I might invest in them in the future. I did look up the super tip names and now comes the fun part of matching up the colors. What a not so fun time for me 😒. TFS

I got the crayola pip squeak markers rather than the supertips, simply because they have names! The marker tip is the same but it is a short pen, even when posted. You can get a 64 pen pack, which is plenty enough for me.

This was great! As for future reviews, is there such a thing as opaque paint pens that could be used to cover printed things in a planner, while adding less bulk than washi and stickers? So far putting down correction tape is the best alternate I've found. EDITED TO ADD: maybe Posca or Woodcraft would work? I'm looking again at your Archer & Olive marker review. The Sharpie white water-based pen didn't work for me.
Thank you for pointing me to the numbers on the mildiners. I have been looking for them, but just didn't see them between all the Japanese, LOL! I just got my mildliners recently, and that helps a lot. ^_^

Hey could you do a review on the java pen highlighter, the DONG-A twin liner double sided highlighter and also the daiso branded highlighter as they come in a pack of 5 for really cheap (idk if u have a daiso though)
The lack of color name on the pen will keep me from buying these lol. Also, from the video it looked like the cap didn’t match the color of the ink very well. Is it that way in person? That drives me nuts with some of the Tombows, and they even have the number on the pen! I seriously need to make a color chart with the numbers. Thanks for this video, all of these about pens/markers are fantastic!

I can’t believe the 100 pack is $15. I can’t buy it in store as the biggest amount they have is the 50 pack which costs $36... To buy these online they are quite expensive still and I can’t find any 100 pack that ships to my country😭

Dunno whereabouts you’re from but Crayola is starting to roll out their range to more countries now. I can buy them in-store here in the Netherlands, and they’re still pretty cheap.
