Absolutely love this. I love how every exercise is sport-specific and you're giving us an explanation on how that move translates to fighting. Looks tough, but I'm excited to give this a try!
Hey, Mr Funk, loved this circuit! I'm a trainer & mixed Martial Artist over 35 yrs & always splice in routines like Yours! Excellent mash-up, keepem coming, Dave Mann Thefitnessmann B Blessed Brother 😇😇😇
Awesome high intensity workout men!ill definitely implement this one in my program.and btw been using ur 10bjj drills for months.45sec worktime then 25sec restime.then i added in the end of the round 8mins exercises(2mins each):ropes, deadlift, front squats with wt.BB.,burpees side-side.25sec rest time in between exercises.5mins warm up from the start.for 3 rounds,68mins total.now after 11months my endurance is insane.esp when i compete and train in the gym with my partners.i can feel that my game is stepping up coz i got the chance to sparr/drill more techniques.after 1hr drills,i do 1hr sparring(with 1min rest per 10mins sparring per round).thanks to you men i got inspired to train more as well as my team mates.we do this drill all the time for months.we appreciate ur efforts posting lots of training programs.Oss!
Thank you for another great workout!! I literally just finished this and really enjoyed the variety of exercises and the way you split up the different sections. Those tuck jump burpees at the end of the explosive section almost killed me haha!! Please keep them coming!
I Love your Workouts always learning something new, Started 6 Weeks ago and get some strength increase and alot more Motivation. Only Taking your Workouts in the Future. Keep it Up, your Amazing Work. 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 Doing Monday one of your Workouts and on Wednesday and Friday a Official HIIT Training from the Gym i always try to Go on my Limits with every Workout its Working well the only Problem what i have is what iam eating 😅 Greetings from Germany 👋🏾
This workout is no joke. 2nd time running it but wasn't sure how many warm up sets to do for round 1 before doing the deadlifts and db presses. I had to go lighter than expected so I don't risk burning out before the rest of the rounds. Usually takes at least 3 sets to build up to 70% of my max without risking injury. Really tough workout, takes me longer than 30 minutes.
Love it. Tired of just lifting weights at the gym. I've been looking for a workout routine like yours for a while now. What do you do to warm up, run on the treadmills?
Thank You so much for being such grateful person and for sharing yours experience and knowledge for all of us!! As personal trainer,I'd say this material is priceless! I hope one day to meet You in live! Hespect!))
Hey Funk. I'm currently on 126 lbs and want to move up to 135. I want to know if this help me move up weight. I really like this workout because it's really functional. I'm getting stiff doing heavy lifting and losing my endurance and flexibility. So I wanna know if I can move up weight with this exercise.
dude. im loving your workouts. im afraid to try them but you're motivating me to start. ive been out of the consistent routine for a few years since my daughter was born. any advice for getting back into it? a little about me, I'm a marine vet and an experienced martial artist, though I've not trained in an official capacity for over 10 years (I'm 37 in June) as far as intense training its been on and off but not consistent for about the same amount of time. since my daughter it's been almost non existent, lol.
Great Work as Usual! Thanks for these workouts they are challenge 4 sure. Keep them coming. I was hypnotized just watching it in that new format! More going on in the video. Dude the tuck jump burpees I have been doing lately are absolutely brutal plyometrics and total heart freak consumes a massive amount of energy. Thanx bro.
You are so right on the Tuck Jump Burpees, but don't you feel like a beast after you are done? Thanks for the kind words regarding the new youtube video
Only equivalent is say sprinting 100m and 200m or even 300/400m on an olympic track for me. Thats more challenging tests your wind. Tuck Burps challenge your Burst ability.
Can anybody explain me does Strength and conditioning contains cardio training or are these two different if they are what are the differences. How do fighters manage these training in their training schedule.
Hi, i got one simple question , i know im kind of strong, but when doing this workout just after the first circuit wich i dont even rest 15 sec between exercices i feel dizzy, wanna throw up. what am i doing wrong.... how can i get better with it, what should i change and i can i do the same thing every 2days or make a routine a week (monday: this circuit- wednesday: strenght training-friday :normal bodybuilding volume training) Thanks for the help.
Tahtoh your stamina is just not good enough. Keep doing it and you will imrpove fast its all about doing it for a long period of time there is nothing special to it.
I bought your. FunkFlex Elite Strength and Conditioning for MMA and Combat Athletes program for £30.70 inc VAT (Im from UK) and then i click the green button in my email to access it and it takes me to another upsell page for something for $9 which i also bought and i havent received anything for that and i also cannot access any of the 2 products. One thing i can access is your 14 day free trial at the online university. How do I access the items i paid £30 for and $9 for? Thanks Funk
Nice workout but consider that in a commercial gym you can't do this, because e.g for the first round you need a barbell, a kb/db, a bench and the pull up bar as well
Mr. Roberts, Thank you for your excellent and informative videos. May I humbly mention that the proper speech would be "exercise number three "IS"--not "ARE"--even if the sentence is "Exercise number three is burpees". Yes, "burpees" is plural but exercise is singular. Just sayin'. Thanks.
this is gold. it's always the lower view videos with the best content

Wow!!!
Can you do this more than two days a week?
Can anybody explain me does Strength and conditioning contains cardio training or are these two different if they are what are the differences.
How do fighters manage these training in their training schedule.
Strength and conditioning is or endurance
Cardio is for stamina
Is it possible to replace the deadlift exercise with something else ?
train like a fighter, like a beast
100 Percent!
love landmine workouts, burpees are from hell though :)
I can't do pull up and you give me some tips. I weigh 232
