17:10 About Guitar Hero guitars: They're still in demand because of the free PC game, Clone Hero. The wireless Xbox 360 guitars can be tested on a PC with a Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Controller adapter. Last I checked, they cost ~$15. You can completely check the functionality of the guitars - wammy bar and even tilt gyroscope - through controller settings in the Control Panel.
No joke! In one video he was saying he was going to get $75 for an older used iPhone, I tried to sell the exact same thing for $79 around the time he made the video (2017) and it sat on eBay... and sat there... so I lowered it to $69... and it sat there... so I lowered it to $59... and it sat there (I think you see where this is going). I ended up taking a best offer of $35 after I had lowered it to $50 because $35 in the pocket is better than nothing. Also, I know with games and some stuff, nostalgia can be involved - but who is paying $30 for an older used router when you can get a new one for that price? Those voice recorders I absolutely don't believe they will sell as well as he claims.

Regarding the sunglasses. They appear to be genuine. Bausch and Lomb owned Rayban until 1999 when they sold the brand to Luxottica, who owns Lenscrafters. Nice find.

@Doug Durrum I think it's important to note that Rabbit is an actual business, not just some random flipper. He can afford to sit on items until he gets the price he wants, that's why he's able to make high expected selling prices. He doesn't need to flip immediately just to afford to keep buying things unlike some people.
His income is from UA-cam views. I doubt he breaks even at times all I see is junk or maybe in that area he lives ppl like junk? Here in California that not even goodwill wants.

Those ray bans are prime another brand if you ever come across is bolle they are worth a lot of money too. But a lot of great finds today keep on rocking it.
Opera shouldn't be a guilty pleasure, it's just classy. Also at first I was like a lot of the commentators in thinking that the prices you were asking were out there, but a peek on eBay show that this really is what it goes for on there. Interesting. I might have to pick up a few extras the next time I go thrifting just to see what happens.

Well Hello , wondering if you can suggest the cheapest way but still nice way to start taking pictures of my products that I will be trying to sell. Thx so much. 😄
Proper light and a clean background. Nice wooden table with a solid colour wall behind it, a few lights so there's no harsh shadows and just taking the time to frame things properly.
What the rolling troll said. Get a good light kit (they’re $40-80 on amazon) and a nice white background. You don’t need much for a camera, a modern smartphone will work. I’ll talk about it in tomorrow’s video.
@@ResaleRabbit Sorry for answering for you! I'm used to UA-camrs not having time to answer to everything. Impressed with how active you are at replying here. I would recommend a tripod if you work with an older camera but other than that, anything goes. Whatever you do, do not use a flash unless you can mount one so it's flashing indirectly via a wall/ceiling. As for the light kit; Here in the Netherlands you often find 'film lights' from the 60's and 70's assets.catawiki.nl/assets/2015/10/6/6/4/c/64c93984-6c2f-11e5-8ebc-e92dda025485.jpg They are usually less than 3 dollars. They do get really, really hot though so you can only use them for a few minutes at a time, or you have to find one with a built-in fan. Work really well, but do make sure you use more than one otherwise shadows will ruin everything.
Samsung combos almost never work for some reason. Beyond that, I’d say 1/10 gets returned. As for the other stuff, most all of it should work fine. I tested about half of it today. Only the micro cassette recorder and the Sony tape deck are defective. The tape deck is worth a lot and all it needs is a belt, so I’m going to try to fix it.
Resale Rabbit love your videos I think your a genius and a true hustler , between thrifting and the storage units , wow , your finds are amazing. Our goodwills are worthless between them selling online and way over pricing the ordinary crap I don’t go there anymore, hope they go out of biz 😮🤷♂️
I love all of the people commenting about how he won't make what he's quoting on, considering most of them don't resell on any platforms or have any experience flipping. Its surprising what people will pay for things online. Just because something is old, doesn't mean people won't pay for it. I frequently buy surplus (usually outdated equipment) from government auctions and thrift shop at Salvation Army and Goodwill and very rarely do my profit margins after all fees and shipping charges dip below twice what I paid for the product or more. It's actually fairly common to quadruple or more what I spent on the item.
Every time you donate a bag of stuff to Goodwill you get a coupon attached to the donation tax receipt. I always keep a bunch of bags in my trunk so I get a bunch of coupons. It helps reduce the price a lot.
Dude, I have gotten thrifting burnout. It is getting harder and harder and HARDER to find ANYTHING of value in my local thrift stores (I am in the Washington, DC vicinity). I think just about everybody is reselling thrift items, here, and the thrift stores have SKYROCKETED their prices. By the time you buy it, and resell it, you aren't making much of anything. And the time I spend on finding it, driving all around, taking pictures, posting it on Ebay, packing it and shipping it, it has become less and less of a profitable means of time. You must live in an area where there are less resellers stalking the Goodwills. Here, on any given day, morning noon or night, the thrift stores are PACKED with people. No one here seems to work, or they are government employees with lots of free time. I work during the day - so by the time I get to the stores later in the day, there isn't much meat on the bone. The fact that you are filming inside the Goodwills with little to no people around tells me that you have very little competition. Also, the prices in your Goodwills seems incredible compared to the ones here. I can't believe some of the prices on some of those things in your cart. $3.99 for an Olympus digital recorder?!?!? new in the original blister pack? WHAT THE FUCKING HELL!!!! Both you and Craigslist Hunter live around prime thrifting real estate.
Would be interested in seeing the actual eBay sale price of the stuff you bought today and how long it takes to sell. Seems to me that the prices you are throwing out are best case scenario (or just plain insane) and giving people unrealistic expectations. Some of the stuff you found definitely can bring good money, but things like VHS rewinders, 35mm point and shoot cameras, and old modems in general are going to take ages to sell and probably aren't going to bring in more than $5 to $15.
Maybe I just needed to get to the end of the vid, coz it looks like you're just looking at other people's listings of identical items on EBay to determine whether it's worth your while. Do you sell outside the US as well?
@@ItsFrankieBoy if you watch more of his videos people definitely do. He has videos showing his sales on Ebay and amazon. It seems crazy but it happens.
1. Go to eBay. 2. Look for the exact item he is showing. 3. Filter the results for "Sold." You will see that he is right on. I sell this stuff all the time. I am 71 years old and have made profit of $500.00 per week this month AFTER cost, fees and shipping with still a week to go.
David Schneider Good job. I'm thinking about doing this too. I have an Ebay Store, but it's completely different. Might open a Basic Store, and try out his suggestions.

Yes! What a load of stuff! Some good ideas. I’m trying to step up my reselling game and you always give me good ideas for stuff besides clothes, which is where I’m comfortable. :)
My Goodwill always has crazy deals on clothing. But I've heard too many stories of mass (ebay) returns from pissed off buyers for failure to properly measure them. I am not a seamstress, and have no clue how to measure clothing properly.

Hey, I know that first St. Vincent De Paul. Good times. I've never been in that other store up the street next to Milwaukee PC. Maybe I should some day.
Shake Me I was gonna day...wonder if customers saying something about the pricing being way too high would get them to look at this issue at the particular stores that price too high..costing them money by pricing too high
I don’t think saying anything about their high prices will help. My GW sells t-shirts with seams (armpit to hem) for $3.99 and t-shirts without seems for $1.49. No one buys them and the rack is packed so tight you couldn’t even look at them if you wanted to. It’s been like that for over a year and I make a comment about it at least once a month. They don’t seem to care :)
Goodwill is different in every region. Usually it changes from major city to major city. They have different sales, promotions and return policies. With that, you see different pricing around the country too. Milwaukee and Chicago are one franchise, Green Bay is different, that’s why I end up getting so much more down there.
I'm not sure if it was the sombrero, or the mrs rabbit eating your pizza that made me hit the like button. You are not only educational you dear sir are hilarious!
I wouldn’t buy none of that stuff unless boxed with all the components. And then still I’d have to check it out as far as prices go. But all the best and thanks for the vids!
Wayfarers were popular in the late 80's early 90's so the pair you have are from around abouts their heyday, they were fairly heavily faked but the presence of paperwork gives confidence. I Noticed the B+L on the arm which was something a lot of the counterfeiters missed back in the day so again that gives confidence. You may also find a B+L logo engraved into the corner of one of the lenses but I'm not sure when they started doing that so if it isn't there that doesn't necessarily mean fake. I'm no sunglasses expert but used to be a pawnbroker so have seen a fair few fakes.
Dude I can't believe you got those cheap prices at a Goodwill in Milwaukee because a couple hours northwest and there is barely ever a good deal on electronics and everything else is priced close to cost. Your lucky I would probably freeze up in shock and not know what to do there. And I would have definitely bought all the Harley Davidson numbered history pieces

@Poopie pants says poopie pants?
are you successful with that attitude?
@Poopie pants ur dissing UA-cam altogether, but what are u really mad about? Life's too short
I call BS on your expected selling prices.
There's always one moron that does.
@Doug Durrum I think it's important to note that Rabbit is an actual business, not just some random flipper. He can afford to sit on items until he gets the price he wants, that's why he's able to make high expected selling prices. He doesn't need to flip immediately just to afford to keep buying things unlike some people.
I pass on guitar hero, nowadays, unless boxed or a special issue!
His income is from UA-cam views. I doubt he breaks even at times all I see is junk or maybe in that area he lives ppl like junk? Here in California that not even goodwill wants.
@@mike88g1 I happen to know what his ebay store name is and I have viewed his sold items and you would be surprised how much people are willing to pay for this stuff that some consider worthless junk !
do if something doesn't work when you test it you put it up as untested ?
Keep the videos coming always interesting content
indeed 👍
Those ray bans are prime another brand if you ever come across is bolle they are worth a lot of money too. But a lot of great finds today keep on rocking it.
Opera shouldn't be a guilty pleasure, it's just classy.
Also at first I was like a lot of the commentators in thinking that the prices you were asking were out there, but a peek on eBay show that this really is what it goes for on there.
Interesting.
I might have to pick up a few extras the next time I go thrifting just to see what happens.
I just came across yr channel n was n eBay seller.. It just so happens that we r fixing to do a huge house clean out of our home. Watching this vid I’m finding out my home is a treasure chest u would love for yr eBay, I am the type of person who keeps packaging n manuals..if ONLY I still lived in Wisconsin, I would say COME ON OVER.. LOL Loving yr vids..
Great finds ! I was impressed you knew exactly what the sky box was ☺️ they sell for €80 here
I watch a lot of techmoan lol
Love your videos! What listing software do you use? Thanks...
Just eBay. I don’t have any special software for that.
I don't know what you are thinking, but those Harley plaques with pens inside it should of got them. You could of sat on them for a few months if necessary. I bet they would sell and make 40-50 on them
Well Hello , wondering if you can suggest the cheapest way but still nice way to start taking pictures of my products that I will be trying to sell.
As for the light kit; Here in the Netherlands you often find 'film lights' from the 60's and 70's

They are usually less than 3 dollars. They do get really, really hot though so you can only use them for a few minutes at a time, or you have to find one with a built-in fan. Work really well, but do make sure you use more than one otherwise shadows will ruin everything.
The Rolling Troll hey, you’re good! I don’t always get to the comments and it’s nice to have multiple people give answers. We’re all here to help!
@@ResaleRabbit Good to hear! Thanks. Looking forward to the next video, as always!
Jeanette McDonald and Nelson Eddie are the best Opera ever. Movies were entertaining too. Jeanette was incomparable.
I wish I had your knowledge on all of the electronic stuff!
I didn’t always have it. You’ll learn it in time.
How many of these electronic items that you buy don’t work ? Especially dvd vcr combos?
It's actually fairly common to quadruple or more what I spent on the item.
the unknown Goodwill across the road from the pet supplies store is in Brookfield
I always clean up at the brown deer goodwill. I have yet to find anything good at the grafton goodwill.
I always do well at Grafton. Brown deer is usually good for a few things.
Every time you donate a bag of stuff to Goodwill you get a coupon attached to the donation tax receipt. I always keep a bunch of bags in my trunk so I get a bunch of coupons. It helps reduce the price a lot.
Holli Glendenning I have never had that happen for me out West.
sherry nalder Really? That sucks! Sometimes I get 50% coupons! Usually I only get 25% off but it’s better than nothing!
Employees at my goodwill look up the prices of things on ebay and price accordingly.Only time you get a good price is on their 50% off days.
Find a better Goodwill that doesn't know the value of the items you're looking for. I like one near a major university they get great stuff.
Ray Bans were very expensive in the 90s I would have picked them up as well 🤙
That was before Luxottica bought RayBan from B&L and dropped the quality and raised the prices. Tons better quality than today’s RayBans.
@Poopie pants Then how come you read it?
All ray bans have a RB scratched into the top corner of the lens hold them up to the light and you can see it . Peace
I show the days sold items at the end of almost every video.
Maybe I just needed to get to the end of the vid, coz it looks like you're just looking at other people's listings of identical items on EBay to determine whether it's worth your while. Do you sell outside the US as well?
I think you are dreaming with the values you quote
I was just gonna say that. Who's gonna pay $30 and $40 for outdated garbage that's all scratched up?
@@ItsFrankieBoy if you watch more of his videos people definitely do. He has videos showing his sales on Ebay and amazon. It seems crazy but it happens.
1. Go to eBay. 2. Look for the exact item he is showing. 3. Filter the results for "Sold." You will see that he is right on. I sell this stuff all the time. I am 71 years old and have made profit of $500.00 per week this month AFTER cost, fees and shipping with still a week to go.
When people need a replacement for a specific piece of equipment that you cant find new anymore, they will pay up.
David Schneider Good job. I'm thinking about doing this too. I have an Ebay Store, but it's completely different. Might open a Basic Store, and try out his suggestions.
I've watched a few of your vids here and there and didn't know you lived in WI. Noticed that you didn't check out the oak creek store on howell near the airport. Any reason? I live down the block from that one, trying to learn to do this drifting thing and go there all the time.
No particular reason, I just didn’t have time.
Great video (like the old rabbit stuff!) So did you get that Sony from ebay?
Haven’t heard back yet.
No one's gonna buy anything at those prices
I already sold a bunch of stuff from this video. I’ve been showing sales at the end of most videos.
People do buy it, He usually let it sit for awhile. The prices are over price. But people are out there that buy them not knowing. People like you are just pure cheap and always want discount on everything.
@@finditandfixit2081 Its not that he is "cheap". Its that anyone with half a brain would NEVER pay the ridiculous prices he was quoting. He quoted 30 dollars for a beat up used portable CD player! Lmao! That is 90's tech that you can buy brand new for less than 30 dollars. He is in fantasy land and by your comment you are just a fucking idiot.
Space Alien Watch your mouth idiot. I wasn’t referring to this video only. All reseller are cheap as fuck. When it come their item for sale. They wouldn’t budge on the price. Some old tech are worth more than other. You stupid moron. If you had been watching his video, You know he a low baller. He low ball the shit out of people. Taking advantage of them.
Space Alien waiting on your other half of brain to make a comment. You fucking moron! You probably one of those special reseller on OfferUp. Ask for half off and when they do it to you, You wouldn’t except it.
Hey hi, how many items do not function that you buy? Do you then just sell them for parts on eBay or what? PS you forgot to buy that awesome sombrero 🙃
Sometimes I’ll sell them for parts, sometimes I’ll return them, sometimes I’ll recycle or trash them. It just depends on the situation.
This dude is awesome ,very informative. Why all the negative comments?
DUDE!!! I live in the area and saw those there! Lol It was tempting with that sticker on them but with none really selling on eBay or Craigslist I couldn't do it either!
glasses appear real. how are the lenses? any scratches?
So what was the item in the case you were going to tell us about. Cripes , the suspense is Killin me!!!
You can get how much for the Crosley alarm clock? Really? Looks cheap and plastic.
I am glad I am not the only one that caught on to that! I looked it up on eBay and two were listed. One is brand new for $28.34 with free shipping. One used one for $23.00 with $5.00 shipping. www.ebay.com/itm/Timelink-33388b-Crosley-Decorative-Analog-Clock-for-Desk-and-Mantel-Quiet-Sweep/293137713232?hash=item44405e8850:g:R6kAAOSwtThdGPjP
Billy Dub Crosley is a wonderful brand.
what year was this video recorded?
2018 maybe. Not sure offhand.
@@ResaleRabbit lol im joking..
USA THRIFT WAS THE BEST THRIFT STORE IN MILWAUKEE AREA WITH BEST PRICES MADE AT LEAST 10000 - 15000 OFF THERE ITEM IN 2018
There is usually a drawer full of keys at the retail I used to work at. Some were there up to a year.
How do people leave without them?! Lol
Locksmith or spares I guess.
Did they have a drawer full of abandoned cars? Lol
I wish!
I left without my Ferrari last week. Is it in there? LOL
I have been doing well with the guitar hero guitars on eBay and Amazon even with out the dongles. I think people are looking for replacement guitars and have the dongles already or just want a different guitar to play once in awhile,Like a real guitarists has more than one guitar to play
Have you been to the Good Will outlet in Sterdvant?
Hey, I know that first St. Vincent De Paul. Good times. I've never been in that other store up the street next to Milwaukee PC. Maybe I should some day.
Your Goodwills sell product super cheap! Most of what you listed would be 2 to 3x more at my local Goodwills.
And my too, Here in INDIANAPOLIS,INDIANA. You don't find anything good in my local GOODWILL......
It just depends on who is doing the pricing. When “that person” quits or relocates to another store.. then BOOM the prices will drop
Wow I have never seen that style of goodwill sticker before. Out here they are way different. I had no idea they varied like that
Goodwill is different in every region. Usually it changes from major city to major city. They have different sales, promotions and return policies. With that, you see different pricing around the country too. Milwaukee and Chicago are one franchise, Green Bay is different, that’s why I end up getting so much more down there.
Love your vids!!
Kinda curious why you take a car when you could be taking an SUV or truck/canopy?
So... are those Ray Bans still available? Probably not. 😩
No, they’re long sold. Sorry!
Now I have to go to my local good will or I'm gonna be missing out big time on profits
I love this video ,so interesting and funny 😂. Old lady from Iowa 😂🚙👍☝️👏👏👏🌽🌽🌽🌽❤️❤️❤️
If you still have that Sony cassette deck, I am interested in it. Depending on your price, I'll buy it!
“People will stare. That’s right I’m talking about you.”
Everyone stating his prices are way overvalued, but he has a giant warehouse and employees. . .like he is clearly making money.
Returning that car key is a sign that you’re a good samaritan 👍👍👍😇😇😇
Alternatively he could have kept them and drove them both home
People are idiots if they pay those prices
Everybody in the whole world has overpaid for something at some point. Why not be the guy that gets overpaid. He has very high ratings because he is very thorough about testing every single product replacing batteries and stuff people pay for peace of mind.
Who buying these things at these prices?.
Wish we had that many op shop's here (op shop is the same as thrift store in Australia). We have 5 in our little town and none of them have very much in them..
