Yeah, Fujifilm bodies without a dedicated MOVIE-STILL switch is a pain in the ass to "keep settings". I use the C1 for Photo (my photo settings) and C2 for Video 4K and C3 for Video 6K. Glad you figured out that weird thing. But I loved your footage in the beginning - looked great considering it was the XC15-45.
is there a way to make the video settings manual under the "M" dial? Whenever I hit record, I get auto settings/iso, but want it to be manual. I know how to set C1-C4 to video settings, but wondering if there's a way to have manual iso for video while under "M" instead of just for the custom settings (C1-C4)
Actually, M, or P and S are just for photo. If you use the red rec button, it is a bit misleading as it is a shortcup to auto recording, this is why is not manual. As you said in video, you need to use a video mode, that is configured to manual in menu. For this, you can use the video position, or configure C1,C2,C3 or C4 for video and set to manual. And you dont need to use the red rec button to start recording, as you configured to video. welcome to fuji :D
Hmm. It depends on what you’re trying to filming. For my style which is run and gun type of video, the stabalization is not for me 👀 I’m working on a new video explaining this a little more
For the issue of the camera turning off and resetting itself, is the lense updated to the latest firmware? I saw someone else was having the same issue, but when they updated the lens firmware it went away.
@@PhillipRPeck thanks but I think that’s not the problem. It would turn off and rest at vlog and video mode at different times couples seconds or minutes. It varies 🤔
Let me know if you have some fixes for these problems 😅
@@tomwong6042 this ^ i had the same problem and updated the lens and that did the fix =)
@@tomwong6042 yes, I have the kit 15-45 lens. I’ll try updating. Thank you 🙏🏽
@@rickyross9073 you haven’t had the problem since?

@@oxeneers thank you! ☺️ Definitely need time to figure where everything is as a newbie on the Fuji system.
No prob. Good meeting you. I will give you a shout out on my next review. I am also still undecided with this camera. 😮
@@ScottsReviews nice meeting you too! I hope you’re getting good content in Hawaii 😁

Thanks for this. Still learning all the quirks of Fuji.🤓
Ah, that makes sense. I've been trying to change the video settings under "M" to no avail lol
@ same. It was so frustrating 🤣
Great great video👍👍
How was digital image stabilization? Is it good enough to film. Thank you.

@@henrysit8867 Hi you can go to the Fuji website or google Fuji 15-45 lens firmware update 😄
Very nice footage!
@@cordeezyt thank you ☺️
What are your settings for Auto Power Off? By default, it's set to turn off after two minutes

@@GodwinIsaac Bummer, too obvious I guess
@@PhillipRPeck I appreciate it. I'll make sure to turn off that setting just in case
Did the lens firmware update fix the issue?
Yes, it did for me 😃
Update the lens firmware and the auto turn on and off stops, talking about 16-50 XC lens. With other lenses it won’t turn off.
I'll give it a try 🙏🏽
@ did it fix ?
@ hi, yes it fixed it on mine 😃
I had the problem and I checked but it says there is no update? how do I update the firmware on the lens??
please let me know thanks!
Hi, if you search Fujifilm 15-45 lens firmware update, you should be able to see it right away
The biggest issue for me is when it resets while im recording, i want to use this as my cam-b but i can't if it constantly restarts when i record 😥
@@estevansta does it reset even after updating? 👀
Update the lens’ firmware. That will fix the problem.
Thank for the tip 😁
last problem -> update len's firmware !
